About BAART Behavioral Health Services – Montpelier

BAART Behavioral Health Services operates from 617 Comstock Road in Montpelier. The site sits in Washington County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Barre, East Montpelier and Graniteville. Vermont draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Detox and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at BAART Behavioral Health Services

Withdrawal management covers opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Stepping down into continuing care happens with the same team, so there is no second intake to sit through. What a first week looks like differs between providers more than the level of care name suggests.

Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

BAART Behavioral Health Services Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 617 Comstock Road, Montpelier, VT 05602, in Washington County. The catchment reaches Barre, East Montpelier and Graniteville. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

From the Doc to the receptionists to the Nurses it's apparent that everyone cares for the clients that walk into BAART from day one. There is no judgment, it is a very comfortable and professional place to be. I was… very uneasy about beginning MAT Meds but I was instantly made to feel like everything was ok and they hi put my mind at ease.

If I Was To Express My Opinion The 1st Starting The BAART Program I Can’t Say It Would Be The Way I Feel Today, I Left The Program(2018) As I Felt I Wasn’t Being Heard,Wanted To Decrease. Since Being Back This Time I… Have Overcome Many Challenges,Went From Negative Self Doubting To Positive & Seizing Every Moment & Possibility,I’ve Made This Progress Not On My Own Where I Didn’t Utilize The Benefits That Comes From The Program/Counseling, The Nurses Are Amazing,Jen & Megan Have Helped Me By Being Patient While I Have Asked A Crazy Amount Of Questions Weather It Was About My Treatment Medication Or Questions About Random Medical Things, Knowing That The Staff Is There & Willing To Help In Any Way They Can,If Unsure or Unable To Help They Reach Out To Someone Who Can,But They Don’t Just Hand You Off To Another,They Check In With You After. If Your Wanting To Get Clean,Live A Sober Life… You Want To Make Them Changes & Unsure Where To Start BAART in Berlin Is The Best Option From The List! Challenge Yourself Today Call BAART Program

I just went to the clinic today. RCT did not pick me up as I forgot to call the day before before the trip for covid questions by noon the day before the rides you set up a month in advance. I go every 2 weeks a buddy… drove me today but the medicaid volunteer driver .56 cents a mile gig is a good job for people on ssi or ssdi as it is a stipend, however we have a shortage of drivers. Anyway in and out with a birthday card in about 60 seconds the lads that brought me go to St Johnsbury couldn't believe no one was there in line. The volunteer drivers bring them at 4:45 am they are picking people up it's packed in the am no line 9:30 to 10:30 on a Friday. Best and quickest clinic I have attended. The parent company is a nightmare out of Frisco. Bay Area Rapid Treatment like Bay Area Rapid Transit. Anyhow A. C. Carleton wrote an expose on the evil Bart company the mobbed up methadone providers. 105 a week for .50 worth of meds with really bad phone counseling. However my situation is great we treat each other with mutual respect.

I walk over four and a half miles to sine up for the methadone program signed good knows who much paper work the concealer even asked what are you here to be on I said methadone I see that doctor he tried to prescribe… me but no offense but it's everywhere today I don't have motivation to go way up their and get something I can pretty much get next door without going out of my way and being suppervised over something thats just as easy as pot to get it bs I can up for addiction and anyone who knows me I don't ask for help. But I'll try to be strong and figure it out myself thanks.i just had surgery two and a half weeks ago and been doing opiots for a while trying to get help but obviously not a program for me. I also tried to call the counselor they assigned me and never called me back to help me or solve the problem.i knew alot of people up there and they even questioned the Suboxone like I wanted it and I know alot of people up there.

Great staff, that care about people who are in need of help with recovery from many types of addictions. I personally do not go here but I give a ride to a friend and they are most definitely doing so well thanks to the… help of this Hub. Addiction is such an epidemic that places like this are wonderful and our government should imply more options like this hub to people in need of assistance with there personal recovery process.
