Mohave Mental Health Clinic Inc Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are where patients and families describe Mohave Mental Health Clinic Inc in their own terms: the welcome at admission, the counseling, the planning for life after treatment.
Reading them is a sensible step before calling the Kingman facility. Writing one, if you have been treated there, helps the families who come next.
Deidra works !! Thank you
Terrible
If I could give negative stars I would!! Worst ever!!! Don’t send your kids here or to the diamond house, which is part of this clinic for troubled teens. The staff members in the house act like teenagers and make… situations worst. Diamond house is a place for troubled teens, but when the staff is troubled too, how’s that to help? When my daughter left due to a crisis, I had to have a family member pick up her belongs from there because I’m 4 hours away. There was clothes missing, her shoes also blanket and pillow. They didn’t check inventory sheets at all. They made it sound so good but in reality it was the worst thing.
If I could give a -5 I would have given it. I really wish I would have read the reviews! But when you’re in a mental health crisis you don’t stop to think about that. I went there knowing I was struggling as the meds I… should have been taken were by a Colorado DR so I couldn’t get them here. These people took my suffering then asked for 195$ not telling me what it was for, she only said “the plan” I assumed it was for a few appts. NOPE, they then called the next day and wanted another 95$ and I still had two other appts to get there. IF they really cared they would be clear. This place is a big SCAM.so now I’m out 300$ and still struggling mentally but they don’t care, they got their money and dropped me. I would never ever go back to this place again!!
Do not trust this place.
Tried to get therapy with them. My health insurance says that I’m covered yet. The lady kept telling me I would have to pay out-of-pocket and didn’t wanna listen to me. I struggle with addiction and have been trying to… get therapy for years now and every time I go trying to get help from people. I’m always turned away. I’m so glad that our mental health people care more about money than the actual person needing help.
This place will give the impression that the accept your insurance and after you fill out the paperwork and talk to them briefly you will discover they actually don't accept most insurances but will try to scam you into… paying a fee like they do, yet they don't. The fee your paying is what anyone pays depending on your income. That being said don't put any trust in these people trying to actually help you with the issue you may have. This place clearly just wants your money.
If I could give no stars I would.
I have been through seven case managers. The med doctor decided she didn't want to work with me anymore. After I told her several times that I was having issues my medications I told my case managers. I was having… issues with my medications and I begged and pleaded for something to happen and nobody made anything happen. So I weaned myself off of the medications that were making me feel like I was going to hurt myself or somebody and they get mad at me for that. Even though I had reached out numerous times, I have been without any medication to stabilize me since October and it I don't have an appointment again until January. This is just not acceptable. I need something. I need better service from them and I need them to address the needs needs and the concerns that I have.
Act like they care when in fact do not. I know you guys get busy and not everyone you see is on the straight and narrow but to not call when you said you would and not call at all even is top of the line bad service.… Bob made it seem like he really wanted to help even talking to me cussing out and talking badly about his coworker April because of the way she wrote something “he was gonna talk with his supervisor “ and nothing became of it. I’ve left messages on his phone. The Jackie lady who was supposed to put in a Prior auth. also couldn’t be bothered to give us a call to let us know if my little brother got in or not. If he didn’t just let us know so we can move on. Absolutely terrible service.
Horrible! Do not recommend to my worst enemy. 1 year there still not 1 therapy session that iv been begging for. Been 6 months since I got put on new meds, still haven't been seen again. Canceled my appointment when I… was less than ten minutes late when three different people called me to ask if I was coming and I told them yes as soon as I got off work. My caseworker has been changed five times in less than a year. The medication they prescribe mine as well be sugar pills. This place puts me in a rage when I walk into it. Was promised phone calls every week and face to face appointments every week bc I was suicidal and going through a really bad time and they forgot to call and forgot about our appointments. Then when I made a Grievance about it the person told me that they had been here a long time so this must be a misunderstanding and belittled my issues. They never know what's going on. They never call or send a text to remind me of my appointment which they don't set for mo ths out. Absolutely horrible place obviously only care about getting pay checks
they have the worst service ever don’t go!!
Went here for a year and then they trippled the rates on me because my wife got a job.
Worst place in the world to get mental health help. They act like they care until they have you in there office. There transportation is the worst if they get you there they most of time have you there late, or… transportation doesn't show up at all. They bring you in for appointments you don't have the you have to wait a hour to get home. The set up appointments after groups a hour later then you have to wait for that to spend five minutes and end up waiting a half hour more to get you home. You ask to speak to a supervisor they look at you stupidly . The supervisor never responds. All in all it's a place I would say to avoid. Of you can find someone else in the field. There is several that take Medicare and medicaid to chose from investigate before you go through make sure its right for you.
I seen JD for about 4 years and he saved my life. I can't explain the amount of intelligence this man has to help me put in the work to cope properly with my ptsd and get my life back. Thank you JD Walker
Do not send your kid here. Therapists are very unhelpful to most mental health problems and forget about appointments. My psychiatrist was rude.
Me and my wife are in town for work. We are working just across the st from this business. We have a 9 week old puppy that is travelling with us today. Its very hard to find a place to let her out in kingman. Its over… 100 degrees and we just needed a shade spot for a few minutes. We noticed a shady tree on the edge of the property. Our puppy was able to use the bathroom and we were cleaning it up when a lady approached us. She basically told us we were trespassing and needed to leave. Zero empathy for our situation. Thanks for having a heart. 😔
I enrolled back into services and set up to see a case worker. Due to not being in services for sometime my mental health hasn’t been the greatest thus causing me to have some brain fog. I ended up missing my first… appointment and when the case worker called me I explained that I was sorry and I had forgotten but I wasn’t dressed to go anywhere. Before I could finish what I was saying she cut me off and told me that doesn’t work for her and immediately jumped into setting up a new appointment. After I got off the phone I called the phone number and let them know that due to what just occurred I wanted a new case worker. They told me well you already have a new appointment but I guess we can send this to the supervisor. It’s been a little over a month and still haven’t heard back. Nice to see that they truly care for the clients.
Good people but dumb my aunt put on the nice act and now im suffering because they released me and i have more reactants outburst of anger
Dropped the ball on my husband's meds. Not acceptable!!
They saved my life. Highly recommend!!!
My therapist, Ashley, is a perfect match for me. She is a great listener and offers excellent advice. Dana, the NP, seems to forget the hypocritical oath to DO NO HARM. She doesn't listen, and throws out ultimatums on… the fly. She has caused me to have 2 seizures thus far. It appears there's an element called compassion missing from some of the staff. Thankfully there are some caring people there, or we'd all be screwed.
Thank You Ashley!!
Terrible service and was almost no help. If anything they made my mental health worse.
We Have A VERY GOOD COUNSELOR THERE. BRANDI IS AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, SHE HAS HELPED OUR FAMILY OUT TREMENDOUSLY.!!!!!!!!! I JUST PRAY, THAT SHE KNOWS THAT. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH BRANDI !!… ✝️🙏🖖✌️☮️☯️🐨💖🍀😇🎊😊🥰🤗😺😻☢️🐮😊👾💖🙏✝️👀🤗
