Comprehensive Wellness Centers – Lake Worth Detox and Rehab Services

Comprehensive Wellness Centers – Lake Worth is recorded as offering residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and sober living. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. Transitional accommodation appears on the record for the period after intensive treatment. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Very good facility. Having had experiences with a lot of different treatment centers in the area Comprehensive Wellness center shines with its staff. Breanna The case manager was wonderful. She was very caring available… and responsive during the time that my son was there in the mental health residential. Derrion the therapist was exceptional also. We only met him once, but he made a point of letting us know that he felt that family involvement was important and he went out of his way to make it happen. All of the other people I interacted with there some of the nurses were also very caring and helpful. My son did well there. A gem in a field of treatment centers that often do not live up to their websites. I would highly recommend Comprehensive Wellness centers.

Amazing!! I have six months clean in part to the help of cwc! I completed there 30 day in patient substance program and loved it, I had been to carpool daf and another down south, and was by far my best experience! All… the staff, l Ike really im not joking a ALL OF THE STAFF THERE GO OUT OF THERE WAY, AND THEY DO NOT FORGET IF YOU ARE NEED OF SOMETHING THEY TAKE CARE OF IT RIGHT AWAY! AND IF THEY ARENT ABLE THEY WILL EXPLAIN WHY. OTHER PLACE ARENT LIKE THIS PEOPLE AND STAFF WANT TO COME TO WORK GET PAID AND LEAVE, ITS LIKE ALL THE STAFF WHERE TRAINED IN NOT FORGETING,AND THEY ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND AND CARE, I WOULD RECOMEND ANYONE WITH A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEM COME HERE. THE LIVING CONDITIONS ARE GREAT MEMORY FOAM MATTRESSES THEY ALLOW YOU MONEY TO ORDER GROCERIES, ALL IN ALL THE BOTTOM LINE IS ,( I WAS NOT ABLE TO GET CLEAN ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE I HAVE BEEN CLEAN NOW FOR SIX MONTHS AND I GIVE ALL THE CREDIT TO GOD, AND CWC!

Hands down the best mental health facility I’ve been to. Everyone here is so kind, understanding, and actually makes you feel like they genuinely care about you as a person. The staff made me feel comfortable and… supported from the beginning, and the overall environment is nothing like what I’ve experienced at other places. I’m genuinely so grateful for my experience here and for the people who helped me along the way. I would recommend CWC to anyone who needs support and wants to feel like they’re actually being heard and cared for.

If I could I would give 10 stars. Everyone has been a huge part of my recovery. Starting with Gus in admissions all the way to Mike in after care. The staff is compassionate caring and understanding. I was given the… tools and coping skills to continue my recovery. I have made a family in my recovery here. If you are wanting help it's just a call away

Comprehensive Wellness Center played a major role in my recovery. They got me on the correct medications that were monitored and educated me about the amygdala hijack. What my brain was doing to me before I drank or… drugged. Also, I was educated on great breathing exercises and grounding techniques that still help me today. They have amazing staff along with very clean places to do residential. I felt comfortable and safe and enjoyed groups. Their catered food is very good, also, they gave me a gift card so I can buy and cook what I enjoyed. I continued my sobriety after being successfully discharged and now live in their Sober home where I am accounted for, committed to and an active member of AA. AA clubhouse is next door so it is convenient to find people like me who are recovering. Thanks CWC and alumni for everything. Your Client, Michael Mascuch

A great place for those on their recovery journey. Very friendly techs, my case worker was excellent , very understanding and accommodating, they have food delivered a few times a week, and the apartments aren't bad at… all. Very good stepping stone on someone's journey to sobriety.

If you are coming for addiction, this place is not for you. The techs are cool that’s the only good part about it. I fought with myself 5 days to be there & it was the worst experience ever. Whatever they tell you; do… not trust them. They will make you feel very welcomed and comfortable for the intake. You do not go nowhere so don’t the pictures fool you. The picture of the house on google is false advertisement because if you are a girl you will not go there. You will go to a different facility and you will be miserable. We do not go to no outside meetings we stay locked down 24hrs. Groups don’t even make sense sometimes the speakers don’t even show up lol. Chris was my therapist and he told me “your conceitedness makes me want to vomit” all because I told him this place was not for me. They don’t listen; they don’t care. It’s there way or no way.

I had a very disappointing experience here. While in PHP level of care, I was told I had to pay rent and that it was “the law,” which is simply not true based on my experience with multiple other programs. Instead of… focusing on recovery, I was constantly stressed and pressured about money. It felt more like a business transaction than a place meant to help people heal. Being repeatedly approached about rent made it difficult to actually focus on getting better. I’m not saying everyone here has bad intentions, but the way this was handled made it feel like money was a priority over patient care. I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about costs before coming here.

