Central Florida Treatment Center – Fort Pierce Detox and Rehab Services

Central Florida Treatment Center – Fort Pierce is listed as running detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

On Monday 12/22/25 I went to Central Florida Treatment Center on Nebraska ave and lawnwood in Ft. pierce where I go for my methadone treatment once a week every Monday I was hit with a large bill and The counselor who I… was assigned to (Ryan) knows my situation so the fact that he let me leave the grant to go on insurance with a copay is mind blowing every time he meets me it’s the same bs i just moved here still looking for work and staying sober etc etc so he basically threatens me that if I can’t pay anything I won’t get medicated and in a very condescending tone. So I told him What if i can’t afford this and end up using and overdosing because that’s a large bill and we all know we will not go through withdrawal we would use instead and I’m sure he knows this as well…so I told him just that and all he does is shrugs his little shoulders with that oh well facial expression and in his smugness tone “oh well that’s your decision”….so I lost my cool…all i did was say a few words and so he said call the police!!! If he can’t handle what I said he in the wrong profession..so I kicked the front door open as I walked out…I waited there for the police and ended up getting kicked out What I don’t understand is why didn’t he say starting next Monday you have to make a payment in advance of your medication this morning you know trying to work with me be reasonable not just hitting me with this attitude and why did they even let the bill get up to $1200 before telling me anything also few weeks prior to this incident i had a hold on me Ryan would just override it few weeks Ina row and not speak to me or tell me about a active bill… I kept insisting to Ryan I want to go back on the grant I can’t afford a copay. Though at the time of this incident I Was going through withdrawal and lost it I shouldn’t of said what I said.. I know Very poor decision on my end but even worst on his as substance abuse counselor. He escalated the situation by threatening me with no payment no medication and his insane response to what I would had have to do if I couldn’t get the $$ No caring total lack of professionalism This counselor seemed happy to see me in that condition he is such a horrible counselor/individual.never gave me resources never did anything helpful for me all he did was ask the same questions wit the same obvious answer every session…he shows no emotion care or compassion towards an individual who comes for help to improve himself. Do better Ryan

Got on in 1 day. All are nice and dr is nice guy. If anyone Has a problem I say go here . In and out fast for your Dose . My pain clinic Resolute in Port St. Lucie a dr.Kucheria kick me off for a false urine and I was… stuck he would not retest me . 11 yrs with no dirty ones i could have had serious problems or died due to him. I went here they help me in a few hours . I highly recommend this place if you have any issues with your meds or other problems. All staff members are extremely nice and careing , they are there to help you , not just to get a pay check every week. My first counselor has been gone over a year , but we're still friends and we text and stay in touch. If you want help this is the place to go. They are here to help you if you want it. Hours are from 5 :30 am till 11:00 am i believe now there closed on Saturday and Sunday... so youll need to invest in a take home box. You can find them at CVS or other shops, staples, etc. Under $15.00 . They are there to help you if you want it...everyone on staff is polite and helping. I recommend this place if you need it , they will help or tell you what to do.. I give this clinic a ( 10 )

They are absolutely wonderful. And I'm so grateful for this place. just about everyone there is absolutely amazing. There's only like 2 nurses there that I think are miserable and hate their job other than that.… Everybody else is absolutely amazing. My counselor April ,Katrina, and everyone else. They're all a delight and so helpful. The only thing I would like to know is why they are not up to par With the federal guidelines for methadone clinics in the state of florida for take homes. Actually as of April 2024 , they updated the methodone clinic guidelines for the state of Florida for take homes for people to be able to have take homes after 30 days of being at the clinic. And if they have clean urine. I know I have not had any dirty urine tests. And I have been at the clinic for more than 30 days and it would be a blessing if they could be up to par with the new federal guidelines for the state of Florida. So I can have weekly take homes. It would really help out so much. It is very difficult for me to come all the way from Jensen beach every to get my dose at the clinic. Anyways, but other than that , i am truly blessed to have found this place. And I'm so grateful for everyone who works there and has helped me in my recovery. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is trying to recover from addiction.

I am writing to express my deep concerns about the treatment center I am currently attending. My intention is not to attack anyone personally, but to highlight serious issues that are affecting the care and recovery of… myself and others. From my experience, many of the counselors here appear disinterested in their work and unwilling to genuinely listen to clients. It often feels as though they lack the training, empathy, and awareness needed to effectively treat people with substance use disorders. This is not just a matter of style or personality—it’s a matter of competence and safety. I have also encountered dishonesty from staff, which destroys trust in a setting where trust is essential. The nursing staff often seem indifferent to the physical and emotional needs of patients, creating an environment where we feel neglected rather than supported. Perhaps most troubling, there is a pervasive lack of professional leadership. The current director appears either unwilling or unable to enforce standards of care, and there are alarming concerns regarding her own behavior and fitness to lead. Recovery requires a foundation of respect, compassion, and professional integrity. Right now, this facility is failing to provide that foundation. The harm caused by these deficiencies is not theoretical—it is real, immediate, and dangerous to the wellbeing of every person in this program. I am requesting that these concerns be taken seriously and that an investigation into the facility’s operations and staff conduct be initiated immediately. Patients come here seeking help, often at the lowest points in their lives. We deserve competent, ethical, and compassionate care.

I walked into this place 13 years ago with nothing left but a little hope. This place helped me get my life back. The people there are amazing starting with the amazing Katrina at the front desk. She has been there… since i started and always has a smile and very understanding. Jessica in the back is another favorite as well as Cynthia. Colleen goes above and beyond for everyone needing help. The doctors are kind and understanding while holding you accountable. I honestly dont think I would be alive today had this place not existed. Words will never express the gratitude I have for this program and the people that work there

Dr. Dr. James Autin was extremely… understanding which made this so much easier on me. Ty to all the staff nurses and counselors, etc for your kindness and support. !

I transferred from a clinic in Tampa. It has been an easy Transition from the front desk Katrina to the intake nurses. My therapist Janelle has been more than patient and kind with me to address all my questions and… concerns. I am so grateful in places like this are open for us addicts in early recovery now coming up on 3 and 1/2 years. The doctor was very kind and nice to me as well. I would suggest any newcomer in the program or family members come to this place for help if they need!

Pros: This place is awesome! Have been going there for a couple years (I have 5 weeks left! Yay!) If you need a change in your life I highly recommend this place. Never did i feel judged for being there. Colleen is… -AWESOME!- Seriously, one of the nicest, understanding, helpful, knowledgeable people i have ever met. Cons: Sometimes it takes a long time in there and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Sometimes if a nurse is having a bad day or someone pisses her off she'll take it out on everyone and go super slow for awhile on purpose. There is a high turnover rate with the staff/counselors. Advice: Don't piss off the nurses! 🙃 (kinda like don't bite the hand that feeds you) Overall: Highly recommend this place!

If you don’t have money then don’t worry about going to this place. They literally threaten to kick you out of the program if you can’t pay or threaten you about paying. They said my insurance was great and good to go… then all of a sudden I get stopped saying I owe a very expensive bill with them. Because they didn’t tell me my insurance didn’t work until four weeks after I’ve started the treatment. Just do your research before entering places like these

I been coming for almost 3 years. I gave this place 5 stars 🌟 for the one consistent woman named Katrina. She wears many hats. You won't find many people in this industry like her. I always think about how they could… fix any issue from absent countless to HR to even running the place. I only leave this review because had it not been her for the last several years. I don't think I'd been so successful
