Community Services Group – Lancaster Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at Community Services Group – Lancaster is partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Community Services Group – Lancaster Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 1902 Olde Homestead Lane, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 17601. The city lies within Lancaster County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

My experience in the PHP program was incredibly healing and educational during one of the most difficult, stressful periods of my life. The Greenfield campus is beautiful to walk around - I love the willow trees. I felt… very comfortable to be myself and speak openly about what I was thinking and experiencing (while avoiding getting into triggering territory). The PHP team and my fellow group members were excellent supports, and I made new friends that understand mental health struggles. I feel more ready to tackle whatever comes next in life than I ever have before.
I regret ever coming here. Dr. Matthew Biever was absolutely horrible. Hes extremely lazy and often didnt see me or refused to make a reasonable effort to provide care. My experience with him left me worse. He is a… disgrace of a Dr.
I waited 2 months for my intake appointment ONLY TO RECEIVE A CALL 3 hours prior to my appointment to reschedule. RESCHEDULE?! I have to wait another MONTH!!!! Not acceptable!!! This place already has a BAD TASTE IN MY… MOUTH!!!
While all the people at my local office seem pretty awesome, the call center needs some serious training on how to actually HELP others. Been without my medication now since yesterday, not feeling good at all in the… head because of it, and all the lady wants to do is come up with all the reasons, including blaming me, why there has not been any return calls yet regarding helping me get a little medication to hold me over until my prescription arrives, instead of actually helping.
Waste of time! We recently moved to the area and have been waiting for our appointment. Our special needs son needed this appointment or he will run out of meds. My wife was working, so I took my son this time. Never… having been there we showed up and I was looking to see if I was in the right place. Then I saw a sign about checking in on the iPad. It asked for a special ID number, so I checked the paperwork to see if I had one, which I did not. So I decided to sign in without that information. The submit button was pushed 1 minute after the appointment time. It said we did not have an appointment. Had they walked out on time and said his name, we would be good. But reading the sign, signing in, put us 1 minute late. So we go up and wait in line for the reception desk. The person in front of us was there for 10 minutes. I was trying to not lose my patience, but we were one minute late, now we had to wait for 10 more minutes. By the time we got to the desk we were now 13 minutes late. The person at the desk said that we were late and the appointment was cancelled. I said we were standing in line and they said we will just have to make another appointment. I said we are here now, it is still within the reserved appointment time, can't we still have it since we waited so long to get this appointment? NOPE. "You will have to make another appointment". I know. I should have been 15 minutes early. I had never been there, I had to take off work to go and traffic caught us. But we walked in the building on time. But nope... not going to work with us. Now my son will run out of meds and we will have to wait another month and a half for another appointment. Going to try to find a place that cares more about customers and is reasonable.
I would not recommend CSG for services, especially if you're looking for flexibility or a timely appointment. While everyone who I worked with treated me kindly, my issue is with the way this place operates, The wait… time for my intake was around 2 weeks. That didn't strike me as an issue. However, to see the psychiatrist I felt was correct for my needs that was an additional 3 weeks. I was more than happy to wait even though I really could have used support sooner as I stated in my intake. I took PTO to prepare for my appointment. And the night before my appointment, I received a voicemail right after the CSG's work hours ended saying that my appointment was canceled due to weather. There was no additional information on what my next steps were. There was only rain in the forecast. I waited to hear back but didn't and called back to get the regional number to then be transferred back to my branch voicemail again. I left a voicemail and didn't hear back within the day. I called the regional number back 2 days after to find that they can't do anything to expedite this process and that it was my responsibility to reach back out. I had no information prior, so if I didn't call back no one would have reached out to me. Given the nature of this business, it rubs me the wrong way and seems like there isn't any actual care.
