HMH JFK University Medical Center – Edison Address, Location and Contact Information

You will find this provider at 65 James Street, Edison, New Jersey, 8820. Edison sits in Middlesex County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

I do NOT recommend JFK HomeCare. They were great in the beginning but my father kept getting hospitalized like three times so services kept having to keep restarted. And instead of calling me as he lays in the hospital,… they wait for the hospital social worker to call to send a referral back to them to coordinate his discharge… and they tell her they are refusing service for unsafe conditions at his home that they NEVER discussing with him or I as the daughter. I don’t even know what they are talking about but they did give him services for three months and never mentioned anything about “unsafe conditions “. It reminds me how much these places don’t give a damn about people and how cowardly , unprofessional, and money greedy they are. They rather ditch a 84 yr old man while he lays in the hospital instead of speaking to him or me as the POA. I find it really disgusting that they took this cowardly route and will warn anyone not To use them and to try the VNA or anyone else. I’m disgusted.

Our mom recently spent a week at the hospital after a fall. She is doing much better, thank God, and thanks to two terrific healthcare professionals, Mark and Kelly at the fourth floor care unit. She spent her time… between the emergency room and room 4202-02. We do not know what area Mark and Kelly belong to but we would like for their supervisor to know what gems he/she has taking care of vulnerable patients. They did an amazing job with mom, keeping us in the loop at every single moment. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for everything they did. We will be eternally grateful. 🧡🙏🏻

Who The Fuck Is This?1 month ago

Patient at JFK University Medical Center (Hackensack Meridian Health). In August 2026 I was told my scheduled procedure would be cancelled unless I signed a Consent for Treatment form bundling standard treatment consent… with a separate clause allowing HMH to use my data to train its AI systems — no opt-out offered, confirmed twice in writing by hospital administration. Separately, my medical record shows a 16-year prescription was discontinued and deleted from two systems on 7/9/2026, went unnoticed for 5 weeks, and was restored with an incorrect start date erasing over a decade of history. Regulatory complaints are filed with HHS, NJ DOH, NJ AG, and The Joint Commission. Documentation available on request.

A shocking place. I've seen hospitals in Bangladesh better than this. I would elaborate but the reviews here speak for themselves.

I wish there was a way to leave a negative star . I sat in a hall ( not a room , and no privacy ) I waited an hour just for discharge papers , nursing staff doesn’t ask you how you’re doing or if you need anything sat… without a blanket in the freezing cold hospital since 11:25 am and didn’t leave until almost 6 pm . Not all the nursing sucks but the people who cared for me today sucked

This hospital is so incredibly unprofessional!. only a handful of nurses care. The ER is complete nightmare , my poor husband was in pain for two hours before getting pain medication.. every time I went to the desk, I… got “ it’s coming” I started crying because nobody would help.. Finally, a couple of nice nurses came to ask what wrong and explained why my husband needed the tests he had. The doctor we had is another story..misread the x-ray, first he said was a dislocation and had prepared a room to do the procedure, then came in and said oh, upon a second look, it’s a fracture. What!?!? You would’ve popped his shoulder and it would be a break or worse!!! Overall, please save the trip and go to Overlook or any place else..this hospital needs a review , especially the emergency staff. The attitudes, need to be turned into empathy and compassion, not a sassy attitude and being treated poorly!

First off this place is filthy. They gave me a bed with blood stains on it.Don’t come here! I had bleeding. They made me wait 4 hours to be seen by the dr and say that they won’t check the bleeding because I have an ob… appointment coming up. Let them check it. The doctor is so backed up and careless

This is a horrible hospital I spent 5 hours before they took blood then the doctor comes and says he can’t check to see if my iud is out of place find a GYN that can take me earlier than November mind you I been… bleeding all summer something is clearly wrong I had it for 4 years never any issues to not check with ultra sound or hand something is insane if you can skip this hospital please do and if I could give a negative 100 I would have

Called in multiple times and it seems they need to do a complete overhaul of the phone system, they either cannot hear me, keep on hold, or end up hanging up on the call.

I had a great experience at HMH JFK Hospital during my delivery. The doctors, nurses, and staff were caring and supportive throughout the process. My delivery went smoothly, and I felt well taken care of. Overall, I’m… very happy with my experience and would recommend the hospital.

