HMH JSUMC – Neptune Detox and Rehab Services
HMH JSUMC – Neptune is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

HMH JSUMC – Neptune Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 61 Davis Avenue, Neptune, New Jersey, 7753. The city lies within Monmouth County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Excellent in every way, sometimes waiting is a little stressful, but worth it.Dr.Mencel is the best.
It is, as far as I know, administrative services for patients, along with pre-testing for future procedures. Wait time is not that long for any of the services offered. The staff in any department are always friendly,… helpful and efficient.
What a great experience we had at this hospital. My husband had to go for preop tests and we didn’t have an appointment. We arrived on a Saturday at 9AM and we were out of there by 10. He needed bloodwork and an EKG. It… was amazingly efficient and the staff is fantastic. Absolutely was a great experience!!!
Beautiful building pleasant people nice care.
I am writing to report an incident that occurred today while I was in the building for hydration treatment. As I approached the elevator and attempted to enter, the door unexpectedly closed and struck me directly in the… chest. The door did not stop or reopen as elevators normally do when someone is entering. Because of this, I asked the young woman who was standing by the controls if she had attempted to close the door. She denied doing so. At that point, another woman who was with her became verbally aggressive toward me. I made it clear that I did not want to argue and asked that the situation simply be left alone, as the incident had already happened and there was no reason to escalate it. Despite this, both women continued to speak toward me in an aggressive manner. When the elevator doors opened, one of the women yelled for security. A security guard responded and immediately approached me in a confrontational manner, without first asking what had happened or addressing the situation with the other individuals involved. I found this response inappropriate and concerning, as the situation appeared to be assumed without any attempt to gather facts. This experience was both upsetting and unnecessary, especially while I am here as a patient receiving medical care. I would strongly recommend that staff and security personnel receive additional training on de-escalation, professionalism, and how to approach situations objectively rather than assuming fault. Additionally, the elevator itself should be inspected. Elevator doors should not close with enough force to strike someone entering, and this could potentially cause injury to other patients or visitors. My primary concern is ensuring that both patient safety and respectful treatment are prioritized moving forward.
I don't know where else to share this, mind you I did try to report it earlier today while there . . . the elevators, for a 10:15A.M. appointment were gross!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get it, things happen, but since they are… dirty, I wanted to "gel" my hands when I got off. Both, the first and second gel dispenser would NOT work. They both made the noise like something was coming out, and they were both filled, but nothing came out, even after trying multiple times. But, it gets worse. When I asked the security guard for a comment card, and told him what I just described above, he shrugged his shoulders. I then told the receptionist who checked me in for my doctor's appointment. The receptionist agreed that the elevators are gross. Then while leaving, I stopped at the service desk again. There were two workers sitting there, both pleasant, but did not care at all. One barely wanted to hear me, and replied, about the elevators, "yea, because staff take them to other buildings." Where do I go with this besides here?!
The Pediatric department was wonderful!!!! 10/10! The parking situation here needs a facelift and more spots for visitors
It's such a pleasure to be under the care of Dr. Patel (Breast Surgery) in Hope Tower. I came to this facility after a horrible experience at Sloan-Kettering and a botched surgery. Dr. Patel has been a godsend. The… staff in Dr. Patel's office are also fantastic and a pleasure to receive treatment from. I feel so fortunate that the horrible care I received from Sloan has been turned around and I continue to progress through treatment.
First time here. Getting a CT scan. Great phone help setting up appointment and great followup help reminding me of my appointment. Even gave great directions to the facility. Building is beautiful, staff super… friendly, new machine and super clean. And fast, very fast - was in and out in 20 minutes. So far I'm impressed and highly recommend HOPE.
The service that they provide is great… I have great experience through all my treatments doctors nurses all the people involved very attentive and polite…. But the valet parking are the worse service ever they occupied… the majority of the parking spots they drive the cars like racing cars
DoNOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE. My two year old went they couldn’t get his blood told me he was dehydrated when he wasn’t also told me they couldn’t complete the test because he’s a jumpy kid and needed sedation when in… reality they missed and then blew both veins after telling me they didn’t it was then confirmed at another lab the veins were in fat blown and my son was badly bruised. The staff just argues with you and was rude. I called a supervisor to complain
Today I had an appt With Dr. K HU IN ENDOCRINOLOGY..SHE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ! TOOK HER TIME, TALKED TO ME LIKE A HUMAN( I am a retired nurse).I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED AND WILL REFER HER TO MANY THANK YOU DR HU FOR… YOUR KINDNESS AND BEDSIDE MANNER. MEANS MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!
