Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Port Charlotte Reviews and Ratings
For a view of Metro Treatment of Florida LP beyond its license and service list, read the reviews in this section. Patients and families use them to describe the admissions process, the staff and the day-to-day running of the program.
Experience better than par, definitely way cleaner n more welcoming... staff is pretty friendly n helpful but do seem understaffed at times.... feels judgement free n they treat you like your a human n not you know!!!… People don't hangout in the parking lot doing illegal activities, like what was common in n outside of other similar businesses... recommend going here instead of your other options
If you truly want help to tackle your addiction please look elsewhere. This facility is only in it for the money. I tried for over 6 months to slowly taper off my daily dose. But everytime I asked the on site doctor I… was told I just need a drug test. I've been going here for over a year, not 1 failed drug screen. The entire staff there minus the two counselors treated me like I'm less than human being everytime I went there to dose. It is hard to overcome drug addiction, places like new seasons are supposed help you get off the drugs you are addicted to however new seasons would rather take my money than have a plan to eventually get drug free. I have decided I am better off seeking help somewhere that treats with dignity and respect and not just another addict to exploit money from for life
It's a great place to visit! Fun for the whole family :)
My BF(best friend) and I have been going here for well over a year now. 98% of the time I'm happy with the clinic as a whole. There were a few times that I had issues but it was with the staff at that time and they are… no longer there. The entire staff has since changed. The nurses are on point and dosing only takes a few minutes. Rarely are we there any longer than 10/15 minutes. Kyera is always running a hundred different directions but knows everything that's going on and can answer questions others can't. James, Bless his heart, is somewhat new to this type of counseling but he's coming along. He's always positive and remembers your strengths. He is constantly encouraging you to be your best. Danielle is pretty awesome. She has past experience in this field so she knows what to say before you even ask the question or just need to talk. I don't know the ARNP's name(we just call her the Doctor) but she doesn't make you feel belittled or like an addict. She treats you with same respect and dignity that you show her. She he's spent extra time just listening to me when it was "one of those days". She doesn't sugar coat and can come off blunt, but us in recovery need that. She doesn't leave you guessing if you're changing treatment. She tells you exactly what and how things are. Her office feels more like a comfy hiding spot than a clinic. No anxiety from the sterile grey walls. Iykyk. This place has literally saved my life. That's not an exaggeration.
The clinic is very clean and well maintained. The nurses and counselors are attentive and very friendly.
I like this place more then other’s in my area, the female doctor is hard to put up with, but maintain a professional presence. Love most of the other office people, the nurses are very cool.
Beyond unprofessional, rude as well as disrespectful and discourteous. The nurse Rory was nothing but condescending, ignorant and blatantly cares nothing for company policy or patient privacy or dignity. The intake… coordinator Kirya I believe her name had zero professionalism, the blatant disrespect and displeasure she displayed towards patients was ever apparent. In short if you would like to be treated with nothing but hate, ignorance and disdain by individuals that have zero ethics than please come down to this location. Let me give you a quick example I spoke to new season they assured me and verified my insurance is accepted and valid, once I was at this location they did nothing but give me the run around and stated I have to pay and that it was not accepted and simply brushed me and this valid issue off, their attitudes and actions legitimately made me fearful of retaliation if I pushed the subject. There is zero communication between individuals within this facility to the detriment of the patient. If your able I highly suggest going to the closest alternative. If any new season higher up see's this review please I implore you to do a follow up or at the very least ask others (patients and the like) if they received the same type of interactions and or treatment with this particular staff. Dignity and decency is a simple thing to give, these two employees of new season care nothing for that it is obvious they have dealt with some rude people but that is not an excuse for the behavior I personally witnessed and dealt with.
This place is a joke someone goes in there for a treatment that has worked for over a year and they switch them to methadone!!! That’s a joke they just stepped the man up the next level will be back on the streets they… don’t care about their patients they just care to make that money
Most people would picture a clinic, dirty, trashy and no time. It's clean, most of the counseling is good. Most of then understand. You're in and out. If you follow the rules, things go as planned. Make sure you got… medicade or some good insurance. Or that $$$
Everyday is a great place to start!
Overall a good place. Thank you.
