This place is terrible. Don't send your kids here. Being the only program covered by medicaid, we attempted to send our son here as part of his treatment since there were no beds available at residential facilities.… Unfortunately, they encourage my son to see doctors to get marijuana prescribed even though he is a CHILD and is diagnosed as bipolar and has a history of psychosis and being psychotic from marijuana use. Before he started this program he was manic from marijuana use, homicidal and suicidal. Including in the intake forms he filled out for them. But for some strange reason they are telling him he should get a medical card. Can you imagine? A drug program encouraging them to get drugs? Absolute insanity. Lorraine is the woman who told my son if he is going to smoke weed anyways that I should just allow it. Please run, far and fast.

My review is preliminary based on customer service by Alissa. When you are looking for help for a ADO (Addicted Loved One) the process can be consumed by fears & worries. There are so many questions that come to mind: I… have to say she had all the time & patience in the world to answer me & I felt heard & not rushed. Which some other places I have called did make me feel like that. She explained a lot that left me assured this would be the right fit & so we made the “intake” appt. It sounds like a wonderful program, we are going to be trying the IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) for now located in this Palmetto Bay location. (they do have an inpatient center in Opa Lacka)….I’ll update review once our ADO starts.

This program is not here to help anyone they tell people who should not know your private life. They have violated the rights of many clients including my own. And when they get caught they lie to the court so they can… look better when they have been caught violating people rights they manipulate the court system so they do not get in trouble instead of owning up to what they have done very inappropriate staff I have the texts to prove it. And anyone who decides to come to this place for help you have been warned.
