WOW saw this out on the Internet IT'S a picture of my private information and medical chart with all my personal info ABSOLUTELY NOT OK!!! AND A BREAK OF HIPPA LAW!!! Like using People's private information about their sick patients and having some kind of disgruntled employee releasing it for the whole world to see. I Just don't understand it's very sad. And instead of an apology you get a complaint line extension.

The counseling staff particularly Chris having been the best counselor I’ve had at the clinic and anywhere for that matter. He is very personable and actually relates to patients by sharing his past and how it’s affected his life in relation to each patient and their own needs. Rather than past counselors who are just by the book, ie(this is what I read so this is how you should react to this, say to that …etc.) Chris has a way of making a negative situation positive even when you don’t think it is possible or fair. Chris is a huge asset to Aegis and they would be at a major disadvantage if they were to lose him. Ginger and Jim are very well trained friendly and understanding nurses who are fast and accurate at dealing with many patients daily. Faith, Cindy, Brooke, Cami, and Jeff are also amazing staff members who have made a difference in my life. They go above and beyond to help patients in personal ways showing they actually care about each patient as a person not just completing the bare minimum requirements to keep their job. All these staff member’s are what make Aegis more family like, not just a Dr office setting. Each one of them has made a personal difference in my life and I am grateful to each one of them for what they have done to make my life better.

Despicable place. Over medicating their clients. Counseling is a joke. One counselor literally puts her phone down for 20 minutes of the session. The client says " she's awesome, I don't want Counseling and she tells me to put the phone down, and she gets back on in 20 minutes" I have witnessed this. And I've also witnessed zero accountability regarding methadone overdose with active suicidal clients! They should be in jail! Or prison.

I go to the Atascadero location. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and I believe really do care. Very nice they take Medi-cal insurance. I've been able to make significant improvements in my life while receiving treatment here. I recommend going here if you are struggling with addiction. I love my counseling sessions with Sjana, she's very understanding and relatable. Thank you everyone!

It's a business. Just like everything else in America they are there to make money. But there's also some wonderful people that work there that care very much. And if you want to get clean, this is a way to do it. I have 2 yrs clean and we'll be off of methadone in ust a couple of days. So it's really up to you and what you want to do.

I read the negative comments and the positive ones and want to say to overcome addiction it takes both players the addict and the counselor to agree the bottom line is you got to want to become sober. No single person or service will free you from addiction. The best thing to do is understand no one remedy is going to save you or a family member . Remember keep an open mind, find the good don't look for the bad or criticize the program because it didn't work. Take what you learned and try try again, don't give up there is a lot of techniques and programs out there try again. Don't focus on the negatives or a few people that rubbed you the wrong way.

People who work here pretend to care but would rather act like petty teenagers than actually help those who need it. Putting their egos above the health of those who come here to change their lives and work through their addictions. Get it together, Aegis. You might wind up killing somebody due to your lack of morality and carelessness one day... but why should you care. You're only there to play God for a paycheck anyway.

Okay so loving & caring about your loved one here, while isn't important to the staff here, even management. It is important to family members who know more about the daily activities of their beloved family member ! This staff doesnt seem to the necessary intelligence to realize that they are being played by their clientele because they are too invested their abilities to make money ! You can call in and say hey !!! My family member has never stopped using drugs as aegis only cares about keeping their coffers full ! Great place to waste you're time trying to help your family !

I use to believe in this place. If your looking for sympathy you wont find it here. As long as you feed the money machine there your best friend. As soon as you truly need help they will toss you like your trash. I was so ready to get sober. But this last experience makes me want even more. Its just like any other dealer. You got cash there your best friend.. You don't then your not wan there time. There so much more shady things I could say but in not going down to there level. I hope everyone luck with there a recovery. Don't let them beat you down. Remember. The is a JOB to them. This is our life. Just don't except any sympathy

Passive-aggresive working environment. Don't go here. Find a different treatment center that treats patients with respect. Remember these places are for-profit, and they want to keep taking your money by putting you on long term maintenance instead of encouraging detox.

Methadone works, they provide it but Confidential information is given out without releases, there are favorites who get different better treatment, it is the methadone that helped me not Aegis and every time I turn around there is a different rule. I love Anna and she has been the greatest.

Aegis treatment center saved my life! If you want the help they are there to help you! Make the call it is the first step. The staff are very friendly and they care about you! They accept medi cal and other forms of insurance. They offer counceling and other classes to help with addiction and triggers leading to using. It was the best thing ive ever done and i recommend you do the same. I know its hard to ask for help and get clean but the program they have really work. The methadone helps the cravings and takes the edge off. They offer a 21 day detox aswell as 120 day program and a long term maintnence program. They get you to your theraputic dose and that is a amount of methadone you need to last 24 hr with out withdrawal. Make the call it works if you want to quit.

This is is a great place for people struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are all really nice and non-judgmental. This place has made it possible for a lot of people to get their lives back on track. They are accommodating for those people who have children and make the kids feel welcome and comfortable. I strongly urge any one who wants to get off of opiates to use this valuable tool thats available.
