Yesterday I purchased their service for substance abuse assessment online which was court ordered for a DUI I had from 2017. I needed it expedited to meet my court deadline so I paid $399 & they responded about an hour… later & asked if I would be available in an hour to do a phone call appointment. I said “yes of course!” How amazing they responded so quickly?! I got a call an hour later by their therapist Howard Huhem, & our phone call lasted 4 minutes. In the 4 minutes he actually yelled at me 3 different times to “STOP TALKING” that I “keep going on & on” & I was so caught off guard because 1. He was asking me questions & I was answering every single time he yelled at me to stop talking & 2. I just could not believe the way in which he was speaking to me. Nobody has ever yelled at me & talked down to me like that, but especially a therapist? What the hell. As a licensed therapist & mental health professional I can not actually believe you could talk to ANYONE like that, let alone someone who could be a potential client/ someone who would be assessed by you. In the first minute of the call he also mentioned how whatever I paid for the service he would only get a small portion of. So he wanted to make sure he was getting HIS moneys worth…? I was actually so confused & shaken up by this whole interaction even a day later I am still shaken up. I am a 27 year old woman & I am scared to speak to another therapist ever again… if this had been my first interaction with one I would 100% never try therapy again. After the third time of him yelling at me I finally said “the way you are talking to me is extremely disrespectful I am just answering your questions & you are yelling at me to stop talking? I’d like to go somewhere else with my time & money I don’t feel comfortable speaking with you anymore.” What kind of therapist is this? He did not apologize he did not acknowledge his behavior he just told me he is a nice guy & asked if my final answer was to request a refund. I called his office after our phone call to request a refund for the service & I told the front desk what had happened. She was nice & apologized for him & said she couldn’t believe he acted like that & that they have never had any complaints. I’ve never left a review on anything in my life but I had to share this experience because it shook me to my core, & the fact that he works with teenagers & in anger management is concerning to me. UPDATE: AJ the owner called me after I posted this, & apologized for my encounter with Howard. He asked me what happened, listened & even offered to provide the service himself, free of charge. I already signed up with a different provider but I wanted to note the generous offer. Both him & the front desk lady were kind & understanding of my experience.

This is a top notch company with impeccable service. They go the extra mile to ensure everything goes smoothly. I completed an online program that met all my requirements and i learned a lot too! I highly recommend the… AJ Novick Group!

I have seemed out Anger Management programs over the last 7-10 years. They would last for a few weeks then I was back to the same anger pattern. I almost lost my wife to my anger issues after 42 years ruining cruises,… vacations and trips. So,I sought out an accelerated program for two 4 hour sessions on two separate weekends over two months November and December 2020 offered by Dr. Ari Novick. I am making this review/entry because of the unbelievable transition I have made over the last 8 weeks thanks to Dr. Ari Novick's workbook coupled with the two four hour sessions with my proctor/mentor Howard Huhem. The work has to be done by me or the individual but the "tools" /"chapters" laid out in the workbook with written case examples was truly the combination I needed to get my life back on tract. Childhood scars have finally been placed in a mental box and I am now able to cope with my anger issues stemming from those childhood incidents. I wholeheartedly recommend any program Dr. Ari Novick offers to change your life and if you want a great person to host your class please ask for Howard Huhme. Thank you Dr. Novick!!
