The facility address is 1425 West Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309. Broward County covers this area. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

Compassion Behavioral Health – Fort Lauderdale Reviews and Ratings
Personal accounts of Compassion Behavioral Health sit in this section. Patterns across several reviews, such as repeated comments about communication or waiting times, are a better guide than any single account.
Don’t send your loved ones here. Rude, unprofessional staff who should not be working with mentally vulnerable people who are finally looking for help only to be disrespected and mistreated
The experience was great and they do everything to make sure your life isn't interrupted. The staff is compassionate and they help to uncover more issues then may have been previously known or expected.
Compassion Behavioral Health is great. They helped me through so much during the most difficult time in life. Highly recommend their care. Tyler, Debbie, and Monya have been instrumental In my recovery.
An exceptional treatment center with an amazing team. The facility is clean, safe, and incredibly supportive. Every clinician and staff member goes above and beyond to provide compassionate care. Truly a 5-star program… that has played a critical role in my loved one’s life and future. We are so grateful for this place!
This has been my first time in treatment and it truly was such an amazing experience with everyone being welcoming, supportive, and caring. Special thanks to our case management team for their endless help and making… sure all my important needs were met and addressed.
My experience at Compassion Behavioral Health Treatment Center was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The staff created a supportive environment where I… could focus on both my recovery and my mental health, and the dual diagnosis program was exactly what I needed. A special thank you to my case manager, Tyler, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. He was compassionate, knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions or help with anything I needed. Tyler made sure I had the resources and support necessary for a successful transition, and his dedication made a lasting impact on my recovery journey. Everyone at the facility treated me with kindness and professionalism, and I always felt like my well-being was their top priority. I left with valuable tools, renewed hope, and confidence in my future. I highly recommend Compassion Behavioral Health Treatment Center to anyone seeking treatment for substance use and mental health. It was truly a five-star experience, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they did for me.
The "doctors" are terrible and the psychiatrist is not even a real psychiatrist and very rude. The group therapy is horrible and there are up to 25-30 clients in each group who are mostly sleeping or vaping the entire… time. The only good part was the therapists, but they don't even lead any groups and the groups are mainly led by random interns. Highly don't recommend this place for mental health treatment. I have bipolar, borderline personality disorder, ADHD, and OCD and none of them were better by the end of the treatment and I actually left early to find a better place.
we are grateful to the folks at Compassion. Will Holland was A++ for his help in finding a sober living facility and sharing his thoughts. The counseling staff was awesome, Monya, God bless you; To everyone at… Compassion: You made a difference in our lives and we are grateful.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Re: Active Duty Military & Veterans I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Compassion Behavioral Health. Their website prominently displays both the TRICARE and Veterans logos, which reasonably leads… military families to believe they accept and support TRICARE beneficiaries. However, when I contacted them seeking care for my son, I was told they would not accept him because “it takes six months to get payment from TRICARE” If a provider is unwilling to treat active-duty military family members due to reimbursement concerns, they should be transparent about that. Displaying military-related logos while refusing to see eligible beneficiaries is misleading and creates unnecessary frustration for families who are already trying to access much-needed mental health services. I believe Compassion Behavioral Health should either honor the impression they are giving military families or remove the TRICARE and Veterans logos from their website. Additionally, if they are not willing to accept active-duty family members covered by TRICARE, their listing in the TRICARE provider directory should be reviewed so other military families do not waste valuable time seeking care that ultimately will not be provided. Mental health treatment is difficult enough to access without being sent down the wrong path by inaccurate or misleading information. I hope they address this issue for the sake of military families seeking help.
Don’t rush to send your loved one here. They say they are a mental health residential but cannot handle a client with mental health issues. My son was there 4 days and they baker acted him because ‘he was not… participating in therapy’ - he was actually going to groups and exhibited some ‘crazy’ behaviors they said which were nothing more than silly behavior of a client that is on the autism spectrum and trying to adjust to a new place not feeling comfortable. Baker acting is their way of getting rid of the patient. They do more harm than good. Obviously do not understand neurodivergent. They did not even call us the family. I found out because my son called me from the hospital. They gave very few details to support a baker act. Even the psychiatrist who saw him did not understand it either. They obviously have a certain type of client they want there and beware if your loved one does not fit that profile. The clinical director could not even take the time to call us but transmitted information by email to the Therapist who was tasked to let us know when we called to find out what happened. How unprofessional and uncaring. To anyone who asks I will never recommend Compassions Behavioral health.
I have the best of people guiding me in the right path with the right medication but to cut it short my family talks to me now that I'm getting the treatment I need never going to find a group of people better than this
I really enjoyed my time with CBH. The counselors and therapists were exemplary and the facilities and housing were A+. The therapeutic process was great and I learned a lot. I'm going to use these growth skills to make… my life better.
Honestly, I can’t thank Compassion Behavioral Health enough. I’m thankful I ended up coming here. I went through both their PHP and IOP programs, and it completely turned things around for me. I’ve finally reached a… level of clarity that I didn't think was possible. What really stood out to me was how comfortable I felt. I’m usually not the type to talk about this stuff, but the facilitators and the people there made it easy to just speak up and share. Everyone there genuinely helped me understand what it actually means to do the work on yourself and really process things. Especially the groups. Shout out to Will and Greg who were extremely helpful in my recovery. I’m really grateful for this place. If you're worried about where to go, I highly reccomend this facility.
