Eleanor Health – Edison

If I could rate this a zero I would. I’m honestly convinced this company pays people for good reviews, I had the worst experience working with this “team” who didn’t inform me of the things they do and do not do before… I got my appt. Besides that the psych told me she could “see my mental illness in how I interacted with her” her observation was unnecessary and strange, you can keep stuff like that to yourself, besides that they were short, uncaring and cold. She kept insisting if we weren’t a good match that I should look somewhere else within the first few minutes of speaking. Also it feels like a pill farm similar to how a puppy mill takes patients drugs them up and spits them out. They didn’t want to prescribe me my adhd medication because it’s a stimulant but we’re sooo quick to offer as many ssri’s and other life effecting medications because it’s just easier for them. No, you people make me sick and actually further pushed me into a hole, luckily my angel therapist found me medication management because you people, would have rather me suffered alone than prescribe the medication I’d been on successfully without issues for some time now. I do not recommend this practice or “doctors”.

I've been receiving treatment for over 40 years, and in that time I was in many outpatient programs. I try not to compare places because there's different approaches, different styles and personalities. That being said,… this is the first program that I felt like people really cared, had empathy, wanted to see me truly recover, and get the right mental health treatment for how I honestly told them how I felt. Been there over two years, and I can't help but wonder, had I found them sooner, maybe I wouldn't have to go through a lot of pain, and hospitalizations. Can't thank them enough, and after being diagnosed with metastatic cancer 18 months ago I really needed them and they didn't fail me. Thanks so much, especially Marisa!!!

Great service been with them for years w/no complaints. Paula is the best. A pleasure to work with. Shows a lot of care and compassion.

Very prompt and thorough with their diagnosis and treatment.

I have been able to handle my stresses much more with my therapist help. The stress does not go away but I have tools to deal with it in a healthy way for me

My experience at Eleanor health has been extremely positive, my doctors and counselor have gone above and beyond to provide me with the support and treatment I need. They're caring and patient, and always willing to… make time to help in times of need. I've never had a psychiatrist sit and listen to me. It was weird, at first. I questioned my own self as the minutes ticked by, lol. But they actually listened. From my questioning of my previous mental health diagnosis,… family problems, medication sensitivities, they listened. Which you would think is not a lot to ask for from a mental health facility, but those like me, who have been in treatment for a large part of their lives, listening is something you may have realized you've been lacking. My therapist and I grew close fairly quickly, which meant we can attack the bigger issues faster. We always end in a great spot, even after dealing with something hard. They are understanding, and more compassionate than I've ever known.

From top to bottom the whole staff is outstanding,they all listen and don’t judge at all what your going through…also they work with you incase you need to see them earlier or if you need to reschedule…hands down the… best place I’ve ever dealt with
