I had an amazing experience at Ciconia Recovery from start to finish. The entire team is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to patient care. Dr. Khaled Helmy stands out as an exceptional… consultant—knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely caring. He made me feel completely at ease, like I was speaking to an older brother rather than just a patient. His expertise and approachability are refreshing and made all the difference in my ADHD diagnosis journey at age 40. I cannot thank him enough. The practice manager, Sam, went above and beyond in making my experience smooth and welcoming. She handled all my queries effortlessly and was always ready to help with a warm smile. From my first contact with her to my arrival at the clinic, she reassured me that I was in the right place, and her positive energy set the tone for my entire experience. Her kindness and professionalism truly enhanced my visit. The center itself is bright, clean, and has a positive, friendly atmosphere. I rearched throughly from colleagues and people who had used the services.All Staff are warm, engaging and make you feel safe. I was reluctant to speak but he has the most superb people skills and made sense of the… world. After we spoke I sat in silence in a state of peace I’ve never known. ADHD can isolate you and i realised I’m allowed to be myself. If forced to choose between medication or understanding the condition with the amount of knowledge and insight grossnesses, no contest. A brilliant, caring and wonderful staff. Easily the very best services.

Firstly I will say that I am currently 31 years of age and I have been both diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed medication through ciconia recovery and the process overall has been fantastic. Consultations and medication… are expensive but this is to be expected with going private, the process and the experience has been fully expanded every step of the way and I would highly recommend Ciconia recovery.

I would give a 0 star to them if possible. I don't recommend them to any of you. I met with one of their doctors in Feb to discuss the medication transition plan and he seems completely clueless and he told me he will… do the research and get back to me. Fine, I told him I will give him time and I will contact him again in April. He didn't mention anything to me and then in April I was suddenly told last week that he is retiring this week and cannot meet with me to discuss what to do, and none of their other doctors are with Bupa so I have to call Bupa again and go through this painful process one more time and find myself another psychiatrist which can see me as soon as possible which is nearly impossible. This is ridiculous. I am running out of the medication as well. It's really putting me in a very painful situation. The doctor is retiring and maybe this doesn't mean anything anymore, but his name is Vitantonio DiFabio.

Sam is the absolute best! Always goes above and beyond and deals with every issue there and then, she’s helped me out loads with getting the help I needed - she makes the whole experience worth every penny!

I can not recommend these guys enough. They worked with me to discover what my correct diagnosis were (I have been misdiagnosed in the past), the went into great detail so my GP had clear directions in how best to aid… me further under NHS treatment. I was also studying uni at the time and needed prevision being put in place, the uni needed very specific wording to enable me to obtain this help, Ciconia and the staff work tirelessly and wrote several letter working closely with the uni to make sure I obtained what I needed. They were quick, efficient, helpful and extremely professional at all levels. Thank you very much, sorry my review has taken so long. :)

Sam made me feel as relaxed as possible when I entered the clinic. I saw Dr Vito because years ago I was scarred by some poor treatment and haven't been the same since. He was very approachable and understanding. I… didn't feel at all stigmatised. He even injected some much-appreciated humour into the consultation, which made me feel at ease. I was relieved to get my PTSD diagnosis, reassurance, and a treatment plan in my area. These people are professional, caring, competent and very kind.

I really appreciate the help I got from the appointment I had with them and I would like to thank Sofia, Tahir and… especially Dr Khaled who helped me feel like I was talking to my older brother not a client or a patient.
