First City Recovery Center – Kokomo

FCRC has been amzing place for recovery. I came here for PHP and IOP and have had great instructors and therapist. Being a veteran and getting teamed up with a veteran therapist was so beneficial for my recovery cause… he understood what ive been through and was able to help me out in areas where I struggled. I was amazed that being from Kokomo we had such an amazing facility in my hometown and recommend this place to help out for recovery and that they provide you with the tools to help you succeed once you leave. 5 star.

The best PHP/IOP recovery center I have ever seen in my 20 years of mental/substance issues. Ty for everything FCRC!

Absolutely nothing but INSURANCE FRAUD. I was told when discussing counseling and services that it was at will and If I didn’t feel it was what I was looking for I could leave at any time. LIE!!!! I WAS NOT THERE FOR… SUBSTANCE OR DRUG ABUSE N MADE TO DO BREATHALYZER TESTS DAILY FOR THE FEW DAYS I WAS TOLD I HAD TO STAY AFTER BEING TOLD I COULD LEAVE AT ANY TIME. Staff asked me why they put me on detox section? I demanded to leave for 3 days they said I couldn’t .. there for 5 days n the owner finally released my belongings that were placed in 3 different locked locations supposedly… counseling JOKE. I was prescribed a sedative that I did not ask nor need and was introduced to NP never assessed etc and then when I finally was allowed to leave the nurses were unprofessional told me I had to wait and wouldn’t release my things but when they did things were missing etc. I was told my insurance would pay for everything and I get a bill for $605.00 for labs???? I am still disputing this and have spoke to legal counsel about this along with the lab company that I informed I don’t even know what labs or results were and the facility can take care of this because it was complete fraud of healthcare and insurance and these people need not try to recruit patients and mislead them with false information and services that do NOT EXIST. THEY NEEDED ADMISSIONS IS WHAT IT BOILED DOWN TO AND I TOLD THEM ABOUT IT ALOMG WITH INABILITY TO CONTACT MY FAMILY PHONE TAKEN N NOT RELEASED TIL I DEMANDED TO LEAVE AND NOT ALLOWED ACCESS TO A PHONE. Being in healthcare for 27 years and treated like an idiot and misinformed after I in depth discussed the only reason I was looking for counseling and asked numerous times if they provide ONLY COUNSELING NOT SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES AND REBECCA THE ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR LIED ABOUT EVERY ASPECT AS THEN I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO JEFF THE OWNER AND WELL YOU CAN GUESS… he never answered returned call nor would speak to me. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

My son attended this place they scammed me out of money after receiving all the money from the insurance company because we had already met the deductible they still took payments from my account and refuse to pay the… money back it has been almost 3 months!

I been here 6 months and gave it my all and I can say that im a different person today... my therapist helped me through things I never thought I would be able to heal from... I have full confidence and look forward to… the sober life i have to look forward too... thank you to everyone there that helped me grow and become the best women I knew I always could be...

FCRC helped me save my life- myself and my kids are so thankful for this place.

First City Recovery Center has a caring staff, a supportive community, and a program that gives people the tools they need to build a strong recovery. No program is perfect, but if you're willing to put in the work,… it's a great place to start your journey. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for help.

I wholeheartedly recommend first city recovery to anyone in need of mental health services or substance abuse treatment. They care deeply about the growth of each client that walks through the doors; by the time I… completed the program I genuinely felt like family. If you’re serious about getting better, this is the place to do it!!

Shouldn’t even be 1 star my sister checked herself in not a court order decide to leave because they wouldn’t take her to an important appointment that she missed more than once because of this and now they won’t give… her her belongings back trying manipulate her to stay

I want to say thank you to this place and everyone in it. I’ve never been to treatment other than here but I know if I had I would want it to be just like this place! The guy in shorts knows how to run a recovery center. My Case Manager Savannah/Amber along with my Therapist Shanna, and multiple team members which would be Danyelle, Brandi, Kal, Gentry, Quinten, Alex, Jaiden,… Stephanie, Cameron, Peggy, Mandy, Amy, Missy, Cheyenne, Rebekah, Dan, Chelsea, Joyce, Erik, Teri, and Sarah especially with her infinite questions would recommend this recovery Center.
