A friend of mine has tried counseling at Horizon for years, to no avail; several persons assigned to him have ghosted him, keep cancelling or shortening appointments, or seem to provide bad advice. He's been very… depressed and anxious, very suicidal, and has a hard time figuring out what to buy in the grocery store. This current stupid therapist pulled out her smart phone and spent the entire session showing him how he could order groceries online, INSTEAD of asking him why he has a hard time taking care of himself. This facility just wants a roster of patient names they can use to bill the state, feds or insurance. They don't actually try to help patients. The therapists they hire seem to have very poor training and don't know what to do, except to try and get rid of patients.

Friendly, courteous staff members. Licensed folks listen to your concerns and support your decisions. A big shout out to Misha and Amber.

My first therapist ghosted me back in November, I was set up with another therapist a week before Thanksgiving and was told he would contact me after the holidays. I've left him a few messages since early January and… still have not met with my new therapist.

The people here are very rude and not at all patient. I needed medical records and it seemed like they were rushing to get me off the phone.