The facility where patients reside is very clean and modern. The food was great, and all the staff were amazing. Brea, the Case Manager, was amazing. Paul was a phenomenal facilitator as was Liam. They both cared about… our recovery. Mike, the alumni coordinator, has been following up weekly with me since I completed the program to ensure I am remaining clean and in recovery mode. I highly recommend this program.

So from the first day I arrived I was made to feel very welcomed. They made sure I ate and was very comfortable. The staff was amazing, the techs are very understanding and relatable people. Loved all the nurses and… providers. My case worker got so much done for me during my Stay and my therapist really helped me figure out my triggers and trauma and I loved the facilitators as well. Even after I left the staff still check on me till this day to make sure I’m alright. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re serious about recovery.

The staff at CWC is what has them standing apart from the rest. I found confidence, love, discipline, and structure while there. I found my voice. I did the work but the staff at CWC had my back, guided me, and even… held my hand through it all. I needed that at the time and they knew that. Miss Linda, Paul, Jennifer and so many of CWC staff (way too many to name, I would be here all night) went above and beyond their job descriptions to help make me the man I am today. Thank you sincerely CWC and Jason, you guys will always have a special place in my heart. If you want what I was given you're gonna have to search long and hard before you find another treatment center like this one.

Comprehensive Wellness Center truly changed my life. When I arrived, I was struggling and unsure if recovery was even possible, but the staff made me feel supported, respected, and understood from day one. The program… helped me not only get sober but also gave me the tools and structure to stay sober and rebuild my life. The therapists, case managers, and medical team were patient, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my healing. They helped me work through the root of my struggles and taught me healthy coping skills I continue to use today. I am forever grateful for the care and guidance I received here. If you or someone you love is looking for a place that truly cares about recovery, I highly recommend Comprehensive Wellness Center.

My experience is primarily with the virtual IOP program and as far as that goes I can assure you it's absolutely wonderful. From the first time I spoke to Jen when she introduced the program to me I could tell it would… be different. The ability to attend support groups on zoom is so helpful as long as you know how to operate technology and you have decent wifi. I really appreciate how flexible they were as I figured out my new life and how to work my personal schedule. All of the facilitators bring a different style to their groups but each one is different, engaging, and they all know what they're talking about for you're willing to listen. A lot of what you get out of the groups depends on what you put in, but the community that CWC has built has been nothing but welcoming and encouraging through my growth. Paul, Ally, and Augustine especially had an impact on my journey there. The fact that even though I've completed the program I'm still welcome back to group anytime is such a gift I hope to always treasure. Insurance paid a lot of money for me to be there and now I get to go for free? I'll definitely be back and God bless you all for creating this wonderful healing place. In my humble opinion you all are doing your jobs right.

If you’re on the fence about CWC, I’d say give it a shot. I’ll walk you through the reasons behind my ‘why.’ Comprehensive Wellness Centers has been truly life-changing. They take a very holistic approach to recovery… including but not limited to 1-on-1 therapy, group therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TMS) — please research TMS and complete 25-36 sessions during your time at CWC. In my opinion, this is one of their best wellness perks - it basically “cures” brain fog, depression, and anxiety. From the moment I entered the program on May 2, 2025, I was met with compassion, structure, and professionalism that exceeded all expectations. The treatment is intensive, ranging 12 to 40 hours of weekly clinical group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatric care, but every element is thoughtfully designed and deeply impactful. Their staff is not only highly trained, but genuinely invested in patient success. The center is fully licensed and Joint Commission accredited, ensuring top-tier standards of care. The program goes beyond symptom management, as it specifically supports lasting recovery with individualized plans, real-world integration, and a compassionate community. Since transitioning to the virtual IOP, I’ve continued to receive exceptional support while reintegrating into daily life. The virtual program is just as engaging and effective, helping me stay grounded, focused, and accountable. CWC didn’t just help me recover, they helped me reclaim my life. I recommend this program wholeheartedly to anyone seeking meaningful, lasting change. I want to fully shout-out specific people that are my favorites based on their high impact & contributions to my individual success. Jennifer Gniadecki - Virtual IOP Coordinator Marvaughn McRay - Primary Therapist Dana Burns - Dietician Jessica Flores - Case Manager Paul Lawler - Group Facilitator Ally Ruge - Group Facilitator Amanda Green - Group Facilitator Lenee Braxton - Group Facilitator (Meditation & Wellness) Heather Laggini - Operations Supervisor Lesly Puig - TMS Supervisor Lastly, Jason Tunick, the owner, is very invested in CWC because he cares. I can say confidently from my personal experience that he owns CWC because of his passion of it. He genuinely cares and it is evident that he cares about the impact of treatment, rather than solely the profit.
