Mahajan Therapeutics – Dayton (6300 North Main Street) Detox and Rehab Services

Mahajan Therapeutics – Dayton (6300 North Main Street) is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Mahajan Therapeutics – Dayton (6300 North Main Street) Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is 6300 North Main Street, Dayton, Ohio, 45415. This address falls in Montgomery County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

I was referred here by my PCP and made an appointment, only to have it rescheduled a few days later because they failed to realize they only did Zoom meetings that day. Not a big deal. I was rescheduled for today. When… I arrived for my 9:00 appointment, I was told that the provider I was supposed to see was no longer at the facility since the previous Monday and would not be returning. They failed to call and notify me at any point last week or even this morning before my appointment time. Instead, I had to drive all the way there just to be turned away. Although I was told I could be rescheduled, I’m no longer interested in being seen here. I would rather seek care elsewhere. In my opinion, this was extremely unprofessional and demonstrated a lack of communication and consideration for patients’ time. I would not recommend.

I do not recommend this place. I went here for 12 years and was treated for a condition I never had. I am now experiencing medication-induced/withdrawal Akathisia as a result of the medication I was prescribed.

The nurses call on time and ask all of their questions. The doctor is horrible at being on time even for a telephone appt. My meds that I haven’t had in a few weeks are not sent to the pharmacy as she stated they would… be. Nursing staff sent the doctor a message twice and after 3 days no response. She has no problem continuing my anxiety med and I haven’t had an assessment since Dr. Bishop. I asked about ADHD meds she said she can’t do that without a diagnosis and a new assessment. My last appt she was over an hour late and I had to reschedule. This is ridiculous. I’m trying to get better and this lady’s unorganized!

I have now been going to this amazing office for over 18 months now. Not only is the staff and counselors great but they care about each and everyone. I have never had a bad experience all of the nurses go above and… beyond ( specifically Lori ) she is the very best and as for my Doctor she is one of one. She truly truly cares and doesn’t just do what she does for the money she genially cares and wants what best for me the patient. Melanie is truly an incredible physician and amazing person.

After seeing some of the recent reviews, I just wanted to give a very big thank you to Melanie and her nurse Lori who have both gone above and beyond to take care of me for the last few years. My previous doctor had… abruptly moved to Spain and being stranded without a referral to ensure no lapses in prescription refills was very difficult. They were very empathetic and treated my situation with urgency. They continue to accommodate any scheduling conflicts I have and go out of their way to make sure my medication is sent on time. Thank you ladies!

Had a great therapist for a year or so, she left and she told me where she went and I followed her there, when she returned to Mahajan, I went back, but she left again, the new therapist told me my mental issues were a… sickness to be cured. And I asked for another, only to be told this therapist was leaving too. I called it quits today. A mental health facility is supposed to help you heal. Not create more drama. I'll be writing some reviews elsewhere about this place and no. I don't wanna talk to your director. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves and your establishment. #dobetter

As a mental health facility, this place is a joke. They do not take appointments and the customers time seriously. I was referred here for ADHD testing as a 43 year old adult. I had my appointment scheduled for about a… month for my evaluation. The day before my appointment they called to make sure i was going to be there at noon and to tell me it would be a 2 hour appointment. I forgot to get the address, so I called the following morning at 8am, they gave me the address and said see you at noon. I get there at noon to be told the guy doing my assessment was not there today and I’d need to reschedule, I was upset as I took off work for this and I spoke to them that morning, they had every chance to tell me the guy wasn’t there, but for some odd reason they thought it better for me to come in and waste my time. Finally after talking to the director, he found someone to do my assignment. I was told when I left someone would contact me in 2-3 days with my results. No one contacted me at all, I had to call them and find out what was going on. They informed me I was still supposed to see a psychiatrist. Yet no one at my first appointment told me that. So I schedule an appointment with a psychiatrist, 2 weeks go by and they call me the day before to say “we only have you in our books for 20 minutes and you need 40 for your appointment” even tho they told me when I scheduled it was 40 minutes, so I scheduled an hour off work. They forced me to cancel my appointment then proceeded to treat me like crap b/c I was upset they literally screwed me over twice with scheduling. They made me feel like I was a bother to them, they do not care about mental health. I have never been treated like this from a facility that is here to help people. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Scheduling AS A NEW PATIENT… Michelle was PHENOMENAL !!! She made sure not to rush the process (I had this poor woman on the phone FOREVER) and answered every question I had with enthusiasm and kindness and let me speak… with Lindsey (who was also amazing) to make sure my specific questions were answered correctly before returning back to her to complete scheduling. She was incredibly professional (they both were) and very personable, incredibly understanding, and extremely helpful. She made a very intimidating process super delightful and less overwhelming. I haven’t had my appointment yet but.. Michelle and Lindsey have both made it feel like a welcoming and supportive place so far and I am SUPER excited to see where this group will help take me on my mental/emotional journey !!!

