I would give this place 0 stars if I could, but I needed to leave atleast 1 to write a review... Place is an absolute JOKE! instead of being helpful WHATSOEVER, "counsellors" play constant games with clients and end up… making them feel like their time has been wasted... VERY AGGRAVATING!!🤬

I was in this facility 2-3 years ago for 10 days. Recently, I was just released from anther mental health ward this time in Lewiston Idaho St Joe hospital. I would like to contrast these two. Spoiler, I do NOT recommend… using a private mental health clinic. *****EVER****. Do not surrender your freedom when there is a profit motive to hold you longer than needed St Joe Hospital was a fantastically better experience. One was a business seeking profit, and the other was a hospital seeking to provide care. The contrast in care was FANTASTIC. One felt like a prison and the other like a warm embrace. 1st big difference. In both facilities I witnessed severely troubled loud patients. The private facility allowed the troubled patient to roam the halls at night screaming, tearing hand sanitizers off the wall and smashing a computer. No attempt was made to protect the patients during the day. At night they locked patient doors doing nothing for those of us living with trauma. I never felt safe here making treatment impossible. St Joe had a troubled patient but they handled it. The feeling of danger was only moments when security was on it like stink on shit. I spent days in danger at Mohave In both cases I went to recover from severe mania. In Mohave, I was held for days against my will. At St Joe I asked to be released and I was free within 6 hours. I believe one is about profit and the other is about care. Mohave actually TRAPS its patients. Don't do it. Find a hospital with a mental health ward. I's profit versus care. For the record, I suffer from PTSD (100% disability VA) and severe bipolar. Loud noises trigger. And boy do they trigger Everyone was in fear at Mohave, and nearly everyone mentioned it. It seemed thick in the air. One more note, during intake at Mohave after I had finished telling of some trauma the nurse (if she can be called that) sarcastically said "yea, you've been ruined". At St Joe the intake was done by a man that told me he actually teared while telling doc my story, Avoid this place at all costs!

Dorian Peters is the best BHT!!! She is awesome and has gone through what I’ve been through and even way more. I love her because she is caring and understanding without judgement but also straightforward and tells you… what you need to hear not what you want to hear. JB and Ashley are great also! Really good place and great people just give them a chance. They are also all recovering addicts so give them a damn break! 🖤

Was in services for long time and longer still after suicide attempt gunshot no exit wound to the head Shawshank redemption style under chin slight to back center through tongue , I continued services for 7 years and… they were and are the best Alyssa amazing and the great one of ACT, Dona spectacular, all the ACT team are amazing people and sound character and judgement but we all are human so remember that folks not one alive living today are righteous, human beings are not Angels no one is perfect. Now that's out of the way I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude and just adoration and affection for those individuals who have worked with me and aided me through this journey and I am sad as I no longer am in services as I will not go to anyone else I made that clear upon first working with them after everything else and everyone else they are and were the only place/group I would ever work with again so it does pain me given the circumstances. They became such a invaluable part of my life of course my silly mind seen the services provided as for life , they aided me to where I became expectant and I apologize for that. I miss the opportunity of being able to have such valuable consul I accomplished so much outstanding feats truly I don't think I would have nay I know I would never have accomplished so much if it were not for their support, sad to say I got complacent and forgot things I think we all did. This is not a biased well not completly so as things that happened would not suggest a positive review on a personal solely count, be that as it may the services provided were outstanding above exceptional just remarkable so with that I say I'll truly miss them all how could anyone not and with heart full in a matter of respect and adoration love to you all Love to you W. |||||. New patient, new experience and not impressed I was prescribed a heart medication to help with anxiety, physical symptoms, and nothing for the mental doctor didn’t care. Didn’t wanna give me what works for all symptoms… not even on a temporary basis as I navigate thru some heavy stuff. Simply asked for something to use on the bad days while going thru something’s I was honest up front tried all the things that they wanted me to do that did not work and took medications that knocked me out. Very discouraged 😩

