Beachside Detox – West Palm Beach

Beachside was a wonderful experience. I'd recommend Beachside to anyone.

I recently stayed at Beachside and will say that my experience was overwhelmingly positive. I give the facility credit for amenities, available services (e.g. yoga, reiki, sound therapy, breathing therapy, AA, etc.),… the nursing (unmatched - incredible) and “tech” personnel in addition to the vast majority of therapists and case managers. I felt supported and feel confident in my post-residential plan to continue my recovery (after 30 days on-site.) As with everything, there are opportunities - for residential Clients, there are not opportunities for equestrian therapy, outdoor yoga or kayaking. (You will stay on “campus” for the full duration of your residential stay.) There are also no individualized, chef-prepared meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner come directly off the back of a Sodexo truck. The lack of these did not, in anyway, hinder my recovery, but they may be important to other potential Clients and are included on the website. Communication from ‘administrators’ was also inconsistent and ineffective, however staff changes were in-process during my tenure. In sum, my time at Beachside allowed me to reset, learn and grow as an individual and leave with discrete next steps to ensure my continued recovery. Like anything, a stay at Beachside is what you make it - e.g. if you put in the work, the entire team will be supportive and go above and beyond to ensure you feel supported. I celebrated 33 days yesterday and give a tremendous amount of credit to the team at Beachside. I recommend. cmm

Beachside changed my life. This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had. I can’t put into words just how amazing my stay was I mean the facility is beautiful, comfortable, and soothing. The entire staff is… absolutely amazing at what they do. The therapists I saw— Marcos made such an huge impact on me and I’ll remember everything we processed together forever. Chris my trauma therapist had an amazing approach in getting me to unpack a lot in such a small period of time, Diana was absolutely amazing at what she does, and Brian was wonderful even if I didn’t spend that long with him he truly helped me a ton with some pretty heavy stuff. I mean all the techs Tyler, Mo, Rochelle, Billy, Brandon, and just overall everyone was a delight. The groups were so insightful and taught me enormously! The group facilitators were so educated in their field, the setting was so open and comfortable. Paritosh, Fran, Chris, Michael— I hold you all dear. I am a huge Paritosh fan I have to say, I appreciate him allowing me discussion time on the subjects the entire group, he is great. The back of the house staff keeping everything clean and comfortable, they’re THE MVP and kept this facility so beautiful. The activities were amazing!!! Jason up keeping the place as well, he’s the man! Ok, Bob the Builder! You’re awesome! Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for the admin staff, Lillin, Cali, Molly and everyone keeping the place running. Thank you for the life changing experience, thank you for creating this space to be open, vulnerable, to find myself again, to build amazing connections and to spend time grounding in nature. I am eternally grateful, I’ll never forget it. Thank you for all of the kindness. I miss everyone. I just finished my 30 day stay at beachside. The staff are all so friendly and handle things correctly. The food is okay & the classes are amazing. It isn’t what you think it would be. The only complaint I had was the… track being rocks and not pavement. Cali, Sarah the case manager & Iesha really helped me whip myself into shape. Eloise was amazing also. I want to thank everyone at beachside for helping me get back to me and reminding me I am worthy of a good life.

Beachside was the best!!! If you’re in need of help this is the place to come. It has changed my life. They have all the tools. The best thing you could ever do is walk through these doors. The staff and therapy are… absolutely on point and come hungry because they feed you well and give you all the tools to start your life over. Thank you beachside for changing and saving my life!!!

Beachside was a very comfortable, clean, and calming environment. The staff were friendly and the small client population made for friendships and companionship. The nursing staff were also friendly and efficient. The… food was good and options were offered at every meal. The single occupancy rooms were spacious and comfortable. The therapeutic sessions were informative and helpful. There were numerous leisure activities, as well. The intake process was lengthy and I urge the client to read the forms before signing. Beachside is worth looking into for residential rehab.

The staff is wonderful! From the Therapist to the medical staff to the chefs and beyond. I feel confident going home using the tools I have received in a safe and beautiful environment. I highly recommend Beachside to… anyone who is ready for a bright future!

This place is the nicest place it’s like you are here in a resort. The food is amazing the chefs are awesome . All of the employees that we work with are fabulous . I spent 30 days and have really learned a lot about my… mental illnesses and I am very grateful for the staff that works here. I was treated nothing but the best. They really make sure we as the patients are taken care of . The nurses and psychiatrist also make sure you are on the right meds and they have really taken good care of me.

I loved the Attention & Care I got at Beachside. The staff went over and beyond for me. I was very pleased with everything, and the property was absolutely breath taking. Also The groups and care I got from my Therapist… was A+! Chris was my Trauma Therapist and he was absolutely amazing. He used the NARM modality and it was super Beneficial! The Nurses really care and took their time explaining all the information I needed. I'm Truly blessed to have found this place. As someone who was in recovery for a very long time, I feel like this place really needs the recognition of being 5 Star Facility, and the food was delicious with a private chef, as well as having my own room was a big +! My only hiccup, was not having a new dryer and washer, so they need a new one. But It won't change my 5 star review! I loved the vibe at Beachside, clients were very nice too. Group and also individual services such as Massage(Lindsey💗) , Reiki - Olivia& sound bath with Jahmaal, as well as acupuncture from Maya. You will be very pleased to join a group of people who go over & beyond for you. Thank You to all the Staff at Beachside, you made it awesome!