As a nurse with a daughter who was a patient there I can honestly say they are Unprofessional and showed no compassion towards my daughter. They don't refill medications on time and they are bad for updating records . I… would not recommend this place to anyone that I cared about

This place is awesome. The staff truly cares about their patients well-being. Anything you need, if they can't do it, they'll find you someone that can. They have case mgmt services. They can aid you in finding… resources you may not even knew were available. I can always count on the staff. Wonderful place

As stated with the other people in the reviews, if I could give this place 0 stars I would. I absolutely AM TELLING YOU IF YOU OR A LOVE ONE ARE SEEKING MENTAL HEALTH OR ADDICTION HELP…DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. It’s… one of the worst places you can go for help. I had trouble having them even with them remembering my name and what prescriptions they game me. The case worker come and go frequently and one last case worker I had (Kyler) did not even listen to what I wanted and needed. Me telling her what kind of Therapist I was looking for went into her telling me I needed to see a therapist that was her personal friend. When I did not match the therapist that she gave me then it was my fault. The caseworker also told me about her own problems with her boyfriend issues when I would communicate with her about things that were going on with me.. when the caseworker (Kyler) tell me about my psychologist and who she was going to be I looked forward to speaking to her. But the psychologist (Lydia) couldn’t remember my name Or half the time what prescriptions she prescribed to me. When I told the caseworker about this, she did nothing about and when I called and complain to the lead supervisor (Lori), I heard nothing back from her. The lead supervisor (Lori) there absolutely never communicated with me when I had issues with the place. Even when I left messages to her to contact me. It was only when my case was closing that I finally got to actually speak to her. Calling or physically going into the facility on Main St., Dayton, OH is such a pain the staff there at the front desk our very nasty acting when calling or going in. I must repeat that if you are seeking mental health or addiction help for yourself or for a loved one do not go to this place! I will say thank you to Ms.Amber helped the best she could. It really saddens me because I hope that all the people that are at this place are actually getting help And I’m afraid that they might not be getting the right help or treated fairly.

I have been receiving services here off and on for the past few years. Every place is gonna have bumps and sometimes gonna have to wait, but I have always been treated with respect and care here. It's even a bit of a… drive for me being about 35-40 minutes away, but it's worth it to have doctors who understand and therapists who listen.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The absolute worst place to get help! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They couldn’t even call in a prescription after an entire week after they saw me and said they called it in. Went to the pharmacy… 4 times to pick it up and they never called it in. Then one lady TOLD me that I picked it up and I NEVER did. The office obviously doesn’t communicate with each other. I would get off the phone with one person saying nothing was at the pharmacy and someone else would call and I would have to tell the whole issue all over again! Absolute mess of a doctors office! This place is such a joke!!!! Again, I highly recommend you finding somewhere else to go if you truly need help.

Very unprofessional they don't have any therapist all they care about is pushing medication on their patients instead of giving them the proper therapy.

I am looking for a new place to go I haven’t even stepped foot in. The door yet and already feeling uneasy. I called to make an appointment the girl on the phone sounds like a 16 yr old that’s has no clue . You ask a… question she mumbles words that doesn’t make sense. Today she called to remind me of my upcoming appointment . I needed to change it due to my work schedule she said ok got quiet. For a few mins I said are you there she said yeahhh I’m trying to figure this out . What’s to figure out I can’t make this appointment for Monday just un schedule

I transferred to Mahajan after my then current mental health practice I was a patient at abruptly closed its doors. I was on prescribed medication and was extremely stressed that I would not be able to find someone to… take me on within my short window of time before refills needed done. I called no less than 20 places within about an hour radius of my location and the ONLY office that listened to my anxious, stressed explanation of needing to get in somewhere ASAP was Mahajan. They squeezed me in to be able to start my care within the week. My care team is absolutely amazing. From my case manager Atalia, to Laurie the nurse, and especially my doctor Melanie. They make me feel heard. They make me feel valid and that they truly care about my well being. Whenever life happens aka having to switch around appointments, get meds called in because the pharmacy messed them up, to checking to be sure that I am properly being monitored via bloodwork I can always count on Jess F to go above and beyond. I can’t count how many times that I’ve reached out to her and she jumps straight into action to help facilitate a solution to any problem I have. I have multiple family members in this practice including my children. I trust anyone and everyone that love to be in their care. Thanks to this practice they “saved me” from regressing and have helped get me to a point in life that I can truly say I am happy and love myself. I would’ve never made it here without them as a whole. Thank you! ❤️
