EPIC Community Services Inc – Bunnell

Editing to add that I was finally able to see the doctor so they did what they could to fix the problem. Just follow up on your request until you know for a fact they are being communicated correctly. I have been going… here for a few months now and the lack of communication is crazy. I called for an entire month to get the prescription sent in fixed. Next appointment I was told “I never got any messages” I called 8 times and talked to the front desk. Called and said my gps says I might be 5 minutes late. GPS didn’t account for me setting at a red light for 3 cycles waiting on a green arrow. I walked in at 7 minutes after and was checked in a 9 minutes after. Appointments are 30 minutes and there was NO BODY IN THE WAITING ROOM. Told to take my drug test and when I get done I’m told I can’t be seen. Then I get told I can do a video visit the next day (I live an hour away). So do my paperwork and vitals and they make sure I received the link. About 2 hours later they call and said I can’t do video. Front desk I guess NEVER ASKED THE DOCTOR IF IT WAS OK! How is that my fault? They block 30 minutes for appointment and I don’t think I have ever taken the 30 minutes. Always make sure they are delivering the message. You would think that because they are a mental health practice they would care a little more about people’s mental health. So now no ride to my appointment and will be out of meds soon. On a positive note Brooke, the Per person is amazing!

My experience with epic has been very productive and positive. They have helped me to view myself in a different light. Michelle has been a great counselor and I would recommend her to anyone who needs help finding… themselves.

I began my journey in recovery at Epic in St Augustine. Through them I was accepted at an Oxford House in Palm Coast and have since been doing my follow-up at the Bunnell office. Without their help, I don't believe that… I would have 6 months clean today! Every step of the way they have been my best advocate and emotional support. Every time I leave their office, I have more hope and confidence in myself and my recovery! It is such a joy to have every team member with me on this journey.
