About Lasting Hope Recovery Center – Omaha

Lasting Hope Recovery Center operates from 415 South 25th Avenue in Omaha. The site sits in Douglas County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Ralston. Nebraska draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Hospital inpatient care and partial hospitalization are delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Lasting Hope Recovery Center

Hospital inpatient care and partial hospitalization run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Lasting Hope Recovery Center Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 415 South 25th Avenue, Omaha, NE 68131, in Douglas County. The catchment reaches Ralston. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

I was taken there by the police last summer because they told me I was better off there than to be with my family. The police brought me there and they were the ones that told me that. I agreed to go there and as soon… as I got there I new it wasn't the place for me. Not only did they strip me down naked in front of a male officer they threw me out to the street with no shoes and phone to go on my way... Not a good place!!!

I was put there against my will by thr police. They must have some kickback scheme. I was told that if i excepted treatment they would bill it to medicaid because I dont have insurance that they would watch that… process. I got out. I told them i have no job i cant pay anything. I GOT A BILL FROM THEM FOR 1500 DOLLARS.! I have called every other day as to be respectful about getting help and the documents needed by medicaid. They have not returned my call. The social workers dont care. DR. OLSEN denied me medication they tried to deny me my hormones. Accused me of being on drugs. I was bullied by staff and 1 of the patients. Nothing was done when i reported it. There are often altercations because the staff is passive agressive with the patients. I often felt unsafe and the Dr.told me she would reach out to my dr. I got out my dr. Never spoke with her. I finally told them what they wanted to hear to get out. Oh and if your not willing to buy their brand of religion. You just get the door. The staff lied manipulated me. Honestly i feel worse then when i went in.

Starved my gf and put "being transgender" as a reason for her hospitalization. If you care for someone with a mental health crisis please never take them here.

I about 4 times over the years because my psychiatrist worked out of there… he made it sound like the best in town. Wow… no help. None. Place is run down and depressing, really no staff truly seemed to care. On one… visit I was made fun of by this male aide every day. He would hold up my pills and repeat over and over ‘are you jonesing for it’ I just not care. I always got out after 72 hours because it was always a that bad never again.

Went this weekend voluntary , & was treated absolutely horribly. they fed me more Ativan after i expressed i was hallucinating. they stated they had no idea why i was there to the person who referred me there & still… proceeded to admit me & held me even though they felt i shouldn’t had been there and i had expressed i want to leave extremely disrespectful & disregarding. ive been to a few places due to SI & is by far the worst experience i ever had. they refuse to hear details about why you are there they just want yes or no answers. it was absolutely humiliating. also didnt put my previous diagnosis into consideration to my “treatments” provided no resources at discharge. honestly doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

I have a Court Date in February at which the moment I stand before a judge I am naming Lasting Hope and all employees I interacted with between 5/05/2025 and 1/01/2026 as accomplices to be questioned before trial as I… am Immediately requesting a public defender to tell my incredible factually backed by evidence story to about what transpired during the dates above leading up to the reason I’m required to appear in court. This was one of the worst and most disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had at any medical center. After waiting over TWO MONTHS for this appointment, I called ahead to let them know I would be only SIX minutes late… because life happens. While on the phone, I could clearly hear Dr. Lawrance Danzak in the background complaining and saying, “Nope, won’t see them. Should’ve gotten here before.” The attitude was disgusting. Cold, rude, and absolutely unprofessional. I felt like I wasn’t even viewed as a human being who had waited months to be seen. Instead, I was talked about like an inconvenience which was loud enough for me to hear, and says a lot. In my opinion, no patient deserves to be treated with this level of disrespect or disregard. If you’re considering this center, PLEASE read the reviews and take them seriously. I wish I had! Spare yourself the stress, the lack of compassion, and the absolute disappointment I experienced.

I was having about the worst mental health crisis I had ever had. I was transferred here because my hospital didn’t have a bed available for me. They were very caring, knew your name instantly before even meeting you,… and did the best they could to reassure you when you needed it. The nurses, techs, doctors, and therapists there were amazing! Thank you for helping me get back to me. I will utilize what I learned there to help myself!

Got there like the day before yesterday. And all they were saying was that I was attention. Seeking and that when I have my second seizure? That was diagnosed as AP NES episthey said that I looked up at them and said I… wanted a shot of out of them when that was not true. I was actively having a episode where my body was seizing. And acting like an epileptic episode. When there was no, it's not epileptic, but it acts like an epileptic episode. And they quit they were doing laziness by trying to get a pulse on my finger. And the nurse literally told them that I didn't have to go with e. MS and I just asked the E. M. S worker, if I could come back here and all they said was yes, when I didn't remember half of what was going on and I was having problems at the time with crying episodes, none of the staff were. Professional and even wanting to sit down with me and talk to me.They said they were gonna get their therapist an never did.And then doctor olsen decided to discharge me when I wasn't ready when all I asked was for a unique change.Because I was not okay with the other unit C because I was being treated unfairly by then.Urses, that's when one of them had said.I'll just put you in a camera room and you won't be let out until you're discharged would not recommend this place

This place is not where you want to send a loved one. They failed to document incidents and my wife returned home with bruises without proper documentation and stated no one would tell her what happened to her and the… nurses didn't know what happened either.

My granddaughter has gone there many times and they know her well. They understand the issues that she has and they are Very patient and kind to help her through her struggles. The doctor that she normally had there… took time to understood her so well and knew very well how to talk to her and help her.

I’ve been here like 5 times maybe more? For depression and I don’t like it here I never want to go back here ever again it’s not clean there for one for two the staff don’t care about you at all I had a nurse tell me… while I was crying saying “hmmm you’re doing all this for attention you don’t need to be here” I also hate the fact that the staff are all over the place most ppl that have been there for MONTHS not a few days or weeks MONTHS are upset that the schedule is random and you get treated like a child the whole time and it’s annoying most ppl there are adults why are we being treated like we’re on kindergarten?
