About Mind and Body Consortium – Middletown
Mind and Body Consortium operates from 118 Sandhill Drive in Middletown. The site sits in New Castle County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Mind and Body Consortium
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Mind and Body Consortium Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 118 Sandhill Drive, Middletown, DE 19709, in New Castle County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip.

Mind and body have great therapist and psychiatrist. My therapist I trust on my first session with her and I’m more then comfortable to talk to her about anything
Amanda is an amazing therapist to see. She is very personable, knowledgeable, and most importantly HELPFUL! The resources and support she is able to provide has been so helpful and she has the ability to help one create… real change in their life. The passion and care that she shows is refreshing. I always have a great experience here and front desk staff are always so kind to me!
I came to this office with hesitation, but I'm having a great experience with the entire office & it's been most helpful...
We've had nothing but a good experience here. Front desk has been kind and helpful. Good communication and patient with me trying to figure out schedule that works. In the months that we've been going, not once have I… been asked to reschedule an appointment for shown up and no one was there. Mrs. Amanda has been wonderful with my 2 children (11 and 9 years old). During intake she asked all the questions in a sensitive way so I could give information without oversharing with my children if I didn't want to. She didn't speak at them, she spoke with them and her overall communication with us has gone very well. I think there is a certain energy or vibe that you have to have to be helpful and we found that here.
It’s good place to go to when you need help
very cool person very informative has helped me a lot :)
They have canceled my appointment 3 times. I need to find a competent therapist and this is NOT the place.
I look forward to speaking with my therapist every month.
The front end and therapist is amazing
I love em but the hours are hard like we need an after hours person to talk to even if it’s just to babble and relieve stress from that particular second and try to help..you never know what’s really going on at the… other end of that phone….a call could save someone’s life…. ❤️❤️😂❤️😂🥰🥰🤟🤟🫶🫶
I have professional and personal experience with the Mind and Body Consortium. Their clinical and administrative staff are generally insightful, helpful, and flexible. I saw Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Cindy… Cunningham. She is exceptionally skilled, up-to-date on the latest research, and accessible while maintaining professional boundaries. I am grateful to have had her support during a difficult time; she helped me tremendously.
Such a wonderful place. The doctor listened to me and all of my questions were answered. She was patient and beyond helpful. My experience has been nothing short of great.
Showing up for appointments and NO ONE being there is becoming a regular occurrence. Then they say hey let’s do a tele health call instead… um how about you get someone there when they are supposed to be there or just… schedule the phone call from the get go
Horrible customer service. I hope you don’t need serious mental help because they could care less. I waited 2 weeks to receive a call back to schedule. Finally got scheduled only for them to not come through with my… virtual appointment. I called them twice half hour before the appointment spoke to them telling them i never received the link and then they marked me down as a no show. Then they wouldn’t even reschedule me for their mishap no sorry or anything just sent me to a voicemail.
These people sincerely care about their patients. That means the world to me and should to all of us! If you are seeking help, this is the place to go. I searched for 2 years until coming upon them and while I won't… mention the others, they just don't compare in the level of professionalism and care!
Hard to get ahold of and my therapist after two years droped me bc I broke my leg and couldnt get up the stairs so I had to cancel some appts. Then they said they would just put me with a new therapist, like no ive been… working with this one for 2 years I dont just want to be thrown with another one. All in all they care about money not the patients. If I could give it a 0 I would
This has been one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had. First, i was expecting to go in and sit with someone face to face. No one ever told me that I'd be directed to sit at a table with a monitor on it,… in an empty room and have a really poorly connected video call appt. I could have saved fuel and done that from my sofa! So impersonal for someone looking for help. About half of my 45 min appt was spent asking the doctor to repeat herself because it was cutting in and out. At the end i'm told that she wanted me to talk to another doctor. She was supposed to check to make sure he was in my network and call me back to let me know i can make an appt. Its been over a month now and I've called every Friday since, to get things moving and I am STILL waiting! Spoke to the desk today and was told "it's not up to the doc to make your appt for you!" Very ignorant girl! She didn't understand what I was saying but didn't want to be quiet long enough to hear an explanation. Unbelieveable!
I had heard great things about the facility, but my experience has been less than. On two separate occasions for none related issues, I attempted to make an appointment to no avail. The intake person seemed young and… was unwilling to help get me scheduled. I will notify the physician that referred me, I will not be trying them again.
Before I even had a chance to get to my appointment they were trying to shove medicine down my throat. Not even five minutes in my therapist suggests drugs AGAIN and then got upset when I refused. The next day they… called me four times without leaving a message. I finally answered and again they wanted me to go to a medicine consult. My therapist was horrible. Will never go to therapy again because of this practice.
the people there are very patient and always understanding
Just tried to call and ask a few questions regarding the types of services and about insurance. The woman who answered the phone was very short with me and very quick to send me to a voicemail. Thank goodness it wasn’t… urgent! Very unprofessional and I decided not to even give them a chance. No wonder they take walk in appointments. First impressions mean a lot to me.
I came for an appt with an appt card and said appt didnt exist. I was dropped by the psychologist I was seeing for missing appts I had never scheduled. My last straw was when I tried to get a prescription refilled… (anti-depressants) and was refused because I hadn't made a follow up appt. When I attended my last follow up with the NP, I asked her directly if I needed to make a follow up appt and how soon. Her response was if I had questions or felt it necessary to make an appt, to go ahead. If not, then it wasnt necessary. When trying to straighten things out, I asked if I could get a refill to last me until the date of my appt. I was told no. In my whole experience, they were unprofessional and extremely irresponsible for a mental health practice. Sad thing is, the psychologist I saw was pretty awesome. Thank heaven for my PCP being willing to take over my prescription. It drives me insane that they weren't willing to work with me what so ever and I was left to stop my meds cold turkey
Trash is a word. Unprofessional, have zero sense of urgency or importance for their clients. Also just in case anyone is like me. I mean that I am afraid of suddenly being without meds. They are trying to currently tell… me I haven’t gotten a prescription in 8months when I have every single months bottle. Do yourselves and any loved ones a favor and don’t bother with this place. I’m beyond stressed from dealing with these people.
