My experience was p*** poor. I am level 1 autistic, formerly Asperger’s. I am hard of hearing with certain frequencies and very sensitive to loud noises. I spent $800 on my iPhone and AirPods Pro 3 in order to be able… to hear my own voice (which I can’t). I begged and pleaded with them to allow an accommodation for me to be able to have my cell phone and air pods. I even offered to take the SIM card out and completely reset my iPhone so there is no chance I could possibly go online with it. The director and clinical staff completely refused to accommodate my needs and only offered to allow my to solely have the air pods and not my cell phone. Some of the feature work without the phone such as noise cancellation but the featured I need such as voice amplification DO NOT WORK when the phone is not connected to the AirPods. THEY WOULD NOT GET THIS THROUGH THEIR THICK SKULLS AND QUITE FRANKLY IT MUST’VE BEEN DISCRIMINATION BECAUSE THEY WERE COMPLETELY UNWILLING TO WORK WITH ME ABOUT THIS. I received numerous complaints about talking too loud and yelling at people, and they would not accommodate me by allowing me to have my cell phone along with my AirPods in order to not yell, which is what I was accused of at least a dozen times.

Wonderful place, the staff is mostly great, and I definitely learned a lot and have the tools I needed to succeed!

AVENUES in Dublin was a life changer! Not only did they help me understand my alcoholism, they helped me mentally and truly cared. The staff were honest and helpful in so many ways. The staff is amazing. The food is good i gained about 15 pounds. The community here is amazing. If you are looking for a great place to start your recovery. I recommend avenues Dublin

Avenues recovery is truly something special. I went there from jail and just getting out of an abusive relationship amongst trying to get clean off alcohol. I was broken, scared, lost. But because of that place I left… with confidence. An inner self love. The staff truly care. You're not just a number. They literally love each client back to life. Day by day I was able to come out of my shell and they met me with encouragement each and every step of the way. They have programming that is relatable. And they will take the time to meet you where you're at. I struggle with mental health as well as addiction and the way they blended the two types of care together is like no other treatment I've ever gotten before. If you really need to hit the reset button and find a new way of doing things and be loved and encouraged while you're doing it I highly recommend avenues. There is a place for everybody there. I didn't think sobriety was possible for me. But due to my experience I have a little over 6 months and I'm so happy. I got to mother my child sober. Take a shot at life, and other people can too. Avenues at Dublin was an amazing place to start my recovery. Every staff member was invested in my recovery and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. The counselors and case managers are truly helpful… and readily available. The group facilitators and BHTs have great insights and are right there with you in the community. The nursing staff were always present, friendly and made medications a breeze. The kitchen staff were also very helpful and made accommodations for people with dietary restrictions. The alumni cordinator does a great job at continuing the community and support during and after you leave. Lastly, the administrative staff were involved and took the time to know each client, which was amazing given how busy they are. The other half of the equation is the community and Avenues does a great job of creating a welcoming, safe and fun community. I had a great 60 days and would highly recommend Avenues at Dublin to anyone that was seeking help.

I can't say enough about avenues recovery. All the staff are amazing and really invested in the clients. There is a black out day of 7 days (technically 8 because they don't count the day you arrive) it is a dual… diagnosis program so they do focus on mental health and substance abuse. So thankfu

Dublin Avenues, I can honestly say that this place is a lifesaver. The staff are fantastic, but most of all it’s your Recovery peers that matter the most, and everybody Has this sense of Camaraderie that is magical.… It’s more of a family that you’re recovering with than strangers. When you finish the program, they’re still there for you. It will change your life.

