This place is amazing they really care for their patients the staff is amazing especially Bruce
I’ve been here a couple times now. The first i left early and didn’t get everything i needed, that’s on me. this time has been amazing. the groups are full of great information, the facilitators genuinely care and go… out of their way to help, and the client care team is WONDERFUL. Bruce, Liz, Jackie, Brennan, and Robert have done a lot for me to help me better my life and situation at home. If you ever need any kind of help - mental, substance abuse, ANYTHING, this is the place to go. I would send my son here if he ever needed it.
Hello my names is Malik I was there for 5 months ,and i would say there programs is good they get you to realize alot of things about yourself and also about ur loved one this place saved my life so I hope it saves your
Having a pretty positive experience some short fallings but I think my treatment was well
This facility has been an excellet resource for me. The staff has been kind and welcoming. The facility offered a variety of activities and therapeutic experiences. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone… who is looking for the best treatment option to get them on the road to recovery.
Overall, ICFR South Bend is a good place to start your recovery journey. The tech staff is great—they are helpful, supportive, and make a big difference in the experience. The food is okay, and the facility itself is… better than average. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable, although not all of them have their own individual shower. Like any facility, there are things that could be improved, but overall I had a positive experience. If you're serious about getting started in recovery and willing to put in the work, ICFR South Bend is a good place to begin.
This place truly saved my life I couldnt be more grateful for the staff and the care team!
The staff is great! Sometimes you have to use some patience but I will still recommend!
This was the best ward ever, all the staff and nurses and techs were so nice to me and it’s surprisingly very chill, Corwin and Suzy, Precious are so so sweet and helping and supportive. I learned so much here.
I stayed at Indiana Center for Recovery for 2 weeks working through my personal mental health struggles. The Technicians and Client Care Coordinators helped make my stay easier and helped advocate for my needs during my… stay. The techs who shined the most would be Corwin, Rachel, Catelyn, Firestone, Heather, Yaya, Samantha, Tiana, Jordan, and every tech who helped out on floor two seriously helped impact me and my growth. The Client Care Coordinators make night time so much more fun with activities like Game Nights, Karaoke, Open Mic, Bingo, and Movie Night to keep us together but also keeping it light hearted while we work through our own struggles. Bruce, Cierra, & Dom shined so bright running these events, Bruce even was kind enough to help me out by bringing me to the Bio Bed which helped me feel a lot of inner peace and stop focusing on my chronic pain. We were served breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options for snacks and sodas in between as well as access to juices. My favorite part of my stay was the connections and friends I made with the clients here as well as the friendships I had with the technicians and facilitator's. Listening to everyone's stories helped me learn a lot of useful knowledge for my own personal journey. Indiana Center for Recovery is truly a nice place to get away from day to day struggles and get your feet solid on the ground before getting back to normal life. It's hard to start but once you accept your struggles, the journey comes natural.
ICFR is an amazing place with amazing staff and mental health technicians. They don’t look at you as a burden in the slightest even though when I first got here i definitely was I truly appreciate the time and effort… they put into my mental health and recovery. Thank you Amy for letting me feel comfortable to open up and get the help I need and Susie for taking the time to put the boot in my behind when I needed it I will always remember all of you thank you from the bottom of my heart
ICFR was a very positive experience to help discover and remedy the mental health issues that I was going through. The staff was awesome and made me feel at home every day of my 30 day stay. This facility is highly… recommended for any mental health recovery.
They’ve helped me out a lot dom is a stupendous person not jus her but the stuff they care n helped me out they all about u as long as u try with urself
ICFR helped me through a trying time at work and my case manager and therapist (Liz and Amy) helped me navigate through those times personally and financially.
My experience here is a mixed bag, the best part of my time was really all the cool friends I made here. Some staff members are more helpful than others, it’s often hard to find a tech to help you with something when… you need it or they take a long time to do it or they completely forget. The food wasn’t good and I feel like there was a lack of transparency during the intake phone call. You only see a therapist, case manager and Nurse Practitioner once a week when I thought it would be more often than that. You do group therapy everyday with other clients. Med pass takes a very long time every night and sometimes some clients get a little loud and rowdy but if you just stay focused on your recovery you will be fine here. But I honestly don’t want to come back again. Also you won’t have access to your personal phone for the duration of your time here. You have to use the company phone to make calls only unless you are in PHP level of care.
Had a great existence. Cured my depression. Would recommend. And Dom is awesome.
I loved it here!! Staff was ok but DOM was AMAZING!!! Look out for all patients needs and made sure that mental needs was met.
