They are great very helpful and super nice
The staff disposition was a especially beautiful, very professional, very caring and very understanding
Horrible Place!! The facility on Prospect Road has a nurse practitioner parading as a psychiatrist who has no formal training , only online courses. Discovered they had their own clinic in the area but it went under. No… surprise. Florida health care is disgusting. Similar issues in other fields of medicine.
Practice's essential keys with tolerance, I appreciate HBH'FT !! RANGING FROM GOOD TO GREAT EARLY & LATE
I have to mention that my visit there with the help of polite young lady by the name Keyonnie was so Professional thanks
Sucks
First after loosing so much in life and being depressed. I was sent here. First it was nice and then after they think u ok. Before 30 day with a case worker they will let u go. I'm still struggling and told them I was… banded. They say go home. But to where I say. So I was release from case manager. Now on a list again for a case manager when I had one. If ur more able to be stabled and starting g to do well. They will.let u go and say no to any help u need. They only help those that r more druggy and lie from h stability then those that do want to do good. I was given to a hassen women home but a man was sleeping in my room as a roommate so I lifted and said they help me get home but have to get rid of my animal and then I got it taken and ask for help to to door became close. So still homeless. Only gotten meds but back on the streets. So becareful coming here..there's reason why others aren't staying or loud and upset. Be aware of ur surroundings and Fernanda was my case manager. I was so hurt on many things here. Too much gossiping and talking but barley any actions to all they say they r ok doing. Again be aware.
Henderson Behavioral Health is an invaluable resource for the South Florida community. They provide a wide range of behavioral health services, including crisis intervention, housing support, and therapy for individuals… and families. Their commitment to helping those in need is truly commendable. The staff is professional, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference. From the therapists to the case managers, everyone works tirelessly to ensure clients receive the support they need. I’ve personally witnessed the positive impact their programs have on individuals struggling with mental health challenges, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about their clients’ well-being.
for a clinic that has "compassionate" on the back of their appointment cards the compassion or care i have been shown was little to none. i was told i was going to see a psychiatrist to get diagnosed but the woman i… saw, Lilieen Emilior, was the most unprofessional, uncompassionate, rudest, woman i have met who isnt even a psychiatrist. i was looking to get diagnosed for adhd and autism and she told me that they would've caught that in schooling and at my stage of life shouldn't be looking for it, suggested i find adhd medication in the streets, preached the bible to me out of nowhere, and was overall a terrible counselor. if i could give this place -5 stars i would absolutely abysmal place
Doctor is extremely unprofessional and should be removed from all medicinal practices .Maria Gorelick is forcing teens and patients to take meds against they’re will even if the patient has borderline illnesses that can… be triggered by the medication .Ms. Maria Gorelick has even gone as far as to intrude on family matters by contacting family guardians suggesting to kick their kids out at 18 if they refuse to take medication .This is very unprofessional and is against the practice of rehabilitation towards mental illness and other disorders .Maria Gorelick should be looked into or removed entirely from practicing any mental or behavioral rehabilitation. Medical director Maria Gorelick also prescribe medication to me that conflicted with my rare heart condition tetralogy of fallot and and only change it after the medication was already in my system and prescribe for months. As someone that is licensed for 40+ years I don’t see why that was a mistake and why she didn’t take my heart condition as a caution with that.
If you are a parent and is having problems with a teenager who has mental health problems, this organization is not going to help you. If you are a Christian please look for support from your church or Christian… organization. This Henderson Health mobile crisis unit is not going to help you. For one they take very long time to come and when they come they have an attitude. I had a middle age black woman and gay black guy enter my house and offered to place my daughter in a LBGT community shelter. I call about my daughter behavior, because she was not taking her bipolar medication. She curses at me and her five year old sister. Behavior is out of control because we relocate to Florida and she don’t like Florida because she can’t get to smoke drugs like she wants too. There is no support from this organization to help parents. My suggestion have cameras in your house to record your child’s behavior. Your best bet is calling 911, the Cops is the ones that help me and have my child baker act. I don’t wish this experience on no one. Not much help in the state of Florida. Henderson Health is my worst experience in trying to get help for my child.
Late last night, i (22f) was taken here by the BSO after a family argument where my parents called the police and attempted to have me baker acted even though i was not suicidal at all.. by the time they called 911 i… was pretty calm already and taking a walk through the neighborhood to give them space. The police soon called me on my phone and stated I wasn’t in trouble but they needed my side of the story. When i was with the cops i explained myself calmly and clearly but was basically told i had no choice but to be handcuffed & taken with them to either a hospital or Henderson Behavioral as this type of call is a liability for the police and under Florida law they were required to. I had never heard of this place but I reluctantly agreed as i wanted to avoid the hospital at all costs. When i arrived around 10pm i was immediately welcomed and helped by Ms. Sabrina who was awesome. She was very empathetic and listened to my side of the story with care. She asked respectful and thoughtful questions during my roughly hour long intake session. I called my family and talked to them as well. My parents were still angry and we all agreed that it would be best if i stayed there until the morning. They gave me snacks, clothes and a shower. I was able to keep my phone to talk to friends and my supportive boyfriend. They never treated me like a criminal or a threat as many hospitals and of course the BSO does. They treat you like a normal human experiencing a mental health issue.. and they are very empathetic and understand how stressful the experience of being detained is 😭 This morning my parents agreed to let me come home and as soon as I had a place to return to I was given a BCT all day bus pass and told to get home safely. I was given resources, pamphlets and my original clothes and i was out of the building by 8:00am. So yeah my night kinda sucked!! But the staff at Henderson were actually cool and I’d encourage anyone who is detained by police for mental health to come here. It’s way better than the hospital!