In September of 2025 I voluntarily admitted myself to a 60 day residential treatment program at Avenues in Dublin, NH for treatment for alcoholism. I successfully completed the program and have remained sober since (as… of August 2026). I entered the program at the recommendation of many family members after struggling for years to control my drinking on my own and not being able to successfully stop long term. I thought rehab was an absolutely ridiculous suggestion and was extreme help I did not need. My anxiety from drinking had become so bad it was nearly debilitating. I felt hopeless and lost in many ways that did not make sense to me. I had always liked to drink, that was never a secret. However towards the end of my alcoholism I was hiding so much of my daily drinking no one in my life knew how bad I was actually struggling and the shame and guilt of it all left me trapped in a brutal cycle of addiction. My first day at Avenues I was lucky enough to meet the most humble and understanding group of people that have since changed the entire direction of my life. Not a single person in the recovery has ever judged me at all. The philosophy to ‘meet people where they are’ helped me to understand we are all human, we all deserve help when we are struggling and no one deserves to suffer in silence. I had complete control of my treatment program and was able to focus on areas I recognized I needed the most help in. My children were 2.5 years old and & 4.5 months old when I entered treatment. I used my time at Avenues’s to learn everything I possibly could about the disease model of addiction, learn from everyone around me and build positive connections with people who valued their recovery the same I do mine. Since completing treatment I have remained active with Avenues alumni program. The alumni group has by far been my greatest asset in remaining sober outside of treatment. After 20+ years of completely out of control drinking I finally have NO anxiety, NO depression, NO desire to drink. I absolutely would not be successful in my sobriety without all of the help I got from Avenues. They truly are magical. Myself & my family will forever be grateful they helped me find my way home. ❤️

I had a great experience at Avenues in Dublin. The staff and the clients were so helpful, knowledgeable and they cared so much about helping others. It was truly a great community to be apart of. Little did I know the… 30 days that I spent there would be life changing in many many ways. The tools that I learned, the network/family that I have gained are priceless along with sobriety! Thankful to have my life back!

I had a mostly positive experience at avenues , however the food was garbage , some of the techs definitely seemed to not like their job(not everyone in recovery should work in recovery) I sensed a lot of weird and… stuffy energy from only like two of the techs , the rest were awesome , major shout out to Will, Chelsea , Reilly , Steve and the Australian woman who worked overnights , they were awesome and made my stay there a lot better , the facilities weren’t the greatest either which isn’t a huge concern but is worth noting , I like that they have a relaxed policy about what you’re able to bring in there , having my art supplies, mp3 player and books helped a lot , I especially liked the weekly check in with the group and counselor and the weekly individual hour session , I would most definitely recommend avenues to anyone seeking sobriety !

Dublin is beyond a 5 star! I was treated as a person and not a number, meaning the entire staff knew your name, the administrative staff would talk to you in passing, which showed genuine interest in those in… rehabilitation. The structure and daily group sessions were far above what I've seen on my other two rehabs. What really makes this the best of the best is their Alumni Program allowing connection after you leave Dublin, or Concord. All clients are enrolled into Avenues Alumni Facebook private group. This is where post rehab really gets going, the weekly zoom meetings and in person meetings are awesome, and a huge part of continued recovery. Avenues Alumni are also offered many events to attend at no cost, and believe me, they set up amazing events. Alumni connect and help one another. Lastly if it weren't for the Alumni Coordinator's , Ashley (Dublin), Beth (Concord) and Steve (Dublin, now in NC) there would be no Alumni, Meetings, Events and Connections! 150% recommend!

This place is truely phenomenal, the program is by far the best in the state the ,the staff is amazing and the facility was clean and safe and I recommend avenues all the way! UPDATE!!!! 8//11/2026 ,AUGUST 24TH will be… a year clean and serene I'm thankful for avenues in Dublin New Hampshire I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for them they don't treat you like a client they treat you like you as a person they get to know you they get to know what you want you need they give you the ability to sit with self make plans for a lifetime of happiness so very grateful for the staff and it's not just me that this worked for I have numerous people that I graduated with or around the same time that are right along with me that just hit a year or more they're definitely doing something right I recommend avenues if you're struggling they got you

