Chartiers Community MH and Retardation – Bridgeville (437 Railroad Street) Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 437 Railroad Street, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, 15017. This address falls in Allegheny County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

Chartiers Community MH and Retardation – Bridgeville (437 Railroad Street) Reviews and Ratings

I have been at the chartiers center since February 2026. I absolutely love this program and Guy Yeadon is such an amazing therapist. He teaches us the tools we need to succeed in a sober lifestyle. I have made friends… in group sessions that have always been there to help me along the way! Thanks chartiers and mostly big thanks to Guy for being amazing! I have been living sober for 5 months now and have been working on my spiritual journey!
Counseling with Guy is unlike any therapy ive had in the past. Hes outstanding and gave me a new lease on what recovery means to me.
This was my first experience with therapy for panic disorder. Sally, the intake therapist, was amazing. The psychologist they had me speak to was the most unprofessional woman I've ever had the displeasure of speaking… with. When I voiced my displeasure at how rude she was to me (she insulted me numerous times), I was met with "Yeah we've heard that before". That's it. My therapist was kind but I wasn't getting from her what I wanted out of therapy and a therapist. It was more like she enjoyed talking to me as her friend. Which is sweet but I'm not looking for a friend in a therapist, I'm looking for analysis and recovery techniques, etc. I was considering asking for a different therapist but I've just gotten completely turned off by the idea of sticking with this facility. Update: When I just called to cancel being a patient, they just said "ok". I'm surprised they didn't care enough to ask why.
I want to share how grateful I am for everything my social worker, Josh, has done for me and my family. His support came at times when I felt lost and didn't know where to begin. Josh not only helped me find housing and… understand the school system, but he also brought me peace of mind during a process that previously overwhelmed me. He always had the patience to explain every detail and never made me feel alone along the way. When I needed access to food options and legal assistance, he was there without hesitation, finding resources and making sure I had what I needed. It's clear he does his work with his heart. Thanks to his dedication, I now have stability and hope for my family's future. I am truly grateful for the commitment, compassion, and respect he has shown me from day one.
Definitely the best because medication psychiatrist Dr Hannah Boettcher along with medication psychiatry assistant Maria W do a phenomenal job on my appointments
This is the nicest place I've been in my journey. Tammie is an absolute joy to have as a service coordinator. Taylor, Alison, and Guy are some of the best group therapists I've ever had. Becky, Shelly, and Desiree are… wonderful, too, always answering my questions and there to keep me calm despite the overwhelm. My life is turning around after being here! Clean facility and healthy meals. I would welcome the opportunity to work here someday.
Not a well run facility.
I started attending IOP services at Chartiers in oct of last year and it has changed my life! I have one of the best therapists I have ever had in 15 years of therapy. I would recommend Chartiers Center to anyone who… truly is looking for help to better their mental and emotional state.
They saved my life. They are the most professional people I have ever met. Would recommend to anyone.
Extremely unprofessional, just over the phone. Canceling my appointment, not even going to attempt to try this place out in person, you can tell her the phone that they're incompetent and probably need mental health… themselves.
Not efficient
The connection I’ve made with the following 2 people was life changing to say the least.. from day 1 at the RTP Lori Kist met me at the door, greeted me with open arms and a year later is still my number 1 motivator.… Maria W. Is by far the best therapist I’ve seen. Teaching me the tools to answer the questions I’ve been asking her on my own. Being able to connect with your therapist really help me gain control of my recovery and grow into the best version of me I can be. I am really lucky to have these 2 women on my support team
My Name Is Maceo V. Williams, and my experience With Ms. Alesha has been a superb experience, considering she always breaks up with me. I understand she is busy yet still! No, I’m joking, & truly the experience has been… a great success for my mental health, and for my growth. I had the stigma of it being like TV, & was prepared for that type of setting. Instead, it became more of hanging with a friend who had no option on what I was whining about! I Love It truly. I recommend therapy to my close friends because it has changed me enormously. Blessings .
At 100 Emerson Ln bridgeville pa sute 1537 sucks you can't order cigarettes or anything here if you smoke no food snacks nothing they make you feel way worse then what you came in I'm severely scared tired and depressed… traumatized by this place broke beds and they treat you as an animal
Excellent service
I started addressing my mental health for the first time when I got to Washington in July 2023 after being homeless, being in active addiction for the last 10 years, along with countless years of being a victim of… domestic violence and living with PTSD. The staff at Chartiers Center Washington was very compassionate and professional from the front desk personnel and office manager to the therapist, MD, and the nurse. They always did everything in their power to meet my needs and In a very caring manner. I love the staff there they feel like family. The office is always organized, clean, and promotes an atmosphere for recovery. I would and have suggested the Chartiers Center in Washington to several of my personal friends.
Chartiers in Washington is a very good place. They really take the time to listen to you and what you need.
I HAVE BEEN GLOING TO COUNSELING FOR 40 YEARS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I TRUST MY THERAPIST. SHE HAS HELPED ME FROM the beginning. Sally is great!
Have attended sessions here a few times so far. Seems like a good place to receive support in the healing process. Especially if you are looking to begin receiving care quickly.
Washington location...great staff, awesome therapists... quick appointments to see psyche doctors
Always polite and helpful. Love my therapist as well. I always look forward to going
Chartiers is a great place. Very compassionate workers, they listen to your needs. & are very helpful!! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone In need
Everyone is professional, courteous, and helpful, making you feel welcomed as you come in the door. My therapist is extremely personable and easy to talk to while helping to see and get to the root of life challenges. I… conquered many of those challenges in our sessions that helped me to be a better version of myself today.
The receptionist was a wonderful helpful person