Over a decade with HBH / F.A.C.T. Team has wonderful and awesomely awakening, twas for the acts amateur of FACT, Happy Holidays!!!!
They don’t answer the phone at all
The receptionist, “Kenisha”. Is very unprofessional and has no empathy nor does she follow code of conduct or HIPPA standards. I called in to reschedule an appointment I missed and she hung up on me. Not only that, I… kept calling 6 times and she was playing a game with me transferring me to different locations to waste my time. If you’re unable to perform a job that someone with empathy and trauma informed training, then someone else who is more qualified could do a better job than you. Rude is what she is and unprofessional. Rest assured. I will be reporting her and following with this case. No one with or without mental health condition should be treated in such unethical manners.
Bruh this place takes forever to provide service
Porsche that works upstairs in the hope office for Jamie is very rude and disrespectful. She disrespects and degrades the clients that call there.
The front desk receptionist was very unprofessional. My boyfriend and I were sitting in the lobby waiting for him to be assisted. She was on a personal call. Using PROFANITY SPEAKING LOUD as if she was in the comfort of… her home. We were waiting patiently we were both hungry. I walked up to the receptionist who by the was NOT wearing a mask. I asked could she tell me how long would it take. I wanted to leave him there and go grab something to eat. I guess she was upset because interrupt her conversation. She said girl hold on to what ever was on the phone. Rolling her eyes taken a deep breath. I said hi. Do you know how long would he have to wait? Before finishing my sentence she said an HOUR LOUDLY then put on her mask and started back talking on the phone. I said I'm sorry are you in a bad mood? 😳 I said is it an hour total wait or would it be an hour when he is in with someone. She said with an aggressive tone. Everyone is different He could be back there more then a hour. I was so shock how she was speaking to me. While standing there she ignored me and continued conversating on the phone as if I wasn't standing there. I was ready to walk out. You don't treat people rude like that. My boyfriend really need the assistance thats the ONLY REASON why I stayed. SHE SHOULD NOT DEAL WITH PATIENTS COMING NO PATIENCE NO RESPECT. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. There was another young lady that came up and spoke very nicely and answered my questions. I asked for her supervisor phone number. She gave it to me. Thanks for having her abroad to assist me.
These people do NOT HELP!!! I called for my brother who has a history of suicide attempts as well as severe/chronic PTSD USMC VETERAN with addictions. The crisis team went out to my father's help and she refused to… listen to us the family and instead took my brother's word for it instead of following through with the Baker Act. Now we do not know where he is (Out on the streets and will not talk to his family who called on him to get him help) 6 suicide attempts in the past and took his word for it. She was rude and told my father to get inside of his house when he was saying that my brother was lying!!! The system says that they are there to help but they are NOT but they will take donations!!!
I have been with these folks for many years and they have been fantastic in helping me in all kinds of ways. To much to list here.
poor service to my wife as the patient, me as the husband not allowed to talk to the doctor, had to wait in the car (maybe we are a couple one white and one black). No medication provided and the Pharmacy give no… refills.
Set of liars they are not here to help. SO NOT CALL
A joke of a "service". I phoned them in inquiring what kind of services do they provide, and they just replied with "therapy". That could've meant anything, and I asked to be more specific. That's literally all they… said. So I proceeded to ask if they had licensed psychologists and the guy over the phone said no. I continued to ask, confused where this was getting at, what were their credentials then? He replied anything ranging from high schoolers to... blank. He quickly changed the subject and asked what and who was I specifically calling for. I redirected back to exactly what professionals did they have in the building and he said normal psychiatrists. He also did not confirm if they even had a GED. He kept quaking in his sentences, gave me the run around and then started to boast how their team was actually even higher trained and better than any licensed psychologist. He said if a patient where to get too mentally ill for their staff they would medicate them and transfer them to a different facility, not specifying where. This 5 minute conversation sounded worse than a coded drug deal trade. The location itself is very sketchy as well. I have been to dozens of companies who are well known and reputable. This was by far the scariest encounter and by the other ratings of it potentially (most likely) being a money laundering system, I would high suggest to steer far away from this place and go to corporate/governmental funded sources. They're almost as bad as LifeStream. The real crisis is this dump existing.
