About Community Care Alliance – Woonsocket (55 John A Cummings Way)

Community Care Alliance operates from 55 John A Cummings Way in Woonsocket. The site sits in Providence County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Cumberland Hill. Rhode Island draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Community Care Alliance

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

9/2026 CCA Boston . Commonwealth care alliance senior insurance. used to be decent now that CareSource. Has come into the picture. I believe they’re almost breaking the law by the way they’re treating seniors, because I… am celiac gluten-free and vegetarian and they canceled my protein drinks. My care manager from CCA has been on the phone with them multiple times for over three months trying to get the drinks. But the most important thing is they’re not authorizing my homemaker and personal care person which I’ve had for many years -I’ve had three agencies contact them to no avail one being Old Colony elder services weeks ago and NO RESPONSE!? What’s scary is they sent a message to my care partner, saying not to contact or come to all homes anymore till further notice and that was about a month ago! I’ve had no help with showers, etc. which is serious cause i have fallen and I have two more leg surgeries coming up with no help and I have no one to help me with the house and no family. I’ve waited over three months for a PC SND HHA !😡 Since this is obviously senior abuse. I tried to get Mass Health for a half hour the over 65 customer service number was too busy so I have to try again next week . I’ll ask Mass Health what’s going on if they can intervene and is this even legal to just neglect and abuse disabled seniors who are in dire need of home assistance and personal care . They might give me a number to call , like Attorney General or BBB to just put them on the Nasty Naughty list - but my Google Maps reviews get over 18 million hits so this would probably reach more people. Try and find a new senior insurance - they don’t feel very stable or know what they are doing ! 👎

I don't know were to start but I'm a black male homeless and a client at cca. I have been a victim of systemic Racism at this agency, this place is extremely racist . CCA put a memo up in my chart not to be transported… by staff in there vehicle because I have been to prison. Im denied alot of services here because I cant get staff to transport me to appointments that relate to me getting housing.me and my dog have been living in my vehicle for sometime, I cant go to the shelters because I wont get rid of my dog that I have had since 6 weeks old who is now 5 years old now and he's the only thing I got he means the world to me I wouldn't trade him for anything, and CCA tells me to get rid of him if I want to secure a spot at the shelter just saying that right there shows you how cruel this agency is and how they have no compassion and disregards individuals feelings. if you are homeless they look down on you and see you as a number. on top of me being homeless and taking urines for my license knowing I'm on a fixed income they charged me 5 dollars for a copy of my own toxicology report. which they new I needed to be in compliance with motor vehicles and how my vehicle was my home. And that if I lost my license how that would just make things worst for me and my dog Dylan. So I needed the form and I had no funds so I had to write a bad check for 5 dollars to CCA so I wouldn't get suspended the check bounced and I incurred like 40 dollars in overdraft fees because CCA wouldn't give me a Free copy of my own toxicology report. I went to a group that they were facilitating and was asked to leave because it was a closed group. I had a panick attack and needed to be taken to be treated and I was left there by myself sick and told that I was not allowed to be transported because I have been to prison. I was taken off my medication that I have been on for over 30 years because the doctor thought I was drug seeking. And this medication has to do with my quality of life. I had to revoke authorization of consent because CCA was ruining my good report with other agencies that I'm associated with. I hope this place is closed down and is investigated for systemic Racism, and discrimination. If your a person of color, I wouldn't recommend this place. Systemic Racism is definitely, prevalent here. Just beware !
