About Community Medical Services – Billings
Community Medical Services operates from 2040 Rosebud Drive in Billings. The site sits in Yellowstone County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Laurel. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Community Medical Services
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

I recently moved from California and was very skeptical about going to another clinic for help, but let me say that the moment I walked into this clinic I was greeted and helped immediately. Everyone at this office went… above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and the girls in the front office are so very helpful and kind. Thank you for being so understanding and non judgemental it's honestly so nice to be welcomed in and treated so kindly. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for help
I am deeply grateful to CMS for guiding me through the last ten years. This program changed everything for my family. Getting clean allowed me to rebuild my relationship with my children and ultimately meet my wonderful… husband. CMS gave us a second chance at life.
I have been coming here for 10 years and they treat you well and take very good care of you!! I recommend this place to anyone If you’re trying to be in Recovery!!
I have had a good experience with the staff at the Community Medical Services. When I first signed up with the Clinic I was afraid of how they would judge me because I was still using. I found out that I had nothing to… worry about. They did not judge me. Instead they helped me through my struggles and helped me to find a way to stop using. I left for about 7 months and moved to Helena. When I came back to Billings I was greeted with smiles and acceptance and I was told how glad they were to have me back. It is a layer back place and I look forward to going to dose and see the smiling faces when I walk in. I recharged the methadone clinic to all those people who are struggling with addiction.
CMS is by far a lifesaver...a while back i was a full blown addict i sold everything i owned to get pills..... then i was introduced to CMS and they turned my life around i had a councelor named DAVE who was very… sympathetic and really listened to me and was the first to not judge me and really wanted to help me. with his help my life was turned around so i must give dave alot of credit.....its no wonder hes running the show now...fast forward to today you walk in the door and the first person you see is carla who,s bright ,happy outlook shines on you the minute you meet her. shes very outgoing and happy to see you and knows just what you need...also in the front office, you will find taylor and angie both very profesional and also allways looking to help you in any way they can i look forward to going there on thursdays moreso to see all these people.... the nurses ashley and christina are second to none and also. very profesional..... the doctor ari, feels more like a friend than a doctor .He is also very profesional and knows his stuff......... kiley is my new councelor and allready i so enjoy my visits with her... she doesnt make you feel like shes better than you she makes you feel welcome and at home in her dark office(haha) .......ALL IN ALL if you need help,, this is the place to go,,,, they all make you feel better the minute you walk in.... if you have a problem go to CMS you wont regret it....
I absolutely love this clinic. I was so scared to ask anyone for help again of the stigma that comes along with being an addict especially in the care of most medical staff, in most places. Community Medical Center is… far from the average. Everyone there has a role they play and play well they are encouraging and uplifting and best of all they always seem to be 100% sincere. If you need help but have reservations about reaching out just reach out to these guys and they will get you there!!! Thank you C.M.S. with all of my heart thank you!
They are great, and always freandly
You won't find any judgement or pressure here. Only people who actually care and want to help.
So they say there is no I in team. That is definitely the case with this team of caregivers that have given me a second chance at life. Without. There is not the other and so on and so forth. And I just want to thank… everyone of these people for. Their team effort on helping me. In my journey. Thank you. I highly recommend this place. If you're looking to Detox and. A second chance at life
CMS played a huge part in my recovery. Matter of fact it has been 4 1/2 years since my last heroin or fentanyl use! I did some time in the Montana DOC, and after getting out I began methadone treatment within a few… months of my release. And considering I haven't used heroin or fentanyl since before going away I don't know how I couldn't say it works! So happy and proud of the man I am becoming! Not only that, but when my wife passed away, the entire team made it a point to check in with me and offer a safe place to talk. Not very man people know, that my counselors at CMS played a huge part in helping me work through my grief. Ari, Dave, Barbera, I can't think of the front desk, nurses, or my previous counselors names right now, but they have also been awesome! Without the counselors to talk to, I would have went completely off the deep end after my wife passed. Thank you so much!!!
