Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Ocala (216 NE 1st Avenue) Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Ocala (216 NE 1st Avenue) providing detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

I've been with Quad County for a long time. I have had amazing Counselors. But the one I have now is her name is Melanie Pease. She is like no other councler. She go's far and beyond her job to help me. Melanie Is the… reason my recovery goes smoothly and she trys to achieve and help me with my goals in my treatment. To be honest I thank god for giving me a councler that actually cares about the patient and helps us in our recovery. I believe that new season (Quad County) is a good place for the help we need but having a great councler like Melanie makes life and recovery so much smoother.
This clinic is pretty good and safe but their are still employees that treat addicts insanely rude . As they sell a product you must buy I or course brought money though not exact change. I was told with much distain… and rudeness that we are not a bank and I would have to figure something else out. If you were told this at a restaurant gas station or any other business it would be unthinkable because of my situation a lady who where pajamas and a shower cap to work treats me like she would treat no one else. And seems surprised I wasn't thrilled with the attitude eye rolling and huffing. And also seem shocked she would get out the same energy she put out. The other nurse were super polite. I'm not surprised some who wears shower caps and pajamas to work has an attitude problem and would not treat ppl with respect as she has none for her self. But it is a business selling a product that they take money for and telling me we ain't ah bank I don't know what you thought what your gonna do but you gotta leave here and figure it out. Is rude uncalled for and if I did that at my job it wouldn't be ok so I don't know if it's the clients they think they can treat like that but it's wrong. And just cause u got a shower cap on your head you ain't fooling anyone that it been a long time since soap and water touch you
Best clinic in Ocala!!
The other clinic is much better. If you are sick of long lines and incompetency, transfer to the one off 25th Ave. A dollar cheaper a day too.
In a treatment center where physicians prescribe medications, it is highly unprofessional for a nurse to override a valid prescription based on personal preference. It is even more concerning when the patient being… targeted has disabilities. If a patient is prescribed 13 take-home doses and arrives on the correct pickup day during dosing hours, it raises serious ethical concerns for a nurse to override the doctor’s order simply because the patient arrived at 11:45 a.m., when dosing ends at 12:00 p.m. Authority should never be used to intimidate or single out patients. It is troubling to see individuals misuse limited power to target those they dislike. Shame on them for doing that when the new program director is out and very bold when some corporate guy is there. The misuse of authority in such situations is deeply concerning and warrants review by leadership to ensure fair and consistent patient treatment.
These people need a visit from DOH and I will be reporting them. They talk shit about their previous patient in front of their next patient like they don’t follow hippa. They have gotten SO flippin rude and they are… never on the same page. Always never knowing what they’re doing. Don’t train their new people correctly. This is BS.
Changed from a previous 5 star to a 1 star only cause I can’t chose zero. These people do NOT follow HIPPA and it’s embarrassing. My wife had her quarterly today made her wait in line FOUR different times because… everyone is new and not on the same page. So she walks away within earshot and the new black older nurse talked shit about her to another muse IN FRONT OF THEIR PATIENTS. Said she lied about seeing CJ. CJ told her the new rule is that they have to wait in the queue over and over until THEY get their shit together. Doesn’t matter how in compliance you are. Anyway, DOH needs to make a visit here asap. Also, all of their survey codes don’t work they don’t care about your input
Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I… don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people
I don't know why people go to places like this when you can go to Dr bellum in dunnellon Florida and get a script of Suboxone total pay maybe $250 for the month for 30 pills that you can literally take a quarter a day… so one month last 4 months I heard it's like 20 a day for methadone that doesn't even last 24 hours and you're not getting drug tested every damn day and you're not being treated like a junky
i can't thank this place enough, they helped my achieve my goal. They are a true Miracle and some people blame them because they can't get it. If you want it they have it, but you have to open yourself up tp chance, as… Change is Growth.
have been a long-time patient at this facility and have always appreciated the quality of care and professionalism from the staff. However, I am deeply concerned about the behavior of the new Program Director. Since… their arrival, I have witnessed and experienced behavior that I find to be both disrespectful and inappropriate. The language used has been insulting and unprofessional, which creates a hostile and uncomfortable environment for patients. I believe this is not in line with the standards and values that this facility has upheld in the past, and I felt it was important to bring this to your attention.
