Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health – Greenfield Detox and Rehab Services

Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health – Greenfield is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health – Greenfield Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 145 Green Meadows Drive, Greenfield, Indiana, 46140. This address falls in Hancock County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Un-equipped to actually help people. If you have actual issues go somewhere more professional. I will now no longer have access to the medications I need and will become sick due to antidepressant withdrawal. Thanks,… Gallahue.

I use to see good people there now the people in there don't know what they are doing and they have had me off my meds for over 6 months and my family doctor had to put me back on them and he is taking care of me till… he can get me in a new mental health place that knows what they are doing Gallahue even charged my insurance company when they haven't even seen me so they will be getting a call from the insurance company explaining why they changed them.. lol.. this place is a joke

Had my first appointment yesterday and could not be happier. The staff at the front desk were kind and professional, and the therapist I met with was very understanding and ready to help me with my problems.

I've been seeing a therapist at Greenfield Gallahue & couldn't be happier with the care I've received. As with any medical condition and seeing a specialist for that problem can take several weeks to months to get in to… see that specialist. The same is true with therapist. It can take alot of time to get in. I mention this because I want to share for anyone reading this to not give up if you don't get an answer, call again. If we were having a heart problem we take it seriously and we would keep calling that cardiologist until we got in, right? But it might take weeks or months to get in, unless its an emergency and in that case we go to the ER. Your mental health and when something is going on we can see a specialist and if its an emergency that's when an inpatient *emergency * is going on and we need to have immediate care. If youre in crisis right now you can call or text 988 and talk to someone rightaway. In the mean time, make the appointment and hang in there. It's hard right now to get in to any doctor or specialist and most if them are really doing the best they can too because they're human -- just like us.

When someone is calling for mental health services you don't immediately get an attitude about how you're not accepting new patients(even though online it says you are) and complaining about how short staffed you… already are. It's disgusting enough trying to get mental help already in this area, your negativity isn't needed. Please check yourselves or find new jobs where you do not deal with people.

For all the supposed dedication healthcare providers have for mental health these days, Community clearly doesn't even pretend to make an effort. There is one doctor who oversees the entire facility, and they openly… admit you cannot contact her under any circumstances. Period. You can't even contact the assistant beneath her. You must leave her a message, and she won't get back to you, either. I've even had days where no one picks up the phone at the front desk. And these people have patients experiencing psychotic breaks, panic attacks, medication issues, suicidal thoughts, ect...And the phone just rings, the machine light blinks, and no one does a thing. Try contacting them online via MyChart? Nope, I still have yet to get a single response via MyChart since I began using it three years ago. I don't even see how that level of miscare is even legal. Some of the counselors do try, some don't. That comes with any counseling center. But for those who need a step beyond that and into the realm of doctored medical professionals? You won't find it here. In fact, you'll risk them bungling up your mental health even more by way of their own apathy. You'll need to go somewhere else, and ANYWHERE else is a step above Gallahue.

I’ve been going to therapy here with Erica for a little over a month and it’s going great. It’s really nice doing virtual appointments and the initial intake questions that you have to do typically beforehand was done… over the phone when I scheduled my appointment. The person was very sensitive to my comfort level in regards to answering touchy questions. I’ve seen ALOT of therapists throughout my life and I feel so comfortable with Erica and I actually enjoy hearing her input.

It’s really a shame that a borderline rude receptionist ruins the whole first experience. However after seeing the reviews I’m glad we didn’t waste our time. My son needs caring and understanding mental health not cold… and institutionalized which is how this place felt.

I had cancelled an appointment due to my schedule changing and unable to keep said appointment. Charley called even though I had told her office staff as well as leaving her a voicemail of the cancellation weeks ahead… of time. I was still charged for the appointment I didn’t receive so now I have to argue with billing. I had rescheduled for an afternoon appointment and they put me down for morning where I can’t go. These mistakes cost 2 months of no service since it takes awhile to get in. I was so unhappy I decided to check the reviews and the reviews are spot on with poor services. I cancelled my next appointment and won’t be coming back.

Would give zero stars if I could, I have gone there for 6 years and have not gotten better. I actually have gotten worse. When I ask my therapist for more help I get denied. Don't waste your money or time.

Parents beware. My daughter is doing better because she no longer wants to harm herself. But at the same time her behavior has been worse and more rebellious. She now feels she has the upper hand because she has… manipulated her counselor. She led her couselor to believe that she was mistreated due to a horrific fight with her older sister. I had to break up the fight using proper discipline. Charly her counselor reported me to CPS. The counselor lacks experience, knows nothing about raising children and poses a threat to you and your family. I have raised kids for 21 years. Don't let her enexperience give your child the upper hand.

They are very helpful with their programs. You are only given the tools to help better yourself, when applying what I have learned my life is so much better now.

I was a patient there for over 2 years. After being denied Ss for disability. It turned out that my therapist didn't have written my PTSD nor my agoraphobia that I know of. Possibly. More. In the same group for the over… 2years there.I had trusted both of them and felt completely let down. I couldn't even get the anxiety meds I desperately needed. Started to see the therapist every 2 weeks, then would turn into a month between sessions then maybe 6 weeks to 2 months. I need more than that with all my mental issues. I have finally decided to seek help elsewhere. My family Dr recommended that it would be more beneficial for my mental health to do so. Hopefully you will have much better health care from them. If not talk to your family Dr!!!!!

Feels like court ordered mental health care. Been going almost a year and don't feel as if I've gotten anywhere. The majority of my issues have yet to be addressed.

My step daughter has been going there for 3 years. Her mother and i are very displeased with the care she is receiving. The counselor wont listen to what her and her mother have to say just blow them off. This place is… a pitiful example of mental care and needs to be closed. If your going there or are considering going there find some place else they are a complete joke.