Some of the doctors and nurses are nice but some of my experiences were so awful that it’s hard to remember the good ones. We were treated pretty badly in the ER by a nurse who lied about pain medication and delayed… giving them to my terminally ill relative who was in severe pain. The ICU as well was a mix, we had couple of nice nurses but the rest were either rude or just not compassionate at all. I would not go here for myself or recommend to anyone, most of the staff is awful.

The nurses are great- extremely prompt and attentive to my mother’s needs. She had a serious medical emergency, but even the nurses who were unaware of her situation were incredibly accommodating and friendly and made… me feel at home. Thank you girls. I did see several people in beds in hallways, and there could be several reasons for that – all I know is that an emergency room is for life-threatening emergencies. If a person doesn’t fit this category, they’re obviously going to be told to see a specialist or their internist the next day or whenever because it’s common sense. Thanks, JFK.

This hospital has given me the best experience for my recent surgery that i had. i’ve never been more greatly cared for anywhere else. My appreciation goes directly to the 4 west staff. i cannot thank the nurses and… everyone else who cared for me during my 3 day stay enough! I was constantly checked on, cared for, and was never left with any questions. The staff treated me better than i’ve ever been treated at any other hospital, and I will never be able to express how grateful i am for being taken care of so positively. My night nurses were amazing and deserve nothing but the best. I have no complaints about this hospital. You’ll be in the best hands by everyone here. Thank you for such amazing service and support during a nervous time. 4 west will always hold a special place in my heart.

Amazing hospital! The ER was a pleasure. The RN’s, resident physician and physician were so kind and attentive. They helped me every step of the way, I am so grateful! :)

The worst ER. Wish I can give zero stars. I was brought inside after being triaged quickly and over 2 hours later was not even looked at once. All while miserable looking nurses sat on their phones with AirPods in at… the desk. The section I was in had hardly any patients at that. I got up and left without being seen and went somewhere else.

My uncle had a stroke and was transported here . The case worker in charge of his case was horrendous , literally told my aunt “figure it out” regarding his care. They harassed her to leave constantly & discharged him… knowing she could not care for him (he can’t talk , walk , or even move properly). If you don’t have insurance they treat you as if you were nothing . This hospital doesn’t care about patients they only care about a check . What was an already traumatizing experience became a nightmare here .

# A Heartfelt Thank You to the Incredible Labor & Delivery, CCU, and Nursery Teams There are truly no words to express the gratitude my husband and I have for the extraordinary care we received during the birth of our… son. What began as a vaginal delivery quickly became a life-threatening emergency when I experienced a uterine inversion and severe postpartum hemorrhage. Thanks to the knowledge, quick decision-making, teamwork, and compassion of my medical team! Every physician, nurse, and staff member worked seamlessly together, remaining calm under immense pressure while providing exceptional medical care. Even in the most frightening moments, I always felt that I was in the best hands. I would especially like to recognize the following individuals: Amanda (Labor & Delivery) Autumn (Nursery) Toni (Labor & Delivery) Dianne (Labor & Delivery) Shena (CCU) Dr. Riccardo Dr. Albert Chan (OBGYN in South Plainfield) Nurse Alexa (postpartum) Bdjina V. (Pospartum) Lead Labor & Delivery Nurse (whose name I unfortunately cannot remember) Because of each of you, I have the opportunity to watch my son grow up, and that is a gift my family will never take for granted. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you do for your patients and their families. You are true heroes, and we will be forever grateful. The McCracken Family ♥️

I was at this hospital for a head injury we arrived here at 6:00 pm for a severe head injury, the initial nurse was extremely pleasant but the emergency room of this hospital has no urgency at all they take their sweet… time and drag their feet as a team overall something has to give I understand you guys may be busy but nurses rolling their eyes at you, not taking you seriously and elongated wait times have to stop because it can lead to problems with a individuals health. This was not a good experience at all 4 hours for a doctor to see you and perform a cat scan is insane…..

Horrible. We a are in the er. Nutse has a shotty attitude. I understand it's busy. I understand you might be overwhelmed but this is your job. You chose this job do it with integrity care and respect for your patients.… Dr is busy understandable. Thry can't take 2 minutes do a quick assessment and get my poor husband something for the pain while he waits for you to have time to send out orders? He's in agony. You have the choice of making him more comfortable. Unbelievable. No wonder they have such a horrible rating.
