Center for Child Counseling – Palm Beach Gardens

As I prepare to celebrate an 11th anniversary with Center for Child Counseling, Inc. I am reminded of the values that attracted me to this agency. It is such a pleasure to work with a passionate, nurturing,… knowledgeable and resourceful group of individuals who truly care about children and families in our community, endeavor to educate our partners about the impact of adverse childhood experiences, and who spread playfulness and hope!

You will come across a caring, engaging, and supportive environment the moment you set foot in the facility. The staff are always eager to support you and help you find the right program for you.

The Center for Child Counseling is a truly safe and welcoming place for children and families. Their wide range of services reflects a deep understanding of the community’s needs. The fact that their mental health… programs have been established and continuously growing over the years speaks volumes about their impact and dedication. This nonprofit consistently delivers compassionate, high-quality care and support to everyone who walks through their doors.

Before the program i was lost dint know no were to turn. but Deirdre help me everything i needed she is great i really going to miss her you have a very loving employee she really care about the people she helps .

Center for Child Counseling really helped me and my family. Our therapist - Darla was so helpful in my child's growth. she has helped me navigate his fears and anxieties, has helped me become a better parent and… understand my child better, and has helped my child come out of his shell and grow in his confidence. there are not enough words to express what a difference Darla has made in our lives.

After waiting months to receive services they offered a counselor who on our first conversation told me that she was leaving in a few weeks. My options were take this counselor for my child who had been referred due to… concerns of self harm or go back in the waiting pool for months longer. Needless to say that counselor was kind but not very helpful. Second counselor SAMANTHA LOFORTE was unprofessional and very obviously inexperienced. She was unwilling or unable to connect with my child and after scraping up $150/week for multiple sessions she attempted to exit her stating she didn’t know how to connect with my child. When I spoke of why she was there she said she had no idea the last counselor didn’t take any notes! When I inquired why that would be she stated it was to protect the family. 🤔 HIGHLY recommend you do NOT use this agency or if unavoidable that you avoid SAMANTHA LOFORTE. As a parent I only wanted my child to get help md feel safe and that was not something she could Accomplish and put minimal effort. My child is kind, sweet and introverted. Very disappointing experience.

Center for Child Counseling is an amazing agency that is dedicated to help children and families in our community. It is a trauma-informed agency that also helps everyone in our community to become trauma informed to… promote resilience and social-emotional wellbeing in children. They have passionate well trained therapists and variety of workshops to help children as well as their caregivers.

The trainings that the Center for Child Counseling provide are both informative and engaging. I especially appreciate the wealth of knowledge shared on ACE's, toxic stress and Play Therapy. I've attended no less than 5… trainings with CFCC over the past 3 years and I can say they've truly helped me develop a strong foundation as a clinician working with Children and Families.

They don’t accept insurance- so basically only for the wealthy that can pay cash!!!
