Started my process back in October 2023. Lots of hoops to jump through, but that was certainly expected and explained to me in the very beginning by Elizabeth S. She held my hand through the entire process and reassured… me every step of the way. Finally got cleared a couple of weeks ago through the county and was in touch with another gem at Greater Hope named Isela. I could not ask for a better advocate in my corner. Last week I got my first baby, and we are having the time of our lives. Thank you, Greater Hope.

I have been working with the agency since December. My husband and I have done all of our steps within hours of being instructed to, and as teachers, keep hitting road blacks delaying our adoption process. We aren’t… hearing back from our developer or higher up, after reaching out, time and time again. We are growing concerned that this is not a good fit. Hopefully they can get back to us through a review because voicemails, texts, and emails aren’t working… We have become VERY concerned.

This is such a wonderful Agency to work with. They are a great support team for children/family and resources families. My husband and I feel them walking by our side in helping these kiddos.

JESSE MAURICE,AA PROGRAM SPECIALIST-RECRUITMENT AT GREATER HOPE… FOUNDATION SEND ME A NOTICE OF ACTION WHICH IS A FALSE STATEMENT . MY INCOME WAS TURN IN AT THE INTERVIEW SEPTEMBER2018 AND WAS APPROVED AFTER FINGERPRINT WAS CLEAR AND BEFORE MY HOME INSPECTION WAS APPROVED . I STARTED CLASSES IN AUGUST2018 COMPLETED THEM SEPTEMBER2018 MY FINGERPRINTS WAS CLEAR I PROVIDED ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION- PAPERS WORK- MY INCOME - MEDICAL INFORMATION- A SIGNED AGREEMENT FROM MY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY-FOR ME TO FOSTER A CHILD IN MY HOME- MY HOME INSPECTION WAS APPROVED- ON DECEMBER 5.2018 ALL THIS WAS COMPLETED WITH NOELLE WOOD (RECRUITMENT SPECIALIS)HER (SUPERVISOR )MRS. JESSE AND TINA OGG (ADOPTION SOCIAL WORKER) I STARTED TO HAVE A LOT OF CONCERN ABOUT HOW GREATER HOPE FOUNDATION WILL CONTINUE TO PUT ME ON HOLD WHEN NOELLE WOOD CAME TO MY HOME SHE ASKED ME WHERE DO I KEEP -MY PERSONAL PAPER WORK IN MY HOME- WHY WILL THIS BE HER CONCERN? WHEN THAT HAVE NOTHING TOO DO WITH ME BECOMING A FOSTER PARENT . NOELLE WOOD MRS. JESSE AND TINA OGG INFORM ME THAT GREATER HOPE FOUNDATION HAVE ALREADY APPROVED ME IN IT WILL BE NO REASON WHY THE COUNTRY WILL DENY ME TO BECOME A FOSTER PARENT BUT TO ONLY HAVE GREATER HOPE FOUNDATION TO DENY ME ON JANUARY.18.2019 DECEMBER2018 I WAS TOLD I WAS IN THE FINAL STAGES TO BECOMING A FOSTER PARENT N THIS WAIT I WAS GOING THROUGH WAS BECAUSE THE COUNTRY WAS BACK UP WITH PLACEMENT. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MRS. JESSE ASKING ME TO COME IN ON JANUARY18.2019 TO DISCUSS OTHER ITEMS NEEDED FOR MY HOME BUT WHEN I COME IN SHE INFORMED ME THAT GREATER HOPE FOUNDATION WILL NOT USE ME TO BECOME A FOSTER PARENT DO TO MY INCOME ! WOW!! THEY NEW ABOUT MY INCOME IN SEPTEMBER2018 BUT CONTINUE TO GET ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION- MEDICAL RECORDS -PICTURE OF MY HOME AND MYSELF. WHAT GREATER HOPE FOUNDATION DID TO ME WAS UNPROFESSIONAL -WRONG-AND I BELIEVE ILLEGAL TO COLLECT THIS INFORMATION FROM ME AND NEW THEY WAS NOT GOING TO USE ME. THIS MATTER IS MORE ON A PERSONAL LEVEL GREATER HOPE FOUNDATION IS INVOLVED WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE AND THEY TOLD NOELL WOOD NOT TO LET ME BECOME A FOSTER PARENT . THIS IS WHAT I DO BELIEVE At that time if my income was a problem once my fingerprints got cleared I finished my training with this agency I turned in all my paperwork proof of INCOME they should have stopped me then but no the recruitment specialist Noel in her supervisor Jessie inform me everything was verified and cleared now it's time for the next step home inspection that was cleared Noel in Jessi inform me that I would have a baby in my home by Christmas Then it was three sessions in my home with adoption social worker her last visit to my home Adoption social worker told me you're at the final stage and soon to have a baby placed in your home 3 weeks went past I reached out to greater Hope foundation the recruitment specialist Noel was ignoring my calls her supervisor Jesse was ignoring my calls the adoption social worker was ignoring my calls this went on for a month Then they kept giving me the run-around there's no babies in the system this turned into three months finally the supervisor Jesse called me and asked me to come into the office she said she came to the conclusion that they did not want to use me as a foster parent I said why because your income is not enough ! Smh this is when I realized there are a lot of BAD people who have authority over the Foster system #FixFosterCare