My name is Andrew and I spent a month at Avenues in Dublin this past October. I am still clean and sober at the time I am writing this; marking about 10 months of recovery, my longest stint to date by a significant… margin. I started seriously trying to overcome my addiction about 3 or 4 years ago. I have been to a couple other facilities on 4 separate occasions which were pretty good themselves, but my experience at Avenues was different. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was a certain vibe while I was there that was palpable. Even having spent time at other places it can still be a little nerve wracking to try again at an unfamiliar place. However, my nerves were quickly dispelled once I got there. The staff and clients were kind and inviting from the get go and throughout my stay. I've had positive experiences elsewhere but to me it seemed like the people in Dublin really wanted to be there and had a genuine passion for helping others achieve recovery. The program is very focused on promoting a community both inside and outside of treatment, teaching the skills needed to achieve and maintain recovery, and keeping the clients engaged and motivated throughout their stay and beyond. They also encourage various client-driven activities; while I was there we organized a chess tournament, a couple of cornhole tournaments, weekly talent shows (mostly karaoke but I saw some cool stuff too, it's a lot more fun than it sounds, trust me) and going for group walks when the weather was nice. They also do special things on holidays and such so that you don't feel like you're missing out. The two biggest standouts about Avenues to me were my counselor and the alumni program. Firstly I would be remiss not to give a big shout out to my counselor Rielley. Even though you get limited opportunities to see counselors in these types of programs, having the right one can absolutely have a profound impact. I immediately felt a connection to Rielley and she really went above and beyond to support me and my fellow clients. I told her point blank how impressed I was and I wished I could keep her as my therapist. The other great thing for me has been the alumni program. I have had similar opportunities at other programs but I never felt like I had the connection or motivation to participate like I have with Avenues. I stayed in touch with some of the people I met at Avenues and the alumni program is a great way to stay connected, be active and meet new people in the recovery community. They have weekly meetings via zoom or live in Concord and organize lots of great events. I just recently joined them on a whale watch and it was a wonderful, memorable experience. Overall I have to say that getting clean and sober and figuring out recovery is among the hardest things that anyone can do in life. For many of us it's a matter of life or death, and enjoying any amount of recovery is both a miraculous and life-changing event. Although I would definitely say the other places I've been to helped me start to dive into recovery and achieve some sober time, Avenues has definitely made the biggest impact and afforded me my longest reprieve yet from my addiction. I am keenly aware that recovery is a lifelong journey and these programs ultimately do little more than open the door for you and help you step through it, but I attribute my positive experience during my stay and my continued connection to the program with my success thus far. Everyone figures this stuff out in their own time, and it is very common for people to relapse and go back to treatment multiple times as I have. But I cannot overstate how worth it it is to give it your best shot and don't permit yourself to give up when you make mistakes. I would 100% recommend Avenues at Dublin to anyone who is struggling with addiction and wants to improve their lives. It is nearly impossible to get it on your own or through AA alone; I fully believe a stay at an inpatient facility is the most effective option for jumpstarting your recovery. Avenues in Dublin saved my life, I was drinking myself to death and the community and staff there showed me a new way of life. I found that joy and loving my life were possible in a sober life after being there. This recovery center was so good I didn't want to leave 😅 but for real I've never been in a facility that shows so much care for all of their clients and the sense of community is great, I loved the counselor they… paired me with, I was there june/july and it honestly felt like I was at an adult summer camp but for addicts 😆 the campus is quite large and surrounded by nature, it felt good to disconnect from technology for a bit and if you work the program it'll definitely help you. I originally wanted to just go for a 2 week detox but ended up staying 30 days (by my own choice) and I'm so glad I did. And it's not all just sitting in boring groups all day or being stuck in a building and not be allowed to go outside like other places I've been. Clients get a lot of time to be outside and just hang out and do fun things between/after groups. The center also plans fun things for clients to do on holidays and stuff so that we can learn to enjoy things and have fun without substances. I honestly couldn't recommend a better place to start your recovery journey. I felt like a whole new person when I left for the next step down in my care.

Avenues at Dublin changed/saved my life plain and simple. I threw everything but the kitchen sink at sobriety and nothing worked until I landed in Dublin. 28 days for quite literally a second chance at life.
