We accidentally pulled into their parking lot. We were confronted by two people from two different sides. Yelling at us. The parking lot is not marked as a private lot, you do not cross any gates to get in, there are… three different entrances to the parking lot, all off of public roads. If this is how they treat people out in public, I can only imagine how they treat addicts detoxing behind closed doors.

I am so grateful for this place. It changed the trajectory of my life forever. The staff were very nice, the doctors and nurses on duty were amazing, especially the ones that stay on premise 24/7. I am grateful for my… therapist back then. The food was super excellent. The classes and therapy were very interactive and beneficial.

Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend people to try it out. Are there things they can improve upon? Absolutely!!! Is it worth going? Again Absolutely!!! There are some things that they get wrong, but… there are so many things that they get right? This is the place you go when you're hopelessful. Where does Hopeless and Hopeful meet? At Beach House. Ms. May, a few of the nurses, Theresa, Ms. Maureen, Shelly, Rebecca, Leo, Big Al, Jared, Billy, Ray, Heather, Karen, Whitney, Jeff, Jada, Lee, the other Lee, John, Anthony, Alice, Dr. Edward, Tyler, Jessica, Melissa, Anthony, Patrice, Xavier, Chastity, Ms V, Ms. Lonnie, Ms. Crystal....they all made a huge impact. There are no mistakes in God's universe. Do people make mistakes? Absolutely!!! How the hell do you think you end up at a place like Beach House? But if you're looking for a great place to gain your footing in a semi-controlled environment and practice the tools that that offer and take advantage of the opportunity, I highly recommend that you give them a call. Tell Julie I sent you *wink*

From intake until discharge the whole staff was attentive, caring, compassionate, and understanding . This time around what made the difference for me actually allowing my therapist Kamla to work her magic. Her… specialty is trauma. And I must tell you, she knows what she is doing. After so many years of me carrying all that garbage with me. Within a few sessions with her, is was all gone. No longer did I have all the extra weight holding me down. Thank you Kamla for working your magic with me. You are a big part of the person I am becoming. I am forever grateful. You have a place in my heart forevermore.. God bless you!!

One thing I have learned is to look at the 1 star reviews, these are the ones telling truth 90% of the time and nist likely will adress real peoples concerns. So... My daughter was there about 3 months ago and all I… know is that she was taken to the ER and noone communicated with me to let me know anything about her. I find out later, this place was holding her against her Will for three days after clearly expressed she did not want to continue treatment in this place. She caught the flu due to the fact that there was only COLD freezing water to shower and the facilities were poorly mantained and lacked proper hygiene. I would suggest you go first and check out this place before you make this important life decision. A grieving report has been filed at the sate level for further investigation. #realmomconcerns

Based on my experience, I would recommend this type of treatment center only if you are homeless, have nowhere else to go, and have no other options available to you. Otherwise, I would strongly encourage you to… consider other alternatives. These types of centers are simply not designed for everyone. Drugs can still be found in these environments, so ultimately, recovery depends heavily on the individual’s commitment and willingness to stay clean. However, what concerns me most is the environment itself. The experience can feel being in constant edge, more like being in jail or in an acute mental hospital than being in a place focused on healing and recovery. Patients may feel restricted, controlled, and as though they have very little freedom or say in their own treatment. For someone who is genuinely trying to rebuild their life, that kind of environment can be discouraging rather than supportive. Please read and know your PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS. i.e. A nurse called, Mrs. Cheryl, threaten me to call the police instead of calling 911 as my blood pressute was 220/120 and heart rate was 114. I thought I was gonna literally die that night as the staff took 45 mins before calling 911. After this incident, I decided to leave this place, for obvious reasons, and they took 3 days to release me, give my cellphone and my wallet back. UNACCEPTABLE.

I came to Beach House Recovery from South Louisiana, during the darkest and hardest time of my life. Helpless , hopeless, and no light in sight. My personal experience: This place welcomed me with open arms when I… arrived at 11pm and all of the staff and techs and therapist were always very helpful and I did feel they truly cared. They showed me what healing and recovery truly is. With a clean and beautiful campusc great food, and awesome amenities such as a pool, pickleball, basketball court, and a nice workout room. I was able to not only heal physically but mentally and emotionally. It took a few days to settle in but I made a great group of friends who were serious about recovery and healing. The treatment was very educational and eye opening. This place and the program saved my life and I will forever be grateful for Beach House Recovery and their staff and Drs and nurses and the lifetime long friends in sobriety I met there ♻️✌️

