BayCare Behavioral Health – Dade City Detox and Rehab Services

BayCare Behavioral Health – Dade City appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

BayCare Behavioral Health – Dade City Address, Location and Contact Information

14527 7th Street, Dade City, Florida, 33523 is the address held. The city lies within Pasco County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

This place has helped me in ways I will forever be thankful for. Anytime I call the women at the front desk answer promptly and are incredibly helpful. They are just as nice and helpful in person as well. The security… guard always has a smile on his face and definitely brings a strong sense of safety in the building. Latiere Wallace is a smart caring kind woman who listens and offers multiple possible solutions. She never tries to rush me out of her office and she always makes me feel valid and understood. I really appreciate her and everyone else here. Schena in the pharmacy is another incredibly kind woman who gives courtesy calls when I am due for a refill on my prescription. Very low cost professional mental help. You get what you give of this place and as long as you are respectful to the staff they are the kindest most compassionate group of people. Sometimes the lobby can be a bit rowdy but it’s important to keep in mind everyone is either there for help or there to help. Thank you Baycare.

The worst office visit that I have ever had at 66 years old. I asked if she could help me at least 6 times. She couldn’t answer. I walked out. Unreal, why waste my time. BayCare is better than this. Get rid of her.!

Terrible place, un organized and makes you stress even more. Kate especially doesn’t do her job right. Very strange place wouldn’t recommend. Staff doesn’t know how to do their job properly. Do better.

Do your self and your sanity a favor and run from this place. I was seeing nurse practitioner Sarah Yankey for 7 months. In that time she has told me that I have several disorders that affect my ability to work. The… issue is she is inept and cannot complete patient work ups correctly. She will not assist me in correcting her errors or fill out paperwork that my insurance company, and disability need. In fact they will not fill out any needed paperwork to help her patients. I have had multiple breaking point issues with her and baycare and will be filing paperwork against her with the state. Run away from this place. The negative reviews are all true. For a mental health provider she does more harm than good. I went in to this office in a crisis and was told by both Sarah and her nurse Candice that they would correct the errors in my paperwork only to be called back by her boss Dr Jackson and he basically said kick rocks. Response to owner. I have already filled out your form and one with the Florida Department of Health Update: if you file a complaint against a doctor this location will discharge you as a patient without notification no matter what you are going through. You could be in crisis. You could need help. This place doesn't care. They have no problem taking payments. They just will throw you to the wolves.

I’m not a patient, I bring family members here, so this is a caregiver’s perspective. Both patients I bring express that they’ve connected well with their therapist and Dr. They are benefiting from services, which are… offered on a sliding scale for those without insurance. May be $0 for people with no income and no insurance. I’m grateful these services are available in our community!! If I ever need to, I will go here. And Heather, (front office) you are always so kind and so helpful. We appreciate you so much!

AVOID LATIERE WALLACE!!! Horrible provider with zero empathy, no logic to her explanations and wants to throw her credentials at you when she realizes she makes zero sense. They will tell you they have no time for you… and she will specifically hang up on you when she's done with the conversation. DO NOT RECOMMEND especially if you need mental health help. For a professional in mental health, so sure knows how to create mental health issues in others.

After taking my primary care’s advice and switching my mental health Dr to one at BayCare I can honestly say I wish I hadn’t. When I called to be placed with a provider the call center paired me with a facility almost… 20miles away from me when there is one not 5miles up the road. When I am at my appointment the facility treats me like I am a criminal and makes me jump through hoops just to have my medications refilled. When trying to reschedule my next appointment I requested a tele-health visit since the facility is 20 miles away. The person on the phone relays that I will need to wait for the Dr/ARNP to approve. When I get a notification about my visit I call back. I am now told I need to wait till tomorrow to call back and confirm. If not then I will have to cancel and reschedule outside of the cancellation period. For a facility that is supposed to help support those with mental illness it only promotes anxiety and stress when having to schedule appointments with all of their rules and procedures.

Do not bring your children here. Poor communication. You never get clear answers over the phone. They never document the accounts when you call in. I was called a liar today for simply explaining what a representative… told me over the phone. You get transferred around to leave voicemails that no on calls you back about.

Abysmal scheduling. An entire office is run horribly. We don't have a problem with the doctors but the office staff never knows what's going on. Because of this, my daughter's medicine has lapsed which has caused a… massive issue.

I have been a patient for about a year now. Today is the end of that. Amy in the medication department is the most unprofessional Baycare employee I have ever dealt with. She is very confrontational and aggressive. I… called to get my meds refilled and she accused me of doctor shopping when in reality my prescription had been refilled by their office just a different provider because they couldn't get me an appointment until August. I then tell her that I need a medication refill and she says I will have to wait a week to get an appointment. Then she looks again and says I can be seen in two days. I said sure. I expressed to her that I was upset over this and I would be seeking another provider elsewhere after this appointment. She then rescinded the offer to give me an appointment became very aggressive and loud. I told her this was unprofessional and she was the rudest person I have ever dealt with at Baycare. SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! I cannot believe that she is still employed here when there are other complaints about her right here on google. Clearly she needs to find another job and not work with people who have anxiety already and then she adds to it by being aggressive, snarky, rude, and inconsiderate. I will not be returning and I wouldn't even recommend this office to my worst enemy.

I used to visit this facility for psychiatric care. I called in to restart that service and was told there weren't available appointments until January. This is a facility caring for people when mental health diagnoses,… a months long wait to get back on necessary medications is absolutely ridiculous. I am failing to understand how they can say they care about people's mental health and wellbeing when they are making them wait so long to be treated. My diagnoses may not kill me like a different sickness would, but they certainly make it more difficult than most to live day to day, and it shouldn't take literal months of waiting to get help from a doctor for it.

Was seen by Dr. E a few years back and she would raise her voice and after I asked her not to she said "If I Don't you won't understand what I'm saying". really irked my bones.

Laura Hardy was extremely rude to me after I told her I was very depressed and suicidal. She asked me what meds I was on. I told her antidepressants, mood stabilizers and when I told her I was on 1mg, ( as needed)of… klonopin, she interrupts me and says I don't give out klonopin. Miss Hardy said I needed to go to detox. I haven't even been on Klonopin for over a month. She was very rude, nasty and unprofessional. No wonder Bay Care has such a bad reputation. Hardy cut me off and told me to see a different doctor while I was on the verge of a breakdown. I think She is just a nurse practitioner with some sort of glorified psychology schooling. She also told me that the receptionist ( who scheduled our appointment ), didn't know what she what she was doing when the receptionist scheduled our phone appointment. The receptionist is a very sweet lady and did not deserve Laura Hardy's false accusations. Laura Hardy didn't even have my chart with her during our phone meeting.

The Dr missed my appointment resulting in me running out of 2 of my prescriptions. After leaving a message and got no reply I called 4 days later to be told they could only fill one.. That was 3 days ago and still no… meds called in. What an awful place

I see Jessica Faber APRN at the Dade City location and honestly I wish I could rate over 5 stars. Jessica has made me feel more secure and understanding of things I feel and she really understands what I say to her with… no judgment. Also Maaleka is awesome and so nice when I call; it’s nice to have a calming voice on the phone when I’m feeling low and just need to check in. They’ve helped so much already and I’ve only been seen a couple of times they are the best!
