Broward Addiction Recovery Center – Fort Lauderdale (325 SW 28th Street) Detox and Rehab Services
Broward Addiction Recovery Center – Fort Lauderdale (325 SW 28th Street) is recorded as offering detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Supervised withdrawal comes first, with the greatest danger in the opening seventy-two hours. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Broward Addiction Recovery Center – Fort Lauderdale (325 SW 28th Street) Reviews and Ratings
Broward Addiction Recovery Center in Fort Lauderdale can be understood partly through its license and accreditation, and partly through what patients say. Read their reviews here, and leave one if you have been in treatment at the facility.
Mr. Vernon Williams my case manager & Therapist Christopher Leonard were both everything i could've asked for! They took care of everything i need it.
My experience with barc has been phenomenal. Apart from not having insurance, I was accepted into the program. Dr Faith Bird is by far one of the most influential therapists i have encountered. Not to mention my number… one favorite in the whole program Ms.Robin whom I can give all credit to in my first breakthrough. Now with Mr. Reyes I can say I am in great hands. My future is bright. And I recommend this experience to anyone that is truly serious about their recovery. Thank you barc... you are amazing,.
The detox is medical and they truly care. Residential is informative and helped me get F.S. & medical insurance & I.D. & Free month halfway house. IOP very helpful. Love the staff especially Robin and Dr. Faith .… Changed my life
The program is free they care about your recovery but Robin is great very fun groups keeps you up from sleeping
Robin made IOP a blast. Her groups on Fridays are what keep me coming. Mrs Robin understands us the most & brings group to life.
This is a program that puts effort in you when you put effort into yourself for wanting a better life and commitment into recovery. Many of the staff such as Robin, Ely, Michelle, Dr. Faith, and Cameron are very… supportive, have diverse teaching styles, and gives anyone a chance to allow room for mistakes and improvement, and being aware of our circumstances. The groups are mediated by the counselors but sharing is led by the clients to help one another by listening to other perspectives in a confidential manner and given a variety of resources that is beneficial to get back on the right path. Most of the clients are well knitted with one another either by meeting through detox, IRT/RTS, or living in the same living arrangements. When a person is new and may not know anyone, the groups are welcoming and supportive. We stay in contact with other clients, talk about how we feel (even if we don’t want to), and grow to be supportive and supported in different venues. The lessons are very proactive and definitely relates to real world scenarios. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who wants to change or at least make the first step to trying to figure out things for themselves. I came in scared and not knowing what to expect but my mindset has shifted and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be accepted, listened to, receive resources to help me continue recovery, the people I met during the process, and the overall impact that this experience has granted me in order to have a better outlook on life and coping skills that can be used.
Professionals providing excellent service! That's a fact and I want everyone to know that
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this facility. What should be a place focused on healing and compassionate care felt anything but that. It became very clear that the organization prioritizes processes… and policies over the actual well-being and personal healing of their inpatients. This experience felt impersonal, frustrating, and ultimately counterproductive to the healing process for my husband. Not being able to have a visit with your loved ones to help and support the healing process because of a 1 min policy is unfair and non compassionate. Not to mention the unpleasant and unprofessional experience I had with some of the staff. The older lady who sits up at the front desk is obviously tired of working at her age so she is rude and unhelpful. She rolls her eyes at you like your an inconvenience to her day.
Savedy life ,20 years ago
BARC WAS VERY HELPFULL I ALMOST DIDNT EVEN GO BUT ROBIN HELPED CHANGED MY MIND. I DIDNT HAVE INSURANCE AND THEY GOT ME IN. THIS PLACE WILL 100% KEEP YOU OUT PRISON.
I am very grateful for this program barc detox 25 years I walked in this place when it used to be close to Broward boulevard. I was broken up and they helped me get my life back together they sent me to IRT a 28-day… program in Coral spring after that I went to a halfway house got a job and got my life together right now it has been 25 years I am a business owner I am married and I have a family thanks to this great program. Thank you so much everyone for the hard work you guys put in you did not do this in vain because you have one out here doing great 💪🔥☎️ I just dropped a friend of mine's off this morning hopefully he can get it together
My mother is an addict and is now HOMELESS. She tried to seek help from this place AND THEY TURNED HER AWAY. how are you guys a recovery center turning away addicts in need??? Y'all should be ashamed. They didn’t even… give her options on other places to go. You guys are horrible.
Ms Robin Was Very Nice And Professional And Cool To Talk to thanks !
How do the staff at BARC sleep at night? I have a good friend suffering from addiction, and my friend has had appointments with a BARC staff person, only to get turned away forcing my friend to live in the streets,… living in addiction. I see other reviews about BARC where BARC will not help persons with addiction, but turns them away / makes them leave. How, BARC? How do you sleep at night knowing that you have just denied treatment to an addict wanting recovery? You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!
Ridiculous and inhumane. Belittled my family member that went in there looking for help. I can’t wrap my head around how rude the front desk was when their job is to help others in need.
UPDATE!!🤪 My brother was actually arrested with a felony charge because Broward Addiction Recovery Center wouldn’t help him and now his life is actually ruined!!YAAAY THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!! Absolutely… useless. A family member was brought here under court order, the clinical person assigned to do their assessment took one look at them and said you’re leaving. I couldn’t get a single person to answer my questions, no one called back, nothing. After 6-7 hours after trying to contact someone after calling right before they closed someone FINALLY informed me that I wasn’t even allowed to receive information about the patient, and that’s why no one was calling me back or talking to me. Only the person listed can receive information. Right after they called the listed person and told them to tell me to stop calling. Why didn’t someone tell me that the first or second time I called instead of absolutely wasting my time and just telling me the person wasn’t available I needed to talk to??? My family member was released after YOU GUYS sent them away for medical clearance, and once they were brought back you say you can’t take them?? If something happens to them, I like to think it’ll be on you and your staff. Absolutely useless.
Karla, Leo and Cory were amazing staff! As well as Michelle the RN. I highly recommend this facility.
Ms. Shenika you're the best boss ever and I'm so glad I stayed with the loving caring and understanding from you 💘 I'll always recommend and refer anyone who needs the trust and help needed you're one of a kind and… beautiful too. Perfection at its best
BARC is truly amazing. The staff there truly cares about each person's recovery above anything else. Robyn really goes above and beyond and cares for each patient. Ms. Faith is amazing counselor and I can honestly say… they were instrumental in saving my life. Today, my future is bright and I look forward to each day!
Robin is an awesome staff , Barc is a great place
If you are serious about being clean and sober Broward Addiction Recovery Center (BARC) is the place to start your journey. All the staff are helpful and attentive to your recovery. Special thanks to Ms Faith, Ms Dru,… Robin for helping me stay on track.
Robin is #1 for sure !!!
Come to BARC if you want to get clean. I’ve been to numerous fancy rehabs and used every time I left although BARC may not have all of the fancy amenities this is the place that I got clean at and stayed clean. Robin is… the best!!!
This place has saved my life. I am forever grateful for barc to be a part of my life
Robin and the rest of the staff here have helped me change my life around. The difference is almost night and day with myself. I'm not sure I could've done what I did anywhere else.
I was addicted to crack cocaine, twice in the program, it was rough but I overcame a non life of ongoing slavery and death to a truly amazing life, and I am 2 years clean and counting. I thank God for all the staff that… help people just like me, to help me beat something I could not beat alone...
Barc saved my life. Best IOP counselors ever! They don't get paid enough! Much better than IRT I got much better counseling from Kassiana and Vanessa, I will love them the rest of my life for helping me and saving me♡… God bless you ladies ♡ everyone is so nice!
