Bowen Health – Fort Wayne (1415 Directors Row) Detox and Rehab Services

Bowen Health – Fort Wayne (1415 Directors Row) is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Carolyn warner greer isn't a good person. She retaliates against the very person she's supposed to be helping. She was giving me a low dose of Ativan and my PCP raised it as he saw a need since I have stage 4 pancreatic… cancer. She has dropped me from level 4 to level 1 even though it's a 80 mile round trip for me. When I told my PCP I wanted away from her and wanted to do something different, he notified her and in 2 days she has dropped me almost 20 mL per unit. Even the paperwork you receive talks about relapsing if dropping too fast. Nobody has sat down with me to make a plan. Maybe she has this hate because she lost her license to prescribe pain pills. She got into trouble when she prescribed them to me. I've taking a step further than just writing a review. There's a email address that you can send complaints to that will get to the director there. All I'm looking for is to be treated fairly and dose me down the way it's supposed to be done through clinical research and federal regulations guidelines not Warner Greer's guidelines. I've messaged you twice on that email and you haven't gotten back to me yet. Why ask me to email you if you won't do anything? You just want people to think you will do something when in fact y'all don't care about your patients.

If I could give them a negative star I would I went here for years always passing my drug screens doing everything asked of me but the Dr there didn't like me I feel. I was in the hospital for a week and coming back to… the clinic bringing paperwork still they took my take homes I had two weeks that happened a year n half ago I worked really hard to get them back n ended up in the hospital again n here we go they wanted to take them again saying I didn't turn in my hospital papers, weeks later but a nurse won't dose u or refill your take homes with out the paper so obviously she seen them and saying I didn't sign release I did so started feeling rail roaded went to transfer clinic Dr.Greer and my counselor April made it almost impossible for me to transfer wouldn't send over records I signed two release forms the new clinic sent over than they made me have to go back over to them and sighn The same paper in front of them ,my new clinic says they are hard to work with other transfers but they had never made anyone else do that before who had transfered from them. The new clinic is filing a grievance on my be half and helping me file one .it hurt because my counselor acted like she cared n when I was signing the paper at the clinic she wouldn't even speak to me but I just would never go here they don't care about your recovery and the Dr Greer has serious issues.

They are supposed to close at 10 am on weekends but u get there at 950 and they don't let u in. That's pretty messed up for them to have posted close at 10 and close10 to 15 mins before that

yep, they called me after three months of being there today trying to show them my Gastro issues and everything never spoke to the doctor even once after intake and they called me after having ghosted me for months… saying sorry your discharged only to go home and skyrocket my percent chance of relapsing after being two years sober Bernie is a killer in disguise

Terrible place to guest dose. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Waited 2 hours the day I was supposed to go there. After turning in all my paperwork a month early they still have a trouble. Every time I go there it's something else. I… always end up waiting and it's always on them!!! The day I left I asked for a direct line to be put in my file to be sent back with me because my clinic can never get ahold of the nurses and it takes hours at my clinic just to verify my last dose JUST TO VERIFY MY LAST DOSE!!!! I MEAN COME ON!!!! I going to be going to another clinic because this is ridiculous after 4 YEARS!!! of it. It's time to go else where they don't care about anybody there but the almighty dollar. Get help elsewhere!!! They don't know what their doing!

Incredible place/people. My 1st time there was done in 90min. If I'd have known how simple hassle free they make access to help I'd have went a long time ago. From the medical director, Dr Greer, on down,if you're ready… to help yourself this is the place!!!! Straight kudos to this place.

I tried to secure MAT services through Bowen Recovery Center and more specifically through Carolyn Warner Greer ( She very poorly represented her clinic with insinuations that my recovery attempt was insincere and that… she would be having none of that and not helping me and she made this assumptions based on the fact that I have a complex presentation with various elements that I've had since a little boy and her evaluation of my very routine medication list offering nothing out of the ordinary. In other words she was a judgmental short-sighted incompetent rude nasty individual that cannot be relied on for anything medically related as she was definitely making insinuations about and references to and offering negative sentiment and inaccurate judgmental childish remarks about concomitant illnesses and the fact that this made her job difficult and something that she wasn't comfortable evaluating or offering care for so too bad for me that I have multiple problems present at the time of the evaluation because apparently she got a whiff of impropriety even though she was absolutely incorrect about me and my situation and offered me absolutely nothing of any value) Carolyn Warner Greer is the reason drug addicts don't make it because they can't get the help they need when they need it and instead they're given judgment and called names and made insinuations in place of offering real objective medical interviews and subsequently an appropriate level of care (because she's offering no level of care at all....) She's the reason more addicts are continuing to go without help, I guarantee it; I know because I'm one of those patients. I guarantee she's the reason more people relapse and continue to make unrecognized wasted efforts through the clinic she "provides" for. It's a shame she's out there upsetting people making a real effort and making allegations of improprieties that are non-existent. It's rude judgmental and ridiculous not to mention inappropriate and unprofessional!!!

I am an addictions counselor and I have never met a company full of so many UNHELPFUL people who are willing to put their patient's recovery and wellbeing at RISK. If you are struggling with an addiction- there are many… other treatment centers in Fort Wayne that can help you, DO NOT COME HERE!

I wish I could put ZERO stars. This place does not give 1 ounce of care about your recovery or wellbeing. If you make anyone mad they will discharge you or refuse to dose you. They do not care if you have to go through… detox, and will even make it harder for you to get care anywhere else. There are other methadone and suboxone clinics in fort wayne and Bowen should be your absolute LAST CHOICE. Bowen recovery wants to do as little work and deal with as little people as possible. Do NOT go to them for help.

They change the rules all the time. They change how things are done and who gets special treatment and who doesn’t. I’m sure it has something to do with private pay and insurance. I don’t think any of these places offer… help I think they make it harder sometimes to be sober.
