About Health Care Resource Centers Hudson – Hudson

Health Care Resource Centers Hudson operates from 323 Derry Road in Hudson. The site sits in Hillsborough County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include East Merrimack, Exeter and Hampstead. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.

Detox and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at Health Care Resource Centers Hudson

Withdrawal management covers opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Stepping down into continuing care happens with the same team, so there is no second intake to sit through. What a first week looks like differs between providers more than the level of care name suggests.

Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

What a great team of professional people there. Was greated by friendly staff and met the director Joe during my initial visit which was different then the other 2 facilities I've been to.

These freaking people are actually the rudest people I’ve ever ever met in my whole life, don’t don’t care about well people’s well being, and they trash talk people behind their back, I was waiting for someone and they… told me I couldn’t be here at all all of a sudden.

Rudest people I've ever met tried for 3 weeks to get in and my caseworker had to get involved and they called me and said don't call us anymore you call too much what's hilarious is their people going to this clinic are… selling it lol they are a joke stay away oh and I read other people's posts saying how difficult it is to get ahold of anyone so if the director really cares they have my number they can call me because what this was is called discrimination...

I have been to 3 clinics and this one is by far the best and my last one as I taper. The staff are amazing and very helpful in everyway. They decorate accordingly and always looks amazing. Thank You HCRC for everything

I can honestly say that I believe that this place saved my life..I have now completed the program and I am in a much better place in my life. I couldn't have done it without having the support of everyone involved.

Absolutely terrible place. There is one woman who works in the front office and if she isn't there nothing can be done. Counselors never call you back and then you get in trouble for not talking with your counselor.… They will tell you your insurance is all set and then all of a sudden you have a $600 bill and they have to detox you. This is the only place around so it's the only option I have

I have had my fair share of up's and down's here, but I have to say that HCRC has saved my life! I may not understand or agree with some of the thing's that I have gone through here, but I have learned so much about… myself and recovery! I feel it's a learning experiance for all of us coming here, it all depends on the individual and how much they want the help. You CAN succeed in this program, it just depends on how much you want it! HCRC has changed my life for the better! I FINALLY feel like my life has meaning! It feels so good to be clear headed and on the right path to success. It feels so good to have self control, less anger and being able to rationally think about a situation and how to go about it without flying off the wall in anger! I have learned so much about myself and the recovery process! Thank you HCRC staff for believing in me. ~When the past calls, let it go to voicemail. Believe me it has nothing new to say! ~Addiction destroys everything in its path. Getting out of the way is the most loving form of detachment you can practice. ~ Recovery is not a race, you don't have to feel guilty if it takes you longer than you thought it would. ~Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life! ~Be humble to see your mistakes, courageous to admit them and wise enough to correct them.

There are some people who genuinely care about the clients at HCRC in Hudson . Unfortunately I have been a patient at a few clinics and I'd say by far Hudson is the best one . It takes a little longer to get at the dose… needed but the head nurse is amazing and im so thankful for their facility.

If you want recovery, you can get it here. It takes work wherever you choose to go, and you get what you put in. At any recovery facility, there are going to be people who are not ready to take on full recovery, however… the fact that they show up at all is a step in the right direction. I have been involved with this clinic for over 5 years, and I have been in long term recovery for about the same. The counselors and nurses are super helpful and available, and do their best to facilitate a good program that is helping to reduce the huge impact of the opioid epidemic in our society.

Worste staff, never on time counselors walk in late, I do not recommend this place to anyone, I've been clean five years and every morning I deal with those money hungry pigs I want to start using again,

Everyone here has a job to do and they do it to the best of their ability. I gave 5 stars because of my past counselor and the one I have now are awesome and I can actually talk and feel like I’m getting things off my… mind, also the nurses especially Bre/-/(I don’t wanna break hippa) and Nic/0/- they genuinely care about their patients and I love that about them! I do wish that this facility since it is a medical facility would abide by the ADA standards for a “Medical Facility” and don’t give people false hope with take homes especially when they have a care taker that gives them there medication everyday at home! Other then the last couple things this place is great!

It could be better, they go through councilors way too often. Their also backed up alot so going in and out of there every day can take upto an hour sometimes. So most people end up being late for work or bringing their… children to school. I really wish they would open an hour earlier cause I've lost a job For being late every day. Had to be at my job at 5:45am NO LATER THEN 6am, but they dont open til5:30am.

This place saved my life!!! It offered structure, acceptance, and support to me at a time in my life when I had none. They never pushed me faster in my recovery than i was comfortable going, and for me this made all the… difference in the world. The staff is kind and respectful I always feel welcome. They protect your privacy first and above all and never make you feel like a #. I have a councilor by the name of John W. he is patient and supportive and very accepting of anything I tell him. I look forward to our sessions they allow me to get the madness and chaos in my head out and organized with no judgments. Highly recommend Health Care Resource Centers in Hudson NH. Its not easy to make this kind of change and can be scary and stressful. The staff understand what your going through and they do everything they can to accommodate you in your recovery.

