The first point of contact was with Andrea. She was easy to contact and quick to respond, even outside typical office hours. It was nice to talk with someone who understood what advanced concerns look like and quickly… implemented support. She knew what to ask and did not rush the conversation- she listened. I have been pleasantly surprised by the follow-through of the team she has pulled together. I can tell everyone has experience and is not easily overwhelmed by the overwhelming!

Phoenix was amazing. They changed over to families first and has been a nightmare ever since. If your struggling with health do what you have to but this place my cause more issues then it helps.

Ms.Gomez is the engine that drives this business. Friendly and efficient, she is the best.

Horrible with scheduling. I give my availability and the therapist calls me at work 5 times and expects me to drop what I’m doing random times during the day to log on for a session. Got an attitude when I said I’m… getting ready for work and can’t log on. Then when she does schedule a time she won’t show up for it. I told her I have ADHD and she told me it’s in my head. They’re a joke. My kids and I are unable to receive help the way they’re offering it. Waste of time and seems like they just need the money from insurance they don’t care about the clients

I have always had my phone calls answered and returned. And then the issue I had was solved. I have only had wonderful experiences with these services.

Desiree has made the challenges of provider client retaliations very easy. Highly recommended for anyone regardless or insurance coverage. Rates are better then any app based psychiatric help

Desiree is great, she is always on top of things, always there to answer all my questions or concerns, always available by phone, text or email. It’s hard to find good places that take Medicaid that actually care, and… with 6 kids we are extremely lucky to have found families first and Desiree. She is definitely an asset to their company.

My boyfriend's girl came to us unexpectedly. Both have behavioral issues. I was contacted by Families First before the insurance even went through! We were put in touch with both Desiree and Nicole. The oldest daughter… wanted nothing to do with the process due some past experiences she had at mom's. These fantastic ladies went above and beyond my expectations! They were able to help her get through her discomfort in order to get their jobs done. I'm excited to see what her therapist can help her through! I have confidence the girls can overcome this tough transition with the help of Families First.

This company is absolutely awful. They were sourced by my childs insurance to help with Targareted Case Management, which is a service they offer. However if your child is severly disabled they will not help you. Not… only that but Management will refuse to get on the phone with you or call you. It's been over 72 hours with no call after they tossed my severly disabled daughter to the side like she means nothing. This is 100% a case of discrimination and if not rectified by Monday I will be contacting a lawyer To clarify my daughter should 100% qualify for services based on mental health. At no point did I say she did not have a mental health crisis going on. I said she was turned away bc she was nonverbal autistic. Do not try and act like she was referred simply bc she was autistic and not for a mental health crisis. I'm sure filing a company with yhe company that discrimated against her would help. I'll just take the legal route.

We have 4 Foster Children with Special Needs. In a system that is so broken and we have had a tremendous amount of turn in employees we have been extremely blessed working with Desiree. We have never felt like just a… number or that she is just checking the boxes. She takes the time with us to share her knowledge and resources for our kids. She also brings back hope that there are those who are still in it for what’s best for the kids and giving them the resources and opportunities they deserve.

Family first is amazing! I was able to get an immediate response and appointment. Desire brought much comfort to getting help. I deeply appreciate Family First!

I submitted my referral online over the weekend and called the office on Monday to follow up. I spoke to Ms. Desiree Gomez who checked and informed me the information had not been entered into the system. I asked if I… could call back to confirm that it was and Ms. Gomez introduced herself as the regional manager and gladly provided her name and her direct number to call back. I called later in the day and Ms. Gomez was knowledgeable, efficient and explained the process to me. I needed help filling out the paperwork online so I sent Ms. Gomez an email late in the evening and she responded! This is quite out of the ordinary and I felt Ms. Gomez cared. As soon as an opening came up, Ms. Gomez sent an email very early in the day to inform me of the availability. Ms. Gomez is not only helpful, professional and responsive, she is also very compassionate, a quality that makes a huge difference when seeking services. She is an absolute asset to Families First of FL and hope she is appreciated!

Desiree Gomez was amazing, she was able to expedite getting an assessment scheduled even with tons of communication/schedule issues with the facility. She was very prompt in her responses and I am super thankful for… people like her that care for these kids.

When calling Families First of Florida I was immediately greeted by the Regional Office Manager Desiree Gomez and she was very friendly, informative and helpful. She had answers I needed and she was quick to take action… to help my girls when I was requesting services for them. I appreciate how quickly she worked to send me documents needed and to make an intake assessment for them. I wish more companies were like this. It can make someone's day a huge difference when there are people that show they actually care and enjoy their job. The therapist N. Magill was excellent as well. She took the time to listen to me, my girls and evaluate their needs. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing their services.
