About Lexington Regional Health Center – Lexington
Lexington Regional Health Center operates from 1201 North Erie Street in Lexington. The site sits in Dawson County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Hospital inpatient care, detox and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Detox and Rehab Services at Lexington Regional Health Center
Withdrawal management covers alcohol and benzodiazepine dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Stepping down into continuing care happens with the same team, so there is no second intake to sit through. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Lexington Regional Health Center Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 1201 North Erie Street, Lexington, NE 68850, in Dawson County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip.

Very disappointed…We took my 2 month old daughter with blood in her stools in to the ER, they draw blood 🩸 and after a while sent us back home told us to follow up with her doctor, didn’t do whole lot to figure out what… was wrong with her…… an hour after she started running high fever called them and they said to give her Tylenol….. we take her to Kearney the next morning and happen to find out she was severely sick and dehydrated she has been in the NICU for 10 days now.
I never got a bill from them. They continuously turned us to collections and then I called them and asked them. Why are you turning me into collections after I paid and they told me we sent you the bill and I confirmed… the address after we even had insurance and I always paid and set up payment plans, but even after I set up a payment plan, they turned me into collections and continuously harassed us even after we paid horrible management, horrible billing, They really need to have a better way of taking care of their customers who are truly faithful and really do pay their bills. i’m pretty sure they better care of those who are are on government assistance 😡
The e.r charge nurse instantly had a combative attitude and overall disdain from my presence. Thanks
My experience at the Radiology Services was excellent! I was treated with respect and the concern they showed was awesome. This department is an Awesome asset to the hospital. Thank you for caring.
I felt I could have called in my visit. The staff was friendly but it was like they were just checking off boxes for me. Last visit an A1c of above 6 got my Metformin increased and I was told to test my blood sugar… daily. This time my A1c was 6.7 and it was fine. Katie didn’t ask about my daily blood sugars. The cognition test was weak. Nurse took my vitals but no one checked my heart or lungs or did a hands on breast exam or my abdominal area. From the visit I really don’t know if I am healthy.
Awesome people and great care! They truly treat you with respect and care for your well being.
The Nursing staff, surgical nursing staff, and surgical team was fantastic! Made us feel like we were priority. They were professional yet personable. Great job LRHC.
My husband and I both have had surgeries here at LRHC. We have always been very well taken care of by the nursing staff. They are caring and professional. They made us comfortable and explained the procedures, recovery,… and after care so that we understood and felt at ease. We will always recommend LRHC.
Staff was very friendly and all I saw were very knowledgeable in their respective Fields. Everything was explained before any procedure was performed
Lexington regional staff showed real compassion while I was there. They are amazing!
I received excellent care during my time in the emergency room and inpatient. I am amazed that I received much better care at this small hospital than I have received at larger institutions. A+ care all the way!!!
An example of over priced outrageous healthcare. My son had a cut on his finger. got xray and stitches and was charge almost $1500.00. Charged 300.00 for emergency room and then over 500.00 for professional fees. 800.00… for admin charges. Unreal. Did not expect this in Nebraska. Once I complained they took $200.00 off. Get real. Very disappointed. No other options this is price gouging. Regular urgent care would not have been more than 400.00. Not 1200.00.
I chose to return to Lexington Regional Health Center from Colorado to have my left knee replacement done after having such a positive outcome there with my right knee 5 years ago. LRHC did not disappoint & exceeded my… expectations by leaps & bounds! Everyone, from the clinic schedulers & nurses to the surgery staff, anesthesia, nursing staff, physical therapy, Dr Schopp & Travis Barkmeier did a fantastic job of getting me worked into their schedule and providing me with medical care that was friendly, kind, caring & very professional. I couldn’t have had better care by better people anywhere & with such an amazing outcome. LRHC is definitely a first class facility with first class care!
My husband was a patient at LRHC recently. We were so impressed with the quality of care he received while he was there. All of the caregivers were so kind and dedicated in all they did for him. The staff there were so… friendly and it was a very positive experience for us. Thankyou LHRC we appreciate all you did to help my husband while at the hospital. ,
LRHC did an awesome job in providing a warm, welcoming environment. Great attention to detail for guests and patients.
I had a family member recently under the care of Lexington Regional Health Center and the care was exceptional. From listening to the patient and helping our family every staff member was fantastic to work with.… Understanding our circumstances the staff made sure we had everything we needed.
LRHC has the most kind, caring, compassionate, and professional staff. My family member was in the hospital for an extended period of time. During a very difficult time the hospital staff went above and beyond at every… turn. THANK YOU LRHC for everything you did!
The total experience is great. There is minimal wait time. The. culture is inviting and warm. The nurses and doctors are great listeners and show genuine interest in you and your health!
Excellent treatment and care for patients, keep it up. Merry Christmas to all.
Amateur Hour but in a hospital. They were about to discharge me from the ER without cleaning any of my wounds. Threw a gauze pad on top of it then were about to let me go. Luckily my mom and brother were there or I… would’ve been discharged with a bloody and dirty road rash. If it weren’t for the excruciating pain I would’ve sucked it up and gone to Kearney Regional’s ER. This hospital is a huge joke with a punchline that hurts more than amuses.
I recently had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and it was clear that there was a lack of proper training and leadership. The head nursing, in particular, was… extremely rude to employees and seemed to have no regard for professionalism or respect in her interactions. During my visit (a friend was the one needing assistance at the hospital) Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at this hospital. It is clear that there are serious issues with the staff and leadership that need to be addressed in order to provide proper care to patients and create a positive work environment for employees. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone in need of healthcare services.
All went very well with my visit. All were professional and welcoming. Excellent care.
