absolutely terrible place. they 110% take advantage of you while you are here and it is not a good place. state troopers called in middle of the night, fights everyday, chairs being thrown, men sneaking into women… areas, DO NOT come here if you are looking to seek true help for any addiction. place is a complete sh*t hole, mold growing inside of building. completely untrustworthy. please if you are sending a love one or yourself here this is not the place to go unless you can handle all of those things on the daily. please don’t go here.

Incredibly understaffed facility. Excuses about lack of funding is the answer you will get if you complain. Medication dispensary is easily manipulated due to archaic record keeping. This place has gone down hill for a… while now. Current director is very inexperienced which does not help things. They are moving to a new building soon, but i feel bad for the people who are really trying to seek help because theyre just being used for their insurance.

Emerson house saved my life. Unfortunately, I have been in multiple residential treatment centers, and Emerson was by far the most well rounded and helpful of them all. I was treated with respect and compassion by all… employees and always felt safe and comfortable in their care. The food was INCREDIBLE! I have never been to a program with so much staff regardless or weekends, holidays or blizzards! All of the cousilors sincerely cared about their clients and their specific needs while in Emerson; as well as for their further treatment. My cousilor Brittany was especially thorough and extremely hard working. I highly recommend Emerson house for anyone struggling with addiction. There's magic in those walls!!!!!