They don't treat their clients with respect. They think we're stupid. They take on too much of the case load and they are just out of their league. I'm trying to help somebody. I've been needing their help for the many… years now and I never get satisfied. I end up going. Because what's the point? I'm going if I don't get to help but I'm mandatory to go. So I have no choice but to Goh place is ridiculous and the case managers are a joke. They have no idea what we're really going through and how we really feel. And if they cared at all, they would go above and beyond to make sure that we're taking care of but you don't. The Doctor can't speak english and doesn't understand anything that I say. They used to have tons of groups and things to do.And now they don't have nothing and I think it's ridiculous.I've been going there for almost ten plus years and no I see why i'm not going anywhere in life

Don't waste your time or energy with this place. You're gonna pay over 100 or more dollars before you even see a doctor, then you're going to answer a bunch of questions ripped straight from an online assesment, just to… be told what you already know. You will then Meet with a doctor who will ask you those same questions, prescribe you medicine (even if it conflicts with medication you are currently taking) and be pushed out the door. They do not care about you.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a joke. They don’t help ppl when it’s needed most. They throw all these unnecessary medications at you. For instance, they try and push blood pressure medications on… you if you have anxiety. Don’t waste your time coming here. They never return calls and change appointments without asking the patient so you end up missing appointments.

This place wouldn't be bad except for the SMI supervisor. She is untrustworthy and just seems to only care about herself. This can affect the people that go there because she can tell their clinicians and caseworkers… what to do(this is for theSMI people)

I went to this place seeking a referral for a treatment facility I wanted to go to. It took them weeks to accomplish nothing. They made me go through so many unnecessary things. They never listened to what I needed… done. I went there with very specific things, like medication refills and the referral. After two weeks, they finally got me in to see a psychiatric doctor, who didn’t listen to what I told her I was on and proceeded to write me entirely the wrong prescriptions, none of which I had been on like the others for years. It took another week of going there almost every day for hours to get it straightened out. This was because one of the medications I was on had to specifically be filled before I got to the place I was trying to go. This wasn’t even the worst part. They assigned me a case manager there who, not once but twice, got my situation wrong and made a treatment plan based on the wrong information. Once I made her aware of it, she still couldn’t admit she was wrong and make a treatment plan according to what the facility I was going to wanted done. Still not the worst part. I was homeless during this time, staying in hotels. I had no money left to even do that anymore because of how long this whole ordeal went on. The worst part was she knew I had been staying in my car the previous nights and knew I was out of money, but she was literally happy at the idea I was homeless and says it would be good for me, and because I was, she wanted me to also do 30 days of IOP before going to the treatment facility. I wish I was joking. She based this idea on the false information I mentioned, but she also just seemed to be delusional and thought being homeless as an ex-drug addict with bipolar disorder and PTSD was the best choice. I had enough at this point. I called Southwest Behavioral Services. This allowed me to go to the treatment place, which I am still at now. There are reasons why the reviews are bad. They’re accurate. Don’t waste your time here. It took weeks to get nothing done at Mohave, whereas it only took days to get what I wanted done from the start at Southwest Behavioral. Don’t let them try to screw you over by making you think homelessness is the best option, all because some caseworker won’t admit she’s wrong and actually help me. Don’t go here.

Super unhappy with the level of care these people give. My mom went here for 30 years because it was the only option. I moved her closer to me in Nevada and they told me they would have her meds sent here. Never… happened. Called several times. No return calls and when I was able to talk to someone they said no problem and asked for the pharmacy info gave it to them but nothing ever came through. Called several more times no returned calls. These people just want to do the least amount of work possible to collect a check.

Don't believe everything you read here. See for yourself what it's like. Having read all of the negative reviews I thought I'd wait a while to submit my own review. I have been seeing a nurse practitioner there for at… least a year & a half now, & the staff has been very professional, they treat me very well, & my meds are filled on time with no hassle. I don't know what the neg. review people are expecting from MMHC, but they have done a great job for me.