I honestly don’t know where I would be today without Beach House’s amazing alumni coordinator, Heather. If it wasn’t for her, I truly don’t think I would have ever come back to Beach House when I needed help the most.… She believed in me, encouraged me, and reminded me that my story wasn’t over, even when I couldn’t see that for myself. She has taught me so much about what it truly means to stay sober, to take recovery seriously, and to keep showing up even on the hard days. More than that, she has helped bring me closer to God and shown me how much faith can play a role in recovery and in everyday life. She helped me to understand the vital importance of a 12 step program and a Higher power and that IS THE ONLY reason I am still sober today. The impact she has had on me goes far beyond her job title — she has genuinely helped change the direction of my life. Beach House will always hold a special place in my heart, but having someone like her there made all the difference. I will forever be grateful for her, for everything she has taught me, and for the role she played in helping me find my way back to recovery and closer to God. ❤️

If you’re ready to turn your life around, look no further than Beach House. Plain and simple, without this place and their team, I wouldn't be here today. The staff genuinely cares. They treat you like a human being… and work with you through every step of whatever you're going through. On top of that, the center is clean, comfortable, loaded with great amenities, and the food was top-tier. I’ve sent both friends and family through their doors since my stay, and we are ALL still sober today. That speaks volumes about what they do. Even years later, you aren't forgotten—their alumni team frequently reaches out to check in and remind you that you always have support. Four years sober and I still love staying connected with them. They truly become part of your journey and feel like family. 10/10 recommend. If you're on the fence, make the call—it will change your life.

I spent 28 days at Beach House and it saved my life. The staff was incredible and the daily groups, structure and my therapist helped immensely. I was able to focus on my recovery not just from alcohol but from… codependency and my spouse’s infidelity. I highly recommend Beach House to anyone that is looking for a safe, supportive, and knowledgeable treatment center.

The simplest way to say this is Beach House saved my life. From the intake process, they showed me so much love and compassion. I felt safe at home as soon as I walked in the doors the Medical staff was so knowledgeable… and compassionate. From the moment I got to Beach House all of the staff treated me with a love and respect I had been longing for for so long. The food is amazing personally for me. The biggest blessing at Beach House was their faith in recovery program, which offered me a safe place to learn the word of God and how to apply it to my life, and I had the opportunity to enjoy this program six days a week. Pages about all the wonderful things that Beach House offers I suggest you go there and experience those things for yourself

Beach House Recovery will always hold a special place in my heart. I truly hope the staff knows that It’s where I was given the opportunity to start over and begin building a better life. I completed both the… residential program and PHP, and throughout my time there I was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about my recovery. The staff were compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I also formed friendships with staff and fellow alumni that have lasted well beyond treatment. The program gave me structure, accountability, and hope. The facility was clean, the food was excellent, and every part of the experience showed that they truly care about the people who walk through their doors. I’m incredibly grateful for everything Beach House Recovery has done for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a place where recovery is taken seriously and people are treated with dignity and respect. Out of all the positive changes I’ve been able to make in my new life choosing Beach House was the smartest one!

Anthony, the director of housing, was incredible. He went above and beyond to make a very uncomfortable situation comfortable. It is clear that one of his main priorities is safety and makes the possibility of recovery… tangible. Wouldn’t have made it through without him making sure that everyone felt heard. I got to see him stand up for what he knew was right, great person running an amazing program

On March 23rd, 2022 I traveled to Beach House to begin my journey. I was 23 years old. A few days before this I had gotten arrested for my third DUI in 3 months. This was my 4th DUI because I had previously gotten one… when I was 20. My lawyer told me I needed to go to rehab ASAP. On the way there, I wasn’t sure what to expect, or what my plan was, I was depressed. At first my motivation was to go all in and make it seem like I wanted to get sober for court, but in the process of doing this, I slowly realized this is what I wanted for myself. So I dove all in. I wrote pages and pages a day in a journal about every single emotion I was feelings. I read the big book every night before sleeping and throughout the day. I attended my classes and AA every night. Fast forward to today, I’m 4 years sober with a great job, a wife, 2 kids, a dog, 2 cats and a house. My relationships are strong. Life is beautiful. Beach House receives my 5 stars because that’s where it began, but ultimately it’s up to you. There were things about beach house that I wasn’t big on, specifically the rats in PhP and IOP… yuck. But those things didn’t distract me from my ultimate goal. Not many rehabs where you will get this care and support. 3 good meals a day, therapy, 3 daily classes, and a meeting every night. You get to wake up and watch the sunrise on the beach. Resources left and right to help. Chiropractors, doctors, nurses, techs.. you name it, it’s available. Sure it’s not perfect, but overall, it’s a wonderful place to make a spiritual change. Residential is phenomenal, the first 30-40 days there is where you get the most care and where you build a foundation for your recovery. PHP offers a little more freedom but still the right amount of structure. IOP is a lot more freedom while still being held accountable while you plot your next steps in recovery once you are officially graduated from the program. I highly recommend sticking it out through all three stages. If I just did residential, I’m not so sure I would be sober today.
