I valued my time at the house of Hope.
When I was looking to leave treatment I knew I still needed structure in my life so I contacted the House of Hope for their Recovery Residence Program. They have been amazing after I moved in they helped me find a new… job, when I found out that it would be remote they set me up for success in the house. Their structure has help keep me sober.
I felt welcome and enjoyed my time with the guys at the house
So grateful for my time spent here!
This place gave me a safe environment that challenged me to be honest and open with others while admiting the part I played in my own self destruction. Allowing me to move forward letting go of the past by working the… 12 steps of A.A.
Great program just not meant for me
The treatment modality used, is hands down, the best you will find in the midwest.
Figuratively and literally the "Last House On The Block!" When everything else wasn't working, I found the House of Hope, back in 2018, it saved my life, changed my life... and showed me a way of life. The House of Hope… gave me hope at the lowest point in my life. It is a one of a kind experience, a place that will always hold a special spot in my heart ❤️ Thank you House of Hope and all the employees for all that you do every single day! Andrew Wilson
This was the best decision I’ve ever made in my Adult life. I feel so confident about myself and future. The house has welcomed me into the family. They treat me with respect and kindness as well as holding me… accountable for my actions. I love this place
Love it, The staff has been a big help on my road to recovery. They are supportive in every way and are always willing to take time to listen and help me work my program.
Words cannot truly express what HOUSE OF HOPE did for me. HOH took me in when I was in a deep, dark pit of despair. Each and every single staff there cares abundantly for the people they work with and they helped me… change behaviors. Through HOH a shift happened inside of me and I am eternally grateful. HOUSE OF HOPE SAVED MY LIFE… Helped me to reflect and look at myself and begin to work on me, defects and all and I am now 2 years, 5 months and 16 days clean and sober. This is a direct result from what I have learned and continue to put into practice from HOH.
What would you like to know? When I came into this program, I was addicted to heroin and I have been partying since I was 12 years old. I was 26 when I came in. This was my seventh attempt at getting sober. There is no… other place like the house of hope. They did not require me to have insurance. They did not require me to have food stamps when I came in. This place gave me six months to work on myself to learn how to be a productive member of society. They taught me the importance of getting up at a certain time. They taught me the importance of doing chores. They taught me the importance of accountability from my peers. They taught me the importance of having fun in sobriety and what it looked like. I will be forever grateful for the house of hope. Today I have a five-year-old son who has never seen me drunk or high! P.S - during this review brought tears to my eyes…
The House of Hope saved my life! I have been to many other treatment programs throughout my battle with substance abuse; and nothing has compared to the magic of HOH.
I can’t express the gratitude that I have for the House Of Hope. This place truly sits on hallowed ground. Amazing place and staff.
i came here for the 65th anniversary and this was amazing to see everyone helping others and just being nice and welcoming and sharing
Great turn out at the 65th anniversary! Great food and amazing, nice people!
Gave me the tools I need To be a productive person in society
The House of Hope saved my life. I came there completely broken, ready to give up on life, and they taught me how to live again. The staff is amazing, the group therapy is amazing, the counselors are amazing, the food… is amazing. If giving more than 5 stars was an option, I would give more. Its hard to leave a review for a place that saved your life. I recommend House of Hope every time someone asks about treatment.
I cannot express the gratitude I have for this place. My counselor John Riley was such an inspiration to me and gave me guidance, insight and awareness on how my addiction/alcoholism worked. I was so lost until the… House invested in me and taught me how to do life. Thank you so much to everyone that works there!
