The fact that I am even admitting to going here tells you im a bit crazy. That said, I have no filter, so I give it to you raw. My experience here has been mostly good. The front desk, well they are human, so they have… good and bad days like everyone. When you approach them with a pleasant attitude you get the same in return. The nurses are extremely sweet, good people. The dr? He has been a bit of a kook himself at times. The pharmacy, very nice people, even when I didn't pick up because I had to work, like 3 weeks later, no attitude at all. I appreciate you all that have to deal with us crazies. I have seen people come in and snap on the staff, and they handled it as well as could be expected. Bottom line. Attitude is everything. Be nice and they will be nice.
If Riviera were less Estrella's, I'd give it less. I was there for about 8 or 9 years and I left worse off than when I started. I also appreciate the service because it's free, but if it doesn't work, what's the point… of wasting our time?
Two stars due to the fact that it is a free service and still helpful in some form. Honestly, every time I go with my partner, the organization makes a mistake. Whether it’s sending his medication, seeing the doctor, or… bloodwork, they make crucial errors. Right when you enter, the front desk workers ask why you're there, they have no idea, unlike a regular office. Their system is completely disorganized, possibly due to the amount of clients but still, they can hire more people. If you have no insurance and are in need of dire help, it’s worth a try. If you have insurance or another option.. I wouldn’t come here.
The people upfront are rude, passive aggressive, and insensitive to the plight of the people attending the clinic. Nurse Murphy and nurse Marcia behave as if they were paid by private entities to be there. Nurse Murphy… has shown me pictures of himself without a shirt. Frankly, he and Marcia's vibe come off as if they are always trying to catch people. I hate going there.
The Pharmacy sign states that they are closed from 1:30-2:00 for lunch. It’s 2:18 and they remain closed. I hear activity inside but they are not yet opened. There are others in line behind me as well. I have a very… limited amount of time to pick up this prescription and unfortunately I unnecessarily lost nearly 20 minutes simply standing in front of a shuttered pharmacy window that should have been open, per their own signage.
Refusing to listen to patients and not taking patients rights seriously
I’ve been a patient for years and they constantly have me wait hours, very disrespectful, terrible doctors, you lost a patient
Henderson clinic failed my moms care over the years as a caretaking I have struggled and suffered severe hardship due to a lack in care for the mentally ill. My mother was hospitalized and needed follow up care Post… hospital discharge. I contact Henderson’s clinic and was advised my mothers Dr. Freidman had stop practice so they set an appointment for 12/13/24 @ 9:40 am with Dr. Courtney for post discharge follow up care. Upon the day of the appointment Henderson advised me they have closed my mom’s case with no explanation. I don’t wish to move forward with this entity because I’ve been caretaking for my mom since I was 13 years old and I am now 31 years of age. Over the years with Henderson we always suffer due to there negligence towards the mentally ill, there’s always a break in coverage. This is sad 😢 as I have to now search for a new doctor and await an appointment post hospital discharge with no medication. Thank you very much
Have my daughter who developed a mental condition, and HB always there for her is amazing how they do all in their capacities , profession,to treat a person with dignity ,and more the CSU which is a new building located… on the side they are, all staff striving to be the best and they are ,I am so glad to see how experts they are.Best in Fort Lauderdale 33312.Gob bless America.
They try…that’s all I can say about this place
Very caring and wonderful people that work here
They do social work but they need to clean. This place is filthy.
After my appointment, I left Henderson and was waiting for an Uber. The secretary called me on my cell phone and said dr. Ismail said you weren't seen today why? I had just left her office and she didn't remember me or… she's just a narcissist she's just a narcissist
Maria Cepeda was very empathic therapist and helpful to me, thanks:)
henderson has no really compassion for their patients, if you missed an appointment due to different factors, they don't refill your meds or they offer a long after reschedule appointment or they close your case with… your therapist, not to mention the front desk staff, it's not professional and really rude 👇🏻🌿
I went to pick up my mom who didn’t have a cell phone and the people at the counter were very rude. I’m king and respectful so I was confused as to why the treatment was so neglectful. Especially in a facility such as
I was told by the police to go to Henderson and talk to the counselors there because I was harming myself. Only to get turned away I guess because I'm not a patient. When you go looking for help and they deny you where… do you turn next? I'm done with it all at this point... Whatever happens, happens now.....
They do good work ..but this place is filthy
This place is the worst place to go for any thing i wish i had the name and number of ther person that goes over all of them i believe there is something not right going on in there.
Attempted to schedule an appointment for my son, the lady told me not to make one to go in because it’s faster…..this place is a joke. Go somewhere else. Everyone in there is absolutely clueless. It’s for someone to go… there with a hidden camera to really expose how terrible this place truly is behind closed doors.
This a great place that helps out mentally sick patients.
Bad experience. After waiting for 1.5 hour for a quick answer, the assistant to Mrs.Robert said that I have to come another day or wait for another 2 hour bcz she has patiens to help. So it means 3.5. hrs. waste of my… time.
I like the dr miss torres i hope i spell the name right .😜the only complaint is takes too long to se the dr
I really wish I could give no stars! This has to be the worst mental health facility! My mother is a patient, she contacted the center and let them know she was a new patient who just moved and her meds would be running… out in 30 days. they told her if it runs out before her appointment to call a crisis hotline. When she finally saw the psychiatrist, she had to wait over 2 hours for the appointment. And then the nurse practitioner asked if she minded if she ate her sub during the session, mind you she had been waiting for so long and through her lunch time. She was yawning the entire time, would not look at her last doctor's notes and just prescribed what my mother was on. She got many of the dosages incorrect, which is frightening. Luckily my mother is capable of knowing her own dosages, whereas someone who may not be as mentally stable might unknowingly take the dosages and hurt themselves. Her next appointment, with the therapist. The therapist was nodding off during the session, actually falling asleep! I cannot believe how they treat people in this place! My dog gets treated better at the vet. The next visit they have her wait over 1 hour and she had to be somewhere else and could not wait any longer... Well that's it, I will help her find a new center. Do not let your loved ones go there!