I've been going here for the last fifteen years.I've never had a problem. All the staff has been courteous i mean, stupid stuff happens like they open the door a little bit late for other than that.I've had no problems… when I called the the nurse's line, she calls you back with no problem. And a very timely manner.I have no complaint to this facility at all
CSG does not excuse the 6 month reschedule policy for psych evals despite valid medical reasons. I very inconveniently got sick and lost my voice the day of my appointment with Jenny Daim and called in anyways despite… struggling to get my words out from having close to no voice. I had pneumonia right before this illness and am still recovering from bronchitis now following getting sick the day of said appointment. The man I spoke with put me through to the nurse line since it was an actual medical reason (he could clearly hear me struggling to talk). No one ever called me. I have called twice since then about rescheduling and get put through to the nurse line. I called scheduling today and turns out a message was sent to Jenny Daim 23 says ago and she hasn't made a decision yet on whether or not I can reschedule before 6 months. No communication about this was made to me and everytime I call I've gotten the run around. The idea that this policy exists for an institution that provides psych evals and psychiatry for people with Depression, Anxiety, Autism, etc is actually not ethical to begin with. But to not excuse it for medically valid reasons and leaving it up to cold providers to determine if you're worthy of a reschedule is unfathomable. I chose this place because a) it takes my insurance and b) it did not have a long waiting list. I can understand why now. Please go elsewhere if you can. These providers are not entirely ethical.
No clue how CSG has so many 1 star reviews. The people at CSG have changed my life in more ways than I can explain. I went through their DBT program the past year and am now in the next stage of therapy with them. Every… therapist I have met has been nothing but kind and understanding and patient. I feel like I have a life worth living thanks to the amazing people there. Brandon, Alyssa, Victoria, Mike,,, all spectacular people and if I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would
My son has been without his medication for 3 weeks. Every three months he needs a blood test and authorization from their office to get the insurance company to pay for the script. A month before he was out I called and… left messages everyday just for the blood script. Two weeks after he ran out I finally got it and went and got the blood work. Its been a week since my Dr says they sent it to community services group and I've had them resend it twice and still nothing. No call backs and when I do miraculously get a call back they say they never got it or place blame on everyone else. Do not use dr hussain or community services group. Its the most disorganized office I've ever seen. My son is still without meds and its dangerous to go completely off of them. Its sickening they will take money from the insurance company but won't do anything
Bad, every single person working there is following a script. No insight, no resolution, no healing. Just years of wasted time and energy.
I am very disappointed with community service group. They are not complimentary to those who work full time. There are no late evenings hours. This needs to be more effective when it come down to addressing the needs of… the community.
The partial program at this facility was amazing. The clients or other individuals who are treated at this facility are amazing. The front desk is friendly and professional and do a good job. But beware they are doing a… job. My outcome was they helped me just to be able to mess me up. Be careful where ever you go now a days. People hurt people especially if they are just doing a job for their own gain.
I am utterly dismayed by the actions of the community service group in Lancaster, PA. Their blatant disregard for the well-being of their employees and clients is nothing short of appalling. Recently, they made the… egregious decision to terminate a dedicated therapist who was providing invaluable support to her clients. Despite the fact that this therapist was cherished by her clients and played a pivotal role in their mental health journey, the organization callously let her go over paper work. It's evident that their priorities lie solely in their pursuit of profit, with zero consideration for the human lives they affect.
Negative stars if I could. The negligence of this group is unethical and dangerous. They left my daughter without her mood stabilizer and ADHD medication for 11 days. They did not return her phone calls for 4-5 days, 2… days later they claimed she needed an appointment before they would call in her prescriptions , then 3 days later then they were unable to send her medication to a pharmacy because their system was hacked (have fun CSG patients; your information is out there now) forcing us to drive over an hour in the pouring rain to finally pick up the prescription. But wait, there’s more! We picked up the ADHD medication but they still hadn’t, 12 days later, called in or given us a prescription for THE MOOD STABILIZER. My daughter had a mental health emergency yesterday after being left without her mood stabilizer for 2 weeks, and had to call crisis and go to the hospital because of Dr. Amy Ward and CSG’s negligence.
Discharged me from psychiatry through a letter in the mail because I missed an appointment. I take a black box warning med that can cause serious problems if I’m not taking it every day at the same time at a specific… dosage increase, so when I end up in the hospital with a life threatening rash, I know who’s paying the bill.
Never had an issue with any of the staff here. Always helpful. They go out of the way to help you.
Everyone here are super nice and super friendly. I am very satisfied with the therapist I have and I enjoy coming here very much.
Called here and no one called me back. A joke
Great doctors and great staff very helpful and also they have people who speak Spanish. Recommend!!!
Sometimes ok but been out of one med for months cause know on will call back for preotherazation. So out of one med for months
Very good director. He was very thorough, kind, and answered all my questions. I respect this place very much.
Great Organization