When starting PHP (I did not want to go at all😭) I was very apprehensive on the idea of staying longer than I originally expected. Thanks to the help of my wonderful therapist Monya, my case managers Tyler and Cameron,… and the BHT staff especially Brian, Jen, Tracy, and Anisce, my stay here has been nothing less than amazing. So much so to the point when things took a dive for me mentally and physically I felt comfortable enough to extend my stay here under the care of this company. They have really prepared me for getting back into the real world in ways I couldn’t imagine. From grocery shopping to leading cookouts and dealing with conflicts they’ve made me not wanna leave😭. And the clinical staff Anna, Kiara, Diana (my favorite facilitator), Brandon, Kevin, Password (she knows who she is😂) made me excited to show up to the building everyday. I can say I’m gonna miss this place so much and I’m so thankful my mom found this place for me to go to.
Great therapy the group Facilitators are amazing wonderful building staff are awesome
Compassion Behavioral Health has truly been a blessing in disguise for me. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a team that genuinely cares about addressing all my needs and concerns. The technicians, facilitators,… doctors, therapists, and case managers are exceptional in their commitment to providing support. A special mention goes to Will Holland, who has been an invaluable guide through my legal issues. Each meeting with him has been filled with comfort and insightful advice, making a significant difference in my journey. His dedication and understanding have provided me with the reassurance I needed during challenging times. I wholeheartedly recommend Compassion Behavioral Health to anyone seeking compassionate and support. They have made a profound impact on my life, and I am incredibly grateful for their services
This facility has helped me immensely with all of my needs as far as getting a phone a Sim card and housing. Nevertheless the groups of how professional they are and advance in its own distinguish way. I recommend this… facility to anyone who wants to get into treatment. 5 stars. Shout out to the staff Jenniffer, Will, Kevin the nurse techs at housing, Bryan and all the therapists. All are awesome.
I came to CBH March 3rd 2026, I was welcomed with nothing but compassion and understanding. The care form the get go was nothing short of kindness and respect. I spent 29 days in residential and the staff was not only… incredibly patient but they all went over a beyond to make sure not only my care was a priority but as well as all the other clients. Not once did I feel less than or treated like the stigma of what people of addiction often get. Once I reached PHO the kindness and compassion was very much transferred over! The facilitators, the Techs, the therapists and the case management all did their besth to care for all of us will integrity and professionalism. A special shout of for the techs was Brian, Isiah, Jeremiah, Lalah, Neicie for working over and beyond for us! My therapist Skyler came with advice, coping skills, and conversations To help my self for the real world and my Recovery. Case management Will had my back always doing what ever he could to guide and advocate me through anything and everything I needed for my next steps!!! He seriously deserves a raise! I would absolutely recommend this place as it completely saves my life and showed me what I am capable of! Thank you CBH
I would recommend Compassion Behavioral Health to my family if they would ever need a place to go to get good quality care for mental health and substance abuse. They truly live up to their name as i seen peoples lives… change here. Mothers getting their kids back, family getting their loved ones back, and people finding hope and happiness again.
Program was great
Monya and Will are the best. Compassions is the best!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome and supported. Spencer Jones, the veterans director, truly stood out. As a fellow veteran, having someone… who understands that background made a huge difference. He didn’t just make sure my needs were met—he actively worked to create a sense of community. He coordinated activities and opportunities that helped me get involved and connect with other veterans who share similar experiences. That made the transition a lot easier and gave me a strong support system while I was there. My case manager, Cameron Billing, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with everything I have going on—having a newborn baby and working to finish my college degree. He worked with me every step of the way and made sure I had the support I needed to stay on track both personally and academically. The behavioral health technicians were also exceptional. Bryan, Tracy, Amanda, Nadia, and Cindy all went out of their way to help me with anything I needed. No matter the situation, they were always willing to step in, offer support, and make sure I was taken care of. Their consistency, patience, and willingness to help made a big difference in my day-to-day experience. My therapist, Skylar, was outstanding. She helped me work through my problems in a way that actually made sense and pushed me to recognize the key areas I need to focus on. More importantly, she helped me develop real, practical steps to reach my long-term goals for both my mental health and sobriety. Overall, this facility truly cares about its patients. The staff is supportive, understanding, and dedicated to helping you succeed. I’m grateful for the impact they’ve had on my life and would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking help.
Compassion Behavioral Health has changed everything for me. When I first arrived I had no hope. I was 7 months sober but extremely depressed to the point where, if I didn't do something fast, I was gonna lose my… sobriety or worse. Fast forward to a little over a month later and my entire outlook has changed. I have hope. I'm proud of who I am now. This, in my opinion, is due in large part to the best staff in the business here at CBH. This isn't my first rodeo with treatment but it was the best one. It's because CBHs' staff loved me until I could learn how to love myself again. Will my Case Manager, Aimee and Greg my therapists, Brian my tech, and too many amazing group facilitator's to count guided me the entire way. Without Ana and her staff I don't know where I would be. I could continue to name people but I would be here all day. Thank you for helping to give me the power to take back charge of my life.