New season is a life changer. Not much more I can say it's easy and confident and it's not too pushy the counselors are awesome Debbie Evan and Christian make it great and I am 54 and I never thought that I could go to… this and they've made my life so much better do it for you and if you got to do it do it here
These people are angels and miracle facilitators.
This place saved me as well I need a good sober living house if any are available in the area
They are wonderful in every way possible. Starts w Doug in the morning who is beyond awesome and my counselor Debbie is amazing and the nurses who give us the medication are wonderful. I feel good when I'm there and… it's not like that outside of Quad. Thank you guys so much.
This place saved my life!!!! I am so thankful they exist! The lines are almost non-existent now since the computer sign in was implemented. My avg wait time is maybe 5 min. I'm happy to see Chris, the former maybe… current program director. She is absolutely invaluable as an employee, leader, and a person. She knows most people, if not all, by name. That says it all. Thank u!!!
Hey 👋 I’ve been going to NSTC (a.k.a. QCTC) for long enough & I’ve had the great pleasure of knowing each & every employee I interact with there. They honestly start my day out amazing, make me feel special & give me… hope for tomorrow each & every day. I’ve always been listened to by someone “No Matter What”!!! If you care about YOUR sobriety, so will they!!!!!
You have overcharged me 324 dollars and have been reluctant to give me back my money for months now. Thid is the 2nd time this has happened now.
Ten ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for my counselor Julio, after two and a half years I had surgery and meds at home did a urine and when I went back for my two week take home I had to see the horrible Dr with fake blonde hair she said… mean things to me I felt bad about myself and then said I failed my treatment and I would go back to using drugs . I walked out and never returned, I'm doing great thanks to my family , I don't recommend going there unless she leaves she is a awful person ,
I've been going here for 6 almost 7years and I got to say they saved my life because the road I was headed down I wouldn't be here today
I have to say this place has changed my life when I came here I was broken bruised, and a mess and eight years later I’m clean my life is straightened out. I have my life back and I owe that to Chris number one. She was… amazing and everyone else in there I had the best counselors That help me along the way and I have to say if it wasn’t for this place, I wouldn’t be where I am for that I’m forever thankful
They are horrible people they see me 2x a month and I walked in at like 100pm check in confirmed on my engage app at 1pm and would not dose me and lied trying to say I wasn't checked in till 1:03 etc which I showed them… my phone says at 1pm and still so Sorry then told I got to come back Saturday Sunday and Monday and will receive my take-homes Monday by Christian the black gaget
I have been a patient at NSTC for over 2 years now. I have been to several different clinics thruout the state of Florida and was a patient at the Gainesville clinic for many years and could never get clean I mean… REALLY clean going there because of all the bureaucracy, red tape, judgment, and lack of genuine care of staff or clients there plus their parking lot was like and all you can consume drug buffet, but after transferring over to NSTC I and my husband got clean right away and have been able to maintain our sobriety ( minus a few speed bumps on his part) for over 2 years now. I love most of the staff and they do actually listen and usually will help you thru any problems you have instead of punishing you for small mistakes or trying to halt your progress over every little thing. Over all I have had a great experience here and would never go anywhere else.+ they are about to open a new branch clinic in Gainesville which will be great and will genuinely help alot of people who have only ever been able to go to Meridian there and have never been at a REAL treatment facility designed to help them get clean not just take their money. To all the staff at NSTC Ocala, I love you all and thanks for giving me my life back.

Great staff here.
This place is amazing. They charge you $44 to guest dose 1 day. ($25 guest dose fee plus $19 to dose). Been a guest at other places and NEVER paid more than the dose. All this after they lose your guest paperwork and… force you to scramble to make others move fast on your behalf to send the paperwork AGAIN, mind you, after a phone call confirmed before going that my paperwork was there and ready. I spent over an hour trying to do their job. This place is a joke and I'm happy to be at my home clinic again where I'm treated as a human. I'll also be filing a formal complaint for HIPAA violations