From start to almost finished the staff have been incredible, if I had a problem or need that I couldn’t do myself the techs, nurses, providers, and case managers would help me as soon as they could, most would go out… of their way to. Not all problems could be done right away but I knew they would help as fast as they could. Wonderful people that help everyone they could, plus you can tell that they genuinely care
I had an overall positive experience at ICFR. The staff genuinely care about the clients and many of the employees went above and beyond to provide support, encouragement, and help during difficult times. The facility… helped me focus on my recovery and I met many wonderful people during my stay. There were a few areas that could be improved. During my time here, I was assigned three different counselors, which made it difficult to build consistency and maintain progress with one person. I would have preferred more stability in counseling services. Another concern was the food variety. Chicken was served very frequently, to the point that many residents became tired of eating it. Adding more variety to the menu would greatly improve the overall experience for clients staying for longer periods. I was also disappointed to learn that services such as Spravato and TMS were not included as part of treatment during my stay. Access to these options, or clearer communication about their availability, would have been helpful for clients seeking additional mental health support.
Roxanna and her staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. I have spent time in two different programs offered at this center and these people make all the difference. They make you feel seen and… heard. Whenever there was an issue with day to day operations the staff you see daily took the time to address and ensure that you were heard and follow up action, if needed, was taken. My experience here would not have been as beneficial if not for Roxanna and her team. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
I first came to ICFR south bend on December 18th 2022. I was broken, strung out, withdrawing from multiple different substances, and alcohol. 6 years previous to that I had lived my life carelessly, recklessly, and with… not much concern for my own life. Leading to 3 overdoses, multiple attempts on my life from others, always coming and going in people's lives, homelessness, institutions, and juvenile detention. And hurting the ones closest to me without even realizing it. So when I walked into ICFR that morning with my crazy grown out hair and beard, nothing but a shirt and a pair of shorts to my name. I didn't expect anyone to want anything to do with me. I had anger issues, trust issues, abandonment issues. I was in psychosis from the drugs and my bipolar 1. But when I first got there I met Max for the first time. The owner and at the time, executive director of the facility. He sat with me, looked me in the eyes and told me he was glad I was here. It was the first time in a long time I genuinely felt compassion from someone else. Then I did my intake and met Austin Hale, Austin took me under his wing and was there for me that whole time I was there the first time. Him, Roxanne, Kayla, Bella, Ashley, Liz, and Dino. They all saved my life. And many more people there, not only staff but clients. The group therapy we do there really gives everyone an opportunity to get to know one another and form Bonds with each other. That make it possible for us to have each other's backs and see life from different perspectives. I've also done php at ICFR south bend. Justin, Josh, Tammy, Tyler, Taylor. All of them work so hard and make the house feel like a team and supported. Outings on Sundays. Groups at the facility throughout the week. Connor who was a facilitator but is now a therapist is an extremely hard worker and amazing supporter. Same with Amy. Susie, and Candace are amazing client care coordinators. They truly do care. Melissa and Faith, have looked out for me and made it possible through their patience and grace towards me, for me to grow and change as times gone by. All the techs are amazing, Christina, Heather, Kaylie, Natasha, Ya Ya, Rachel, Sam, Kelsey, Conner, Chris, Lucas, Will. The therapists are amazing, Robert, Melissa, Connor. The nurse practitioners, Dawn, Liz, Gina, always listen and I feel heard and I trust them all. The alumni coordinators, Zach, Kaylie, and Shane really do help guide people after discharge and help them come back if needed. The haircut Woman, Erica, awesome to talk to and does such a great job! So does all the kitchen and janitorial staff. If not for ICFR South Bend, there would be no Christian Cornelis. And if I missed anyone just know I think about you all and my gratitude for you will never fade.
Great place to work with great people including the clients...!!!!
I felt safe as soon as I arrived and they transitioned me through with ease. It took some time to warm up personally, but the staff made me feel seen and heard from the jump. The group classes introduced me to people… who helped me grow so much throughout my time here as well as taught me lessons I will hold onto. I loved the extra classes / therapies, mostly art and nature therapy. Corwin and Ashley were some of my favorite MHT’s and really made me feel like they had my best interest at heart. One of my favorite takeaways were the staff and my peers who were there for me the whole way.
They are the best and helped me in my recovery
I would recommend this place to my loved ones. I learned more in the 2 weeks of being in crisis here— than I have in my 2 decades of struggling with my mental health. Thank you Dom, Rachel, GiGi, Gina and Renee. Sorry I… ended the stay in the same fashion that caused me to be admitted. But, regardless, I have no bad blood. Because I saw the effort put in to help me.
It is clean and staff is helpful. It’s a humbling experience that will help me in recovery.
