Center for Families – West Chester Detox and Rehab Services
Center for Families – West Chester carries a listing for partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Center for Families – West Chester Address, Location and Contact Information
Center for Families – West Chester is located at 1301 Wrights Lane in West Chester, Pennsylvania, 19380. West Chester sits in Chester County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Center for Families – West Chester Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Center for Families help in two directions. Reading them helps you prepare questions for the admissions team, and writing one, if you have been a patient, helps the next family prepare theirs.
Caring, amazing staff.

A great community resource. Adventure therapy is the best.
Center staff is awesome
Center For Families is a wonderful place for students. Great staff.
As a previous client this is the best program. The staff are professional and supportive. There are teachers there that will help you with your work. On my first day, I felt welcomed. They are good at working with… people with autism, and they understand me. We go on an adventure every other week.
This place changed me for the better. Ignore the negative reviews.
Today marks one year since I was discharged from the West Campus of Center for Families PHP. The day I left, I made myself a promise: if my experience still haunted me—if I was still scared, still felt discarded, still… struggled to trust—I would write this. I still have nightmares. The things I witnessed, the words I heard, and, worst of all, the lack of support from the staff will never leave me. CFF did not heal me. It broke me. It made me believe the mental health system was a lie, a trap designed to profit off suffering kids rather than ease it. From the moment I arrived, it was toxic. Staff had favorites, and my therapist was no exception. She openly prioritized another client—someone who consistently made other clients uncomfortable with inappropriate behavior—but nothing was ever done. When I raised concerns, I was dismissed. She told me she “felt for them” and said it was a “whole tissue box day.” Meanwhile, my friend and I were reprimanded for sitting too close on a couch because it was a “no-touch facility,” yet this same client was allowed to cuddle with others daily. It felt unfair and confusing. (This therapist quit a week after that client left.) I have ARFID, an ED, but because it wasn’t based on body image, I wasn’t allowed into CFF Nourish. Instead, I was placed in a program that didn’t know how to support me. I spent months asking for safe foods. When I finally got them, it lasted two weeks. I had difficulty ordering lunches, and no one helped me navigate it. The last month of my 4.5-month stay was the hardest. One day, I was sharing something personal about my parents’ divorce when another client interrupted with an inappropriate comment. I was embarrassed. I asked for help, for someone to acknowledge what had happened, and June, the clinical supervisor, told me to talk to my individual therapist about those "negative feelings". I broke down crying in front of everyone. No one said anything. They just watched. I started writing things down because I felt like no one was listening. I kept a small book of quotes, things clients said that made me uncomfortable or scared. There were comments about violence and other extreme language that were brushed off by staff. One client wrote something disturbing in a group activity. I turned it in. Nothing changed. I also have a phobia of needles, and when I repeatedly asked a client to stop talking about them, Laura corrected me instead of asking them to stop. My experience with June and Laura still weighs heavily on me. I know this review might not change anything, but if you’re considering sending someone you love here, please think twice. I was just a teenager trying to get help. To CFF: I just wanted to be heard.
do not send your child here, awful staff
Great staff, very helpful. Would recommend!
I can't speak highly enough. The staff is truly amazing & incredibly caring. From day one, all feel welcomed and supported. Everyone who works there is not only professional but also genuinely compassionate and… understanding. The program is thoughtful and the building is warm & convenient. They have truly created a safe and nurturing environment. I highly recommend Center for Families.