The techs could use improvement but everything else was perfect.

Beachside Recovery Center is by far the best facility to go to for real recovery. I have been to several centers in South Florida and Beachside has been the only place that truly gave me the space to process my trauma,… gave me real skills to cope with and change the patterns in my life and gave me the safe place the practice them. I was matched with an amazing primary therapist, case manager and trauma therapist but every professional on their staff was exceptional. Every staff member-from each tech, kitchen member, maintenance person to housekeeper-was helpful, warm and kind. This has been and outstanding treatment experience and one I will certainly never forget!

Do you find yourself addled by intoxicants or bothersome manic or melancholic maladies of the mind? Look no further! Beachside Rehabilitation is your one-stop shop for heaping helpings of wholistic healing. There’s… plenty to do beside sitting poolside at Beachside! There’s a gym filled with equipment intended to simulate strenuous real world activities such as conveying ones goods from a vehicle to a domicile! The pickleball court is an excellent method of learning the preferred game of midwestern American baby-boomers! The staff are top-notch, though the nurses did seem befuddled when I inquired about leeches. They proved to be exceptionally adept at their trade, leeches or no. (Medicine sans leeches! What an age to live in!) I was skeptical of the psychogists at first, due the lack of proper phrenology equipment on site, but my worries were soon assuaged by their professionalism and candor. Besides, I’ve always resented being told I have the brainpan of a cretin. (Update: I have since been informed that phrenology is no longer recognized as a science by the Royal Society of Medicine. I say good riddance to it!) All of the staff and contractors proved to be courteous and generous regarding their time and efforts in order to assist the clients in any endeavor, though one must remember that several technicians harbor an intense phobia of small reptiles, so if you’ve a lizard or serpent related conundrum you must seek assistance elsewhere, or deal with the matter one’s self. Cali and Lillan were particularly helpful, especially in correcting melodic malfunctions. Unfortunately, the “computer” was prone to drifting towards ballads ostensibly intended for use in pursuing or engaging in the act of procreation. (“Computers" are clearly not to be trusted in such a setting!) In summation, I would whole-heartedly , and with no reservations , recommend Beachside Rehab to even my dearest friends and relations. I have been to rehabs previously, however Beachside was the first rehab where the 12 steps were not a mandated expectation. It was truly a holistic experience, offering sound therapy, reiki, massages, fitness activities… and more. The onsite gym, albeit small, offered dumbbells, treadmill, Peloton Bike, and a Nordic Row. I would have preferred if it included a few kettle bells, but overall the extent of the gym was more than I expected. The cafeteria was always clean and well stocked - the chefs were friendly and warm. Whether it was the salad bar or the amazing curated meals, or the classic cheeseburger - the food was never a source of concern for me. The entire staff was outstanding - from the Ops Manager Rasheed, down to every single BHT. House Keeping staff were muy bueno. Kitchen staff, therapists, recreational staff, I could go on and on with lists and praise. I have never felt so heard and so welcomed as I did by the Beachside employees. There were some inequities between the PHP and Residential program, but nothing that caused me any significant concern - just areas where I submitted suggestions to improve processes. I truly am thankful to Beachside for the serenity they provided while I was there and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a need for Mental Health or Substance Use Rehab.

Thanks to the care and support received at Beachside, our family member had an amazing experience and made real progress. We are beyond grateful for everything they did and would highly recommend Beachside to anyone… seeking help for themselves or a loved one.

My son who is struggling mightily with alcoholism has been to many rehabs only to relapse which all too often happens with this population and is no real reflection on the efficacy of the program but this time when he… relapsed after his time at BeachSide which he loved there was extensive and time consuming effort from many especially Callie to get him back on track. I've tried to not become cynical but it seems many rehabs are just as happy to fill a BED with the next person struggling with addiction than go to the hard work of helping a patient that has relapsed. In the end Beach Sides efforts and family love got him back into treatment where he is currently thriving. Thanks to all who were so supportive

From the very beginning, the staff made a difficult situation feel much more manageable and gave our… family peace of mind knowing our loved one was in good hands. Michael was compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions and guide our family every step of the way. His kindness and dedication truly made a huge difference during a stressful time. The facility is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and the level of care provided was outstanding. I am very grateful for all of the staff and services at Beachside. I felt safe and supported throughout my treatment journey at both their detox and residential program. All of the therapeutic services provided felt… personalized to my needs as a client, with an integrated approach of therapeutic and recreational activities. Beachside was truly a sanctuary that provided the necessary foundational support in my recovery journey.

Super nice facility, very nice staff and great community. Have both Mental health and substance abuse groups with great facilitator’s. Many amenities for your down time and great food. Definitely recommend!

Beachside is a supportive place that has done wonders for my recovery. My therapist was and is extraordinary. The nursing staff, technicians, and therapists care deeply about helping their clients, and it shows. The… holistic approach allowed me to explore new therapeutic activities and practices, and the activities director is simply the best. I highly recommend Beachside for those seeking help in recovery.

Beachside has such a wonderful team. Bryan the primary therapist is such an amazing guy and he truly saved my life. If I ever need treatment again, I’ll be heading right back here. Thank you for giving me hope again :)