Went for a EKG as outpatient. They were fantastic. I have a barostim device that needs to be interrupted during EKG . The girl informed me she couldn't t do it and got her supervisor who researched and figured out how… to do it . Great Service . Thank you
Dr miller and his staff were extremely caring. I recommend them highly.
I was a patient with lung cancer and received chemotherapy on the second floor in the infusion center. I was treated horribly by the nurses. They show absolutely no compassion for their patients. There is one nurse,… Marley, who should not be allowed near patients. The nurse manager, Kim, is no help either. Very rude and ignorant. Stay away unless you want to be treated like trash.
The pediatric psychiatrist we see is fantastic. As long as we don’t need anything in between sessions and don’t need to reschedule or make an emergency appointment it’s all fine. Trying to get a hold of anyone is next… to impossible. You’re transferred many times, hung up on, finally get to leave a message but don’t expect anyone helpful to call you back. At best IF you do get a call back it’s never from your Dr but the receptionist go to is I can make you an appointment to come in in a few weeks to get an answer to your question or move forward to an already agreed upon medication increase that is much needed. It is horrible how little compassion or basic common sense comes out of a mental health office.
Horrible phone system that keeps you in a loop and operators that are clueless. Just waited over 20 minutes and still not getting thru.
I scheduled my 12 month old daughter’s blood work at the Hope tower as I had seen recommendations for it in a mom’s Facebook group and I thought that surely at a hospital the staff is very experienced with taking blood… work from babies. I was extremely disappointed with my experience. We arrived to our appointment on time. We registered fairly quickly. I specifically asked the girl at registration if we can have someone who is experienced with babies as this was our first time (other when my baby was born) of having done bloodwork. She told me she would put a note in about that. We waited, and waited, and waited (even though when I scheduled the appointment two days earlier there were plenty of open time slots for bloodwork) and there did not appear to be many other people waiting. My daughter was getting close to her nap time and obviously all of the waiting was no fun. People were getting called in about every 10-15 minutes which is very odd for blood work. It doesn’t take (in my personal experience) that long. Were they understaffed? Was everyone on lunch break? It just seemed odd. We finally got taken in the back around 3:45? Our appointment was at 2:30. There were two phlebotomists in the room (one younger lady and an older lady). The older lady was the one doing all of the work. She checked my wristband once as we walked in to the back area. In the room, she checked it again by reading every number out loud on the screen, which again,is just more time going by with a now tired cranky baby. Finally, she said she would take blood from the inner part of my daughter’s elbow. She tightened the rubber string and kept feeling for a vein with her finger. Then she stuck the needle in and had to dig around for a while before she actually hit a vein (which now of course my daughter is screaming her head off). As the blood finally begins to flow, I asked the phlebotomist if we should remove the rubber string. She said no. The other phlebotomist did nothing but stand there and hold my daughter’s arm in place. It took a REALLY long time to fill one vial. Then she attached a second one and it just was not filling up. She still did not remove the rubber string. My daughter is screaming and crying the whole time. The whole thing lasted like 15 minutes but felt like an eternity (when it should have been maybe one?) to fill up 1 and 1/2 vials. To top it off, she bandaged my daughter’s wrist so tightly that it was literally blue when we got home. It was clear that this was someone in training and we had a HORRIBLE first experience as a result. Oh, and then the valet took an additional 20 minutes to get our car back. I’m MORE than sure that I could’ve gone to any other lab and been in and out of there in under 30 minutes. Ridiculous! I would never go back here or recommend anyone to go here.
Seen for a catscan at Hope Tower today. Wonderful experience from check in to the procedure. Extra thank you to Elayne and Debi for explaining everything and being friendly. The "Thank you" card with info on what's next… is a very nice thing for patients.
The place that gave me hope and continues to bring me peace.
I had an ultrasound done at the Hope Tower today. The process of making an appointment was very smooth. I did not have to wait long to get an appointment. Registration was easy and I did not wait long. The ultrasound… technician Courtney was very nice and knowledgeable. She made sure I knew the process and informed me of when I should expect results! Excellent experience!
I have been accompanying my brother to his daily radiation appointments at Hope Tower. I’m not the patient but every day, I hold back the tears when I see the kindness, willingness to help, and amazing care from the… nurses, radiation technicians, receptionists, assistants, and Dr. Miller. I am truly so grateful and I know my brother is too. Thank you. 🙏
Dark times for me at this place but the staff was always top notch and the facility also clean.
