TLDR: EMDR with Glickman for Anxiety and Derealization brought me back to life. If you are struggling with derealization yourself, please believe that EMDR began working almost immediately. Trusting her process was the… essential pathway to healing my trauma responses, as well as reducing panic attack frequency and duration. After experiencing a handful of different traumas and a subsequent resurgence panic/anxiety episodes, I struggled with near-constant derealization for half a year before I met her. I eventually became confined to my home and only made it into work half of the time. I’d done some research into EMDR and sought her for this type of therapy, desperate for anything that could help. Thanks to her, I have my life back; I’m able to work consistently and enjoy being present again in my life, have reduced my trigger responses to trauma and anxiety, and came out with new tools that have reshaped my relationship with my mental health. I only wish I had met her sooner.

I truly love my therapist Akeyia, she makes me feel heard. I really enjoy coming to see her, I come all the way from Warren to Southfield for our visits because she’s amazing.

I haven't even seen my doctor here but I really wanted to give Erika a shout out because I had a hard time navigating all the forms and the patient portal. Each time I called she answered the call within 3 minutes and… was very pleasant and helpful. This looks like a good match for me. I'll update the review after I see the doctor......

I went through lifestance to receive some assistance with unmanageable anxiety and a few other concerns. I spoke to two different providers who completely disregarded my side effects from the medications provided and… continued to up the dosages of each medication. After over a month of expressing worsening side effects of the medications provided by the first individual, they continued to up the dosage of the medications. After expressing I was getting to the point of needing to be hospitalized due to worsening symptoms , she suggested I continue taking the medications and at the next appointment we would reevaluate the medications. I then decided to schedule an appointment with a new provider, after I felt like she was not comprehending the severity of my situation. The new provider mentioned the combination of medications I was taking put me at a high risk of Serotonin Syndrome. She then gave me an alternative medication, the symptoms continued to worsen. After over 3 months of taking medications that caused severe side effects I stopped all medications immediately. Living with mental health diagnoses is hard. However, after my symptoms were blatantly ignored for months, I decided that I’d rather live with debilitating anxiety than ask a provider who continually increased doses without evaluating the underlying cause. This was my first time ever reaching out for help, I wished I never would have.

Just a quick appointment, to review my meds and their effect on me. We communicate very effectively, and our conversations are very efficient.

A top notch facility with caring physicians. Without the expertise and knowledge I would not be well. I’m grateful for the compassion and understanding.

Before meeting her, I was so nervous Wondering if I would like her and to my surprise, she’s… everything I could’ve Hoped for and more, very understanding, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. This company only concerned about charging 100 dollars. I gave them 24 hrs and they wanted 48 the sign in there lobby says 24. I was informed in route to an appointment that the therapist couldn’t make it was I refunded… for my time no. I suggested u use other business that care about the patient and not the money.
