I can’t say enough good things about this treatment center. Choosing to come here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The staff truly cared about me as a person and made me feel supported, respected, and… understood throughout my time there. I came in needing help, and I left with tools, knowledge, and a stronger foundation for my recovery. The environment was welcoming, the staff were compassionate and encouraging, and I never felt like I was just another client. I’m incredibly grateful for the people I met, the lessons I learned, and the growth I experienced here. This place played an important role in my recovery journey, and I will always be thankful for that. If you’re struggling and considering treatment, I highly recommend giving this center a chance. ❤️🙏🏼

My experience there was not the best, to start the Air conditioning was not working during the month of July, Rooms was in the upper 80 degrees. The medical staff didn't have my medication right for over a week.… Provider only came in a couple days a week. The food portions was terrible, it being a treatment center you think they would be feeding you more, knowing that before you get there you a most likely not eating very good. They also had cameras in the rooms on the residential side, problem with that is completely illegal to do that in state of Arizona. Also staff was not all on the same page one would say one that and another would say something different. I also was told that I would leave with a 14 day supply of the medications I was on and when I was discharged I did not get all of the meds. Now I have to go a week without them till I go to the Dr. I feel that they are working on getting the place better but they have some real issues they need to address to get it up to standers. On a positive note you do get a private room with a TV and your cell phone from 4-9pm. Also all of the BHT's and Medical staff are awesome. Upper management did inform us that the facility was up to standers however the day after that was said they did close detox and stop admitting people.

My boyfriend went into detox 6/29, moved to residential 7 days later and it is now 7/13 and the air conditioning in the building has not been working in their rooms the whole time. Clients have heat rash from the rooms… being 90 degrees or higher. The food has also been minimal and not good. There is only one meal option per meal, if you don't like it there is pb&j, today's lunch consisted of 1/4 of a hot dog and a scoop of beans!! A lot of the staff is not friendly or respectful, nor do they all follow the same rules and regulations.

I went here 2 days ago. The nurse was rude who was taking my intake and they didn't have no AC. The only AC that was working was in the tv room. This place really sucked. I end up leaving that same day.

This facility is amazing! So much more than I ever expected. If I could give a 10 star 🌟 rating I would. The residential facility is absolutely spotless. Everyone has their own huge room with a Roku TV. Huge bathroom.… We get our phones everyday from 4pm to 9pm. I have not heard of anywhere else that doesn't have a blackout period on phones. All the staff here are amazing! They truly care about the patients here! Scott is a great BHT, he's trained Josh very well! Christina, my therapist, is very inspiring and I enjoy her group sessions. I always look forward to Ed's group sessions, he has the entire class engaged and everyone seems to have a good time during his group! I am so happy I was referred here for recovery. I couldn't ask for anything better! Also, they do except my Health Choice Medicaid here.

I went to Buena Vista Health and I'm happy I did! All of the employees are amazing and willing to help as much as they can. They are respectful, caring and want to help. I felt no judgement on compassion. I'd highly… recommend them if you are looking for help!

I sent my daughter here because I went here 5 years ago, at the time I was a "soccer mom" and all the clients looked well off or from the "middle class". My daughter called and secured her place, and I thought I would… sleep easily knowing that she was in a decent facility. However, I have been fighting with Mind 24/7, a facility they sent her to, because she was giving attitude. If I had known that they would do this, I would have picked her up. Instead, I have spent the last 48 hours trying to locate her, and she has lost all her belongings! But, most importantly, she has lost trust in the healthcare system. I would not recommend any facility to help unless you have the right insurance. If your loved one looks like they are homeless and on AHCCCS, or if they talk back just the slightest bit, they will treat you like crap and steal your stuff. I know because I tried to work in these places, and they are inhumane. I wish I had read the latest reviews before sending her to this facility. They will turn you away if you do not fit their "client type".

This place is turning people away of they are not high when they come in. They basically tell them they can come back when they are high. They are encouraging them to go out and get high to receive help or services from… them. This is absolutely ridiculous because one pill can kill. This needs to be changed and I am going to make sure this place and other's like this one is exposed for this. They might be great for basic recovery. But let a real drug addict off the street come in for service's and get turned away because they aren't high enough. SHAME ON YOU.. 😡

This is really great facility in terms of quality. Other than that if you have your own insurance and don't rely on access expect other charges to you personally. This company loves to grad money where they can. Ive… been charged for labs for 800+ dollars. Dont take the drug test that is the only lab that I have ever taken and they will card you a 2 week pay check. Your commercial insurance will most likely not cover it.

I am truly grateful for Buena Vista recovery. I was there for 57 days. They saved my life, recovering from Methamphetamine. This place taught me so much and gave me so many new tools to use for my recovery. The place is… beautiful, inside and out. It was a bittersweet moment when I was ready to leave. The beds are comfortable, food was amazing, the curriculum that was being taught was amazing balance. With therapy, yoga, fitness, cbt, dbt and so much more. Would definitely recommend this place. This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! If you care anything about your family member or your finances, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! My son has struggled with alcohol addiction for a long time and has tried to get help in the… past, but it didn't work. He really wanted to try again, so his girlfriend brought him here. He checked in and was there less than 3 hours before he felt the need to leave because he DID NOT feel safe in this facility. They treated him like he was he was in a county psych ward. On top of that, they charged him a $500 deposit that they refused to refund, again, after only 3 hours. I plan to file a complaint with the Arizona Department of Health Services. Addiction is a disease and people should NOT be treated that way!

While this facility may help with its patients and that is the most important factor, they are absolutely horrible with supporting family members. No one answers phones, they never provide updates as they promise they… will to you. I've had a son there for a week and I have no idea what's going on or how he is progressing. Wish we never have put him in this facility, never again!!!