I was embarrassed to seek help and I finally decided to go to CMS they made me feel so welcomed they were just glad to see me so no need to feel embarrassed - CMS has helped me change my life in a positive way. Everyone… one in the staff is amazing. You can tell they really care.
Everybody at CMS is so amazing and helpful! They go above and beyond to make sure that you get the care that you need!
The best program in town! Great staff 👍 Leauges above ideal options!
Such a great program! Caring counselors and staff all around. They work with insurance too! This place has saved my life.
This place is a life saver it helped me so much the people there are so understanding and kind. Its a great environment thay try really hard to help you in any way
CMS has saved my life. When I made the decision to get help for my addiction, CMS was one of my first calls. They got me in right away and were so kind and understanding. My life has definitely changed for the better.… They treat everyone like family and they really care! They want you to succeed and will offer any support they can. Thank you to Karla, Ashley, Kylee, Ari, Taylor and Dave you all have helped me along the way and I will always be grateful. When society looks down on us you all at CMS care and lift us up. If you want help for your addiction, then CMS is the best!
Karla and Taylor are the best!!!!
Seriously the CMS is like the best place like I don't know what I'd do without this place this place is really help me throughout the years and I'm lucky and blessed to have this place and have a good good counselor… like Kylie and everybody's just awesome the doctors everybody there everybody there is great
Opiate addiction services in the Billings area. Now accepts medicaid, though no other insurance (update: insurance is accepted). No cash/checks, Credit/Debit or Money Order only. Good people doing good things.
Awesome place to go!
The staff here is awesome and are always so welcoming. They do an amazing job of seeing how you are but at the same time they keep the lines moving right along so you aren’t waiting around forever. However, although… they are great people, the place is very unorganized.i will show up for my appts and then they will let someone without an appt jump in that spot, making it so i have to reschedule.happens too often. Not only that, their lab that they use has to be ran by an elementary kid as I’ve been clean awhile now but somehow I test positive multiple times. Makes it hard when you travel for this place and things ALWAYS goes wrong. Again, great people but they have to figure out how to run that place.
As a person who became dependent on medication for chronic pain for many years, I decided it was time to be out from under them. I hadn't worked with anyone on this before, so I was pretty intimidated. No reason! These… people treat everyone with respect and decency, without judgement. Not to mention they were able to help me that very day, and helped me to feel so much better immediately! Just a great asset to those of us who are in similar situations, and I would recommend them to anyone trying to rid themselves of the ever growing gorilla on their backs, like me. If they can help me, of all people, they can help you too! Don't wait any longer, go get the life you deserve without the substance/(s) that you think make life easier! Full five star rating! Thank you CMS!
Walking through the front door of CMS and seeing Karla's smiling face sets up the rest of my day to be positive and joyful. Doesn't matter what mood I am in, Karla starts me off with her effervescence. Then I see Dave,… my gifted counselor. He seems to know just the right things to say to keep me on a righteous path. And of course there is Arie (not sure of spelling), my Medical Provider. His knowledge of all things CMS and beyond help to enlighten me in so many ways. Between Arie and Dave I am confident their tutelage will bring me to my ultimate goal - total freedom from drugs, including mthadone. God bless everyone at CMS. Your gifts are many....be proud of the essential work you do.
Amazing community and the workers are amazing people. I definitely recommend. Best clinic out their
I love this clinic the staff are courteous and professional. The people that work here so it because they love to help those who are suffering so they are genuinely decent people. If you are struggling with addiction… problems and want to better your life this is a place to start at.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to be sober and clean without you.I don't believe I would have made it. Everybody is so kind there.Thank you so much.
I'm so grateful for this place, they help me keep moving forward in getting my life back together. If it wasn't for them, I would not have been able to make it.
I've been going here for about six months and I have always felt the love from every staff member. They all just want you to succeed and there is always zero judgment. I can also always count on walking out of there in… a better mood than what I walked in with. Thank you, CMS. Appreciate all of you!
These guys are awesome! They really understand me and are always super friendly. No judgement zone! If you struggle with opioids this is the place to go! (And I want that candy bouquet)
