Beacon Behavioral Hospital – Bunkie Detox and Rehab Services

What Beacon Behavioral Hospital – Bunkie offers is detox and residential treatment. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. Ask what happens if the recommended level of care is not available immediately.

Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call. Confirm what a program covers before committing to it.

I was given a shot in which left my entire body spazzing and paralyzed for 3 days. When i crawled my way to the Nurses station on the 2nd day’s afternoon, I was laughed at by the nurses and told “nothing is wrong with… you.” Worst Experience and I have never felt the same simce being overdosed or having some sort of reaction to the medicine that was given to me. I was 18 Years Old. This happened in 2022. Have tried reaching out since and never can get through to anyone.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This place has the nicest team of staff. All the nurses CNAs, social workers, nurse practitioners were some of the kindest I’ve ever met. The entire staff deserves all the credit for… everything they do. You can tell right away how much they care. Thank you

worst experience ever. I was groped by another patient here who was supposed be being watch by a tech24/7. all we did was coloring pages, play cards, watch tv, eat and have smoke breaks. oh and let me not forget we took… our meds. didn’t really help. ps. i was 18.

Best mental hospital there is !!!! This place literally changed my life. The doctors are awesome , the staff is even better. The only thing that wasn't the best was the food. Besides that I have no complaints. Never… been to such an awesome place. Made me friends there for life. Not to mention the groups are awesome , there is plenty of stuff to do. Didnt even want to leave. So thankful for this place . highly recommend it to anyone needing help with there depression!

Having a number of family and friends that have gone there, I’m truly impressed with the out come. They are all doing well and are successful people in Society. I’m very grateful to the staff and to the not only for the… general care but the heart felt concern for them as individuals. If ever needed again, I would not have to think twice of where they would go.
