Lakeside NEPA Inc – Scranton Reviews and Ratings
For a view of Lakeside NEPA Inc beyond its license and service list, read the reviews in this section. Patients and families use them to describe the admissions process, the staff and the day-to-day running of the program.
Lakeside NEPA has a special place in my heart. Over the past few years I have turned to Lakeside numerous times during my recovery journey for outpatient services. The staff genuinely cares about the clients. I have… kept the same counselor throughout my time at Lakeside because she is a knowledgeable, caring, passionate, and supportive member of my support network. Shout out to Courtney! Thank you for everything Lakeside ❤️
Very respectful honest staffing are amazing over all its a great spot for recovery God bless them
They are extremely disrespectful. They do not comprehend regular normal behaviors. They create problems. Do not go there at all costs. They are over reactive and do not comprehend regular behaviors and blow situations… up to appear to be something that is completely different than what it is really going on. They lie on people. Be very careful if you do risk your freedom because they will try to 302 you or have you locked up for things that aren't even going on. They are delusional. Don't risk it. You do not want to end up in a turtle suit because they made something up that NEVER was even happening. You can be talking in a regular voice and they act like you're screaming and cursing and threatening them and nothing remotely like that is even going on. Do EVERYTHING you can to avoid going there before you end up in some serious trouble over an issue that they created in their delusional imagination. They do not deserve even one star. They do not comprehend regular situations in the least bit. I'd hate to see how they would react if something serious really was going on. They embarrassed themselves visciously. I feel so bad for their children. I couldn't even imagine what they put them through. I was embarrassed for them on how they behave. The people that picked me up were mocking them and laughing at them for completely overreacting to normal situations. I need paid for having to witness what I saw in the amount of time I was present there. I will never allow anyone anywhere close to as similar to that type of people into my life EVER. I felt like I was in the twilight zone for real. Delusional. I wonder what they were seeing in their minds because nothing bad was even going on. Regular life they attempted to turn into complete craziness. Embarrassing. They definitely need like a lifetime worth of training and way more real life experience. I guess that's what happens when you live life with your face in a text book and a classroom instead of actually living life and becoming familiar with reality and regular people. They have 0 experience dealing with anyone that has a dual diagnosis. That is definite. They create fake situations. I couldn't even imagine how they would react in a real situation. Protect yourself. I warn you ahead of time. Completely embarrassing and humiliating. Not once, not twice, no dice.
At first was pleasant. Then they started saying my screenings were positive for drugs I haven’t touched in months and or years. I could understand one false positive but not multiple. Therefore, I would consider being… weary about using their facility!!
This place is an absolute joke. Came in for my individual appointment, only to be told my counselor quit! Didn’t even bother calling me to inform me. Do not go here!
Robin was a excellent counselor, she made sure I was sober and on the right track while also making me feel comfortable in the process.
Lakeside is a great place to find recovery. My counselor Erica and I have a great relationship! Her personal experience gives me a comfortable place to be myself. The community is involved in their hosted AA meetings so… this is a great place to meet new friends and network. Group settings are done professionally and in a way that does not press unpopular opinions. Group therapy can be boring and dull at times but that doesn’t happen here. Marty has facilitated many of my groups and does a great job at keeping us engaged. The staff here know their stuff and can assist in accelerating your treatment when times are tough. As this business continues to grow it is exciting to see how treatment is adapting to the times. Tremendous potential for this out-patient to serve more people and the community itself. A shout out is deserved to all those in the community who continue to support the work being done here. You will find at lakeside a great community of sober people of all ages. The people at Lakeside have helped me grow and stay sober one day at a time. Lakeside takes the necessary precautions to maintain a clean facility for its clients and staff.
Very professional kind people willing to work with you.
The people at Lakeside are true professionals and take a personal interest in seeing their clients succeed in a life of recovery.
Great facility with an awesome team!!
I would highly recommend this out patient program to everyone. They have helped me work through many issues in counseling. I attended group counseling as well as one on one sessions. Lakeside NEPA has helped me maintain… my sobriety for last 15 months. I am so grateful to them and their staff.
