Wow wish I had seen the reviews before Sherry refused to fill out my work accommodation request paperwork which was to help alleviate mental health symptoms. She said it was “outside her purview “ it’s a request because… of mental health she is my mental health provider I’m Appalled she refused to do it.

Cheryl isnt much of a help and lets her personal beleife on things dictate how she goes about treating you. She will change her mind on medications she prescribes you. She dosent work with you she just dictates how its… going to be. I reccomend checking out places in the valley and doing it via telehealth and a rare in person visit than dealing with Southwest or Polera here.

This company is super dishonest. They told me my insurance wouldn’t be paying for appointments anymore. Then within a week then recanted saying they could bill the insurance. After I paid for all the remaining visits I… had scheduled. Just under $300.00. I was told I would be getting a refund. That was almost three months ago now. I’ve provided proof of payment their original receipt and nothing. I even filed a dispute with the card holder which somehow they fought and won? I still don’t have my money but they are for sure charging my insurance. Oh yes the real kicker is I don’t have a choice about going here. They are contracted with the state.

Cheryl, goes by Sherry, is absolutely HORRIBLE. I saw her three times and each time she refused to give me my medications that I’ve been taking for years. I’m switching back to my old place after spending months trying… to get my medication from her. She treated me like I was a drug addict and acted like I’m stupid. I am a 22 year old nursing student who has been having panic attacks since I was 10 years old. My panic attacks have been so severe that I’ve had to go to the hospital to get shots of ativan that would STILL take 30 minutes to get me to calm down because my panic attacks were so bad. I have SEVERE anxiety and the only thing that stopped these hospital trips was when I was prescribed xanax a few years ago. I only take about one or two a month. Sometimes I even go months at a time without taking any at all. Very clearly not an addict. She wouldn’t even give me my ADHD meds, concerta. She built absolutely no trust with me and I have never felt so insecure or uncomfortable with a health care professional in my life. Absolutely horrible woman who lacks any empathy. She should not be in the health care field. I left every appointment with her crying because I felt so embarrassed. DONT GO HERE! Go to Polara Health where they will treat you like a human.

Fran was no help for my nephew very rude and unprofessional. Told him he could use his insurance two months later she said no he couldn’t . He called back ask to speak to her boss and no one return his call that’s sad.… Southwest behavior does not care about people only $$$$$$. Plenty of other healthcare services in PV this would be my last choice BEWARE people. Wonder how places like this stay in business.

I would not recommend this place for any level of importance regarding Mental Care. First appointment (scheduled for 2 hours) was sitting in a room with an intake person for 45mins being asked the most basic possible… questions, about one question per 3-5 minutes, unbelievably slow. Felt like a massive waste of time, and I never spoke to a professional during that intake appointment. Appointment didn’t even last an hour. Second appointment, also scheduled for 2 hours, I was told I would be seeing my psychiatrist named “Dr. Z” and “everyone here loves him”, I had high hopes. - I show up for my appointment, get walked into a room that has nothing but a chair, a TV, and a webcam, THIS is my appointment. After explaining to the person on the TV about how my anxiety and panic has completely ruined my life, I get prescribed a medication within 10 minutes with zero elaboration or instruction and sent o n my way, with the standard “see you in two weeks”. It felt very dystopian, simultaneously systematic and inattentive as if I was just a part on a conveyor belt out the door. Best yet, the doctor on the screen commented “well they didn’t really give me much information on you” and proceeded to ask the exact same questions that I answered in my intake appointment, in 5 mins flat instead of the 45 previously haha! This proved my impression of the first appointment being a waste of everyone’s time. After the nearly impossible to hear TV appointment, I went to the desk and asked to see someone in person for my return. I was informed there is one single psychiatrist on staff who is in house, and they are extremely booked and leave early. - What is this place? Given that the doctor made no effort to elaborate on the medication he prescribed, it’s possible side effects, drug interactions, or what it should do, I have spent the last 2 days researching it. As it turns out, the medication I was prescribed conflicts with an existing medical condition that I currently have (and made clear both during intake and my appointment with the screen). All in all, I was given the bare minimum attention and care, had hours wasted due to improper scheduling, all to walk away with a medication that could have resulted dangerously for me. I’ve waited two months for this appointment, counting every day that passed, as I’m unable to function in the real world due to my mental issues at this point, and I received no help here. I continue down the same path as when I started, looking for a facility that offers even the most basic level of competent care, care that was abundant elsewhere before I moved. I regret wasting 2-3 months of my life just to be prescribed the wrong medication by a guy on a screen. I will most certainly be informing my insurance of this situation aswell. I’m not an angry person and I went into this hoping for the best, I don’t leave negative reviews ever, but this practice seems like it may end dangerously for those who need urgent care, given what I have seen I feel a sense of duty to elaborate my experiences and provide a warning for the current state of practice found in this office. I just want to live again…. Why is getting decent help so hard? Would not recommend.

The staff is amazing and all very sweet but Dr. Z is the worst psychiatrist. He is very rude, unemphatic, and is almost always late. I was kicked out of his office for saying he could as his questions.