Ok, so I really wasn't going to edit this and leave a written review... but I just read a review that kind of irritated me a little bit... The comment that bothered me was something like "people only write reviews when… they're angry..." Something to that extent... I disagree, mainly because I DEFINITELY take the time to review things that are AWESOME AND THAT WORK WELL!!! Not only that, but I even write reviews that I feel neutral about or just don't know enough about the place or product etc. So, I feel that was an unfair statement. Yes, a lot of people do only write negative/bad reviews and I can see how that can be frustrating, but there are a lot of us that do take the time to write reviews no matter what! When I'm looking to review a place or a product or whatever, I like Honesty and I hope for at least a few reviews so I can get a better idea of what to expect. Also, I try to keep an open mind and possibly still try places and products even if they don't have great reviews because we all have our own opinions... Anyway, sorry for the rambling and I didn't say much about the clinic, if anything so here goes... I'm definitely grateful that this clinic exists and it has definitely helped me to stay off of street drugs. In my experience with this clinic, if you put your all into your recovery (much like any recovery program) you'll get way more out of it. This facility is okay. I won't lie, so I will say there is a reason I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. One thing is that unfortunately, counseling for me is an issue. I understand that they have these rules for a reason and it's part of recovery, but I already see a counselor (which is also mandatory for me) for my "Mental Health" and my particular counselor outside of the clinic also has her Master's in Stubstance abuse and alcohol counseling a.k.a MLADC... So, it's a bit frustrating for me to have to see 2 different counselors for the same exact reasons... Substance Abuse and Mental Health... Because the clinic is a dual diagnosis facility as well as the other facility I go to for Mental Health stuff. But... I decided to suck it up and just do it because I tried multiple times to make some kind of agreement with both facilities, but neither one of them was willing to do that. I guess it's because of State protocol or something? I don't know? So, I eventually just gave in and had to move my schedule around so I can literally sit in an office for an hour or so and talk about the weather, sports, dogs, etc etc etc. You probably get the point.. I get bored of talking about the same thing over and over... But anyway, moving on.... So, I chose to just shut up about it and just do what I had to do to continue with my recovery. That being said, the other issue is Counselors don't last very long here for some reason. So, if you're lucky enough to have a counselor, you'll most likely only have that counselor for a few months or so... I personally have been lucky enough to have had a counselor that actually stayed there for about 5 or 6 years, so that was nice! But many others weren't as lucky. All in all, I gave this clinic 3 stars because I felt that is an average rating and honestly, I really am grateful that it's available to me. And I believe that ALL facilities like this have their ups and downs, so I wouldn't say it's the worst place to go for help... And I do agree with another person's review, that you should really just go find out for yourself... It is an individualized problem (somewhat) and you may have a completely different experience than me or anyone else... And if you are addicted to opioids and just can't get and stay clean/sober, this actually may be a better option for you?? It's really all about preference... It differs from person to person. I'm sorry about this "review"! I don't even know if this qualifies as a review, but I tried... And this is actually why I wasn't going to write anything... I end up being way too long winded and I ALWAYS end up all over the place... So, I apologize again for this terribly written/typed review.

I have been maintaining my sobriety for over 5 years and no doubt it was with the help of the medication (methadone) I have so many different opinions how this program could be better. First off take homes, my counselor… does not have the time to spend with me so that I get the required hours in. Part of getting better is getting employment and maintaining it going to work daily and being a responsible adult, How can I maintain my employment and meet all the hours needed for take homes?, which at this point I believe I deserve. Anyone in treatment and reading this will understand I get up at 345 so I get to clinic early enough to get in and out. I dose at about 545 drive home which takes 20-25 mins immediately start getting ready for the day drive to work, work all day and do it all over again the next day. Because of my treatment I see no opportunity of even a weekend away because I can't get take homes I am caught in the catch 22, I have a counselor who cannot meet with me in my time frame for the amount of time needed to qualify for take homes heck this is a tough job for counselors most of the time there is not enough counselors to treat the amount of patients therefore here is how I see it. If someone is testing clean for 5 years relax some of the take home requirements especially when you do not have the staff to accommodate the patient. I should not be penalized because my clinic cannot accomodate a patient. In addition when I started treatment and sat down with my counselor one of the first things he said to me was this is a money making business if you cannot pay they will drop you. What happens when the clinic cannot provide the services needed for the patient. I do not know but am ready to research and figure it out.

This is actually not an attack on this program instead this is for most methadone facilities out there. The planning, and organization is awful! Most people on Mdne- Maintenance are getting their lives in order, and… have to WORK at all different hours, and distances. That is not considered when it comes to hours of operation, and timely dosing. This place,( like most) does not begin dosing until 5:30am, and holds "take home" meetings on the weekdays at a ridiculous 6am so, once a week there is every "take home" person allowed to hold up the line to fill 7 bottles a piece making everyone who has to work at 6am late enough to be terminated from their jobs, (because no counciler will just come in for an hour on the weekend to have these meetings done then). Simple fix, been suggested, they will not do it. This continues to shy people away from even getting take home's , makes people lose their jobs, and contributes to people prematurely getting off methadone so they don't lose their jobs. I'll never understand why they won't either open earlier or do late dosing for the obvious reasons I said at the beginning of this rant; (people work different hours, and distances)!!
