The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I really enjoy coming here compared to others places bc it's smaller, I know a lot of people that go and because the staff go out of the way to help you.

At first I found AMS to have a better facility and program than other clinics I've been to. At the end of the day they are just like every other place out there.

I’ve been coming here since 2014. The nursing staff and counselors have improved so much over the years. The front desk receptionist Heather is warm and welcoming. The nursing staff is quick, professional & thorough. My… counselor Jamie is the best I’ve had in all of my years of recovery up to this point. She always points out the positives in any situation and has a soft & loving way of talking through anything negative. Aside from her loving & professional style of counsel, she has degrees and certificates that make her more than qualified for the job. Out of all the facilities in the area that assist with medicated outpatient addiction treatment, AMS is the cleanest, most qualified and most professional.

I love this clinic, my counselor is awesome (Brian) so is the new director, she's cool as a fan and the dosing nurses are awesome Hattie and Corey, Corey's is new but she picked the dosing aspect up literally her first… day now she's as quick and polite and beautiful as ever. This clinic has changed my life for the better without a doubt and for that I am forever in the debt of those who played a role, even the secretary Heather is freaking awesome. I’ve been told that this program is now only accepting Medicaid and Medicare. So that means if you get on this program, you cannot get a job. There is no bettering yourself on this program. They don’t accept any… personal insurance at all. What kind of message is that sending? If you don’t have Medicaid or Medicare, you have to have cash for them just like the dope man. These days Drugs are getting cheaper and cheaper so what do you think is going to happen to all the clients that have personal insurance? They will be kicked off and forced to go in use and possibly overdose. This has to be a violation of the code of ethics which you have to be in line with to be licensed by the state of Delaware to dispense methadone. I got on this program and got a job. Got a house got a car and now Medicaid won’t accept me because I make too much by $97 and now I’m gonna be forced to put myself in danger at losing my life to drug Or lose everything I have gained in recovery. This is insane I have never heard of a program that won’t accept insurance unless it’s Medicaid or Medicare. Especially when they have already accepted it and now they’re deciding six months down the road that they don’t want to. Sounds awful fishy to me.

I have been going here for a few years and have managed to get my life together and stay clean. This is the best option in the area if your looking to stay away from the bullcrap that goes on outside most of these… places…

Love my counselor and the staff at the front desk they remember who you are and don’t make you feel ashamed for your addiction. Heather in particular is so sweet she gives out stars and praises for those who do iop.… Things have really changed here as I have been here several different times over the years. Jon b who runs iop is amazing and makes it enjoyable. I literally went an hour out of my way at one point past multiple MATs to come here instead. You don’t have to worry about loitering people outside and long lines. And it’s also discrete.

This place has saved my life. My counselor Jamie has taught me so much about myself that has helped me be the best version of myself.. before her I had the worst anxiety driving, she worked with me thru it for months &… didn’t give up on me, I have her to thank for getting over my driving anxiety. she has helped me with my communication skills & how to have confidence. Jamie has always made me feel so comfortable, giving no judgement in what I have to say. She is so amazingly smart when it comes to how the brain works, I actually enjoy and look forward to my sessions. I could not imagine my life without my counselor jamie. she has no idea how much she has helped me. I cherish my relationship with her. if you are looking for a great counselor- ask for jamie! The nurses are also great, i love kerry. she has helped me so much with my tapering & doses. This place just wants you to succeed! would recommend to anyone struggling with addiction!

I have been going to this clinic for a while and of course every clinic has things that drive me crazy. But I can honestly say my counselor Jamie Basara truly care about me wellbeing ,my Recovery. For once in my life, I… don’t feel as though I am putting in a category with everyone else. My counselor has individualized me and helped me with my problems. I couldn’t ask for more and the nursing staff, Miss Hattie, and Miss Carrie are phenomenal. Miss Carrie takes it out of her day to make sure I’m OK even if The medical reason has nothing to do with my medication. She’s a loving and caring person that seems to always put a smile on my face on my days are rough. I can’t forget about Mrs. Heather at the front desk she is a woman with a very large heart and cares about my recovery Here

I think this place is awesome. Especially nurse KARI and HATTIE. I love waking up every morning and enjoying my ride to the meth clinic. 😉😉

Everyone is very friendly. Atmosphere is very comfortable. Great place to get the help you need.

Such a different facility compared to wilmington bci

Been going here for almost 6 yrs and yes alot of the positive reviews on here are true but as with MOST places like this one The bottom line and most important thing to them is the all mighty dollar. Nursing staff I… feel are the only ones who go out of their way and deserve 4 or 5 stars themselves.

They treat you like a person rather than making you feel judged. Plenty of options and communication is always open with a willingness to listen. They care and it shows. Unlike some other places that make you feel like… you're a bother. It's much appreciated the way they care about your recovery and help you with all areas of your life.

Went today for intake was done within 2 hours very friendly nurses awesome counselor doctor was nice to

I’ve guessed dosed here multiple times since 2015 or so. My family has a summer home near by. They are by far the best methadone maintenance facility I’ve ever dealt with. The staff, the overall atmosphere of the place… and how discreet they are is great! I’ll end it on this note: I only wish I lived around here year round so AMS of Delaware could be my home clinic! Thanks for your services AMS!!

Best clinic I've ever been to. The staff is awesome the nurses are as well and it seems that they actually care about the well being of all who walk through the door. I was guest dosing from Pittsburgh and they made me… feel welcome. I will actually be seeing them again next month. Going back for labor day weekend. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is guest dosing. Thank you ams and I'll see you guys soon ☺️

Went there for 5 years, transferred to another clinic they owe me and my wife over $300 ea, since we pay off months at a time, its been 25 days and still no refund, also i received a print out of all my payments for the… year and found out they were over charging us and owe us an additional $30-$40 ea, the director told me she wasnt going to do anything about it, it is what it is and hung up on me,thank god i recorded phone conversation and now am seeking a lawyer

Most of the employees are nice and helpful. Dont expect them to work with you financially though. I'm divorced and my sons mother nodded out and got into an accident while returning my son to me. (I have custody). Due… to this incident I missed work because I was in and out of the hospital/ family court. So now I have an negative balance and they have started tapering me even though I talked to manager and told her when I could pay and that it something completely out of my control. You guys are supposed to help people not make them have to use so that they can go to work and keep paying you because someone else screwed up. And yes recovery is responsibility that's why I talked to you and stated when I could pay in full. I'm responsible for my bill and would be paying it once my son is safe and I can continue working 40+ hours a week. Until then I cant make money appear. I never asked you to write off the balance or anything similar. Dont try to say this is due to me being irresponsible it's actually the exact opposite. And thru all this nobody has even asked if my 5 year old son is ok. Just when can I pay. And I see you guys are waiving past balances for returning "customers" in October and November. But you cant help someone who is currently doing well?

The staff is very nice,they are fast, the counselor is great (Jenna) very few issues and any I did have any place could have, just minor and quickly fixed..bing a lockbox, you must return empty take home bottles, they… do call backs, and follow the rules you'll be fine
