North Broward – Fort Lauderdale Detox and Rehab Services
North Broward – Fort Lauderdale is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

North Broward – Fort Lauderdale Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 2900 West Prospect Road in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309. The city lies within Broward County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

If you just got out of jail and don't have insurance or money, this is your only option. But they will have you come to the location to then hop on a video call with the "doctor". For some reason you can't just do it… via Zoom on your phone. My provider didn't speak good English. Thankfully I wasn't really struggling while receiving care here, because if I were, no real help would have been received.
The location at laudeerlakes is the worst staff.Packed with unprofessional element.
I have nothing, but positive experiences with this hospital. They do change Psychiatrists a lot, bye everyone has been amazing
The office lacks professionalism and BASIC customer service skills. Dealing with people who struggle with their mental health, you think there would be an office of people willing to be caring and paitent. Every single… location I have been to thus far, has the same issues without any solutions. Any appointments you make are not taken seriously. Even If you schedule an appointment, you are BOUND to wait over 2 hours to be seen. Then, when you actually make it towards the back, the employees are just wasting time. There is NO urgency, there is NO care. It’s almost like they hire ANYONE off the street and make them attend to people with SERIOUS mental health issues. It’s VERY unfortunate that people with mental health illnesses to have have to endure their disgusting business practices. But I will be the first to take these complaints to a higher authority. No one should have to experience this, especially when trying to find resources. The worst place to receive any mental help in the state of FLORIDA.
I want to thank Jasenya for helping me with the services of Henderson and I feel appreciated
Communication is a 1 star, and lack of care is zero. They continue to call me in regards to an appointment I don’t have nor have ever made. I am assuming a patient accidentally put the wrong number in when filling out… the form, so to be kind I called to ask that my number be taken off instead of cancelling someone’s important appointment. Customer service is unable to assist in any way she says.. Seems a little unlikely and just lazy.
I agree with the Sasou review with Henderson facility on Prospect Road in Tamarac, Florida. I thought I was getting an appointment with a psychiatrist only to find out that I was assigned a psych nurse who was trained… on line. This staff member has several other negative comments from others also. I too was prescribed a wrong med for my condition sending me to the emergency room. Also according to “Psychology Today”, it shows that this individuals license is expired. One day of expiration is not exceptable. I have changed providers and now have a real Psychiatrist,MD at a real mental health facility. As far as location. There is no shopping center where they say they are located. The outside of the building landscaping is terrible. Looks like it hasn’t been attended too in years. Very disappointed with Florida Healthcare System across the board.
At Henderson Behavioral Health all the staff are very compassionate and professional at all times. Truly dedicated to deal with a "demanding" clientele and helping in solving their difficult issues. God bless them all.
They are not miracle workers, but they sure try their best. Very sad that some of our kids are sometimes beyond help. In some ways we have to take some blame for this. This works best when we , as parents, are able to… detect symptoms early and get them help early, denial gets in the way. Sometimes is very difficult to see when our children are struggling mentally, No parent wants to admit to this, Even worse, we don’t know how to deal with it. Is difficult. We were very lucky. Ray , Katoya worked, and helped our daughter. Yosi, worked with us, she helped us understand how to deal with this. Without her help, I have no doubt things would have turned out different. Today, our daughter is home, different person, graduated High school. Most importantly, she is alive.
This was my experience with Dr. Evelyn Noelle on August 7, 2025 : With this experience I have decided to switch to a new provider due to this provider being uncaring and unethical . Reasons: 1. Premature Diagnostic… Assumptions: • When asked about feeling manic, the provider immediately suggested that I “probably have bipolar disorder” without conducting a thorough assessment. • This response did not make me feel comfortable or confident in the evaluation. 2. Dismissal of Side Effects: • I reported that my current medication (Lexapro) causes excessive sweating, which is a known side effect. • The provider denied this as a side effect and dismissed my research, telling me not to “believe everything you see on Google.” 3. Vague Medication Explanation: • When asked about the new medication she was recommending, she initially stated it would help “with everything” I am experiencing. • Only after repeated questioning did she mention anxiety and depression specifically. • No clear discussion of potential side effects or mechanism of action was provided. 4. Medical Records for Travel: • I requested my medical records for potential travel and relocation to another country. • The provider questioned why I would need them and made me feel incompetent for requesting them. • She suggested that TSA or other authorities would only need the medication bottle information, which is insufficient for international healthcare requirements. 5. Cannabis Use / Dismissive Attitude: • When I disclosed occasional cannabis use, she criticized it, saying it is “very bad” and that I could never know what I am putting into my body, dismissing my research and preparation. • She shared an anecdote about a patient who allegedly experienced paranoia from cannabis use, implying a worst-case scenario without medical evidence. 6. Medication Quantity / Pressure: • She repeatedly stated that taking multiple medications (6–8) is normal and necessary to feel better, using hand gestures to illustrate “up and down” levels. • I expressed a preference to avoid excessive medication, which was not respected or addressed. 7. Irrelevant Personal Anecdotes: • She shared stories about her daughter’s medication and other patients’ experiences rather than focusing on my care. • She avoided answering questions about her daughter’s potential ADHD diagnosis. 8. Medication Sent Without Consent: • After my visit, the new medication was sent to me without confirmation of my decision or payment. • I did not take the medication due to concerns about side effects, including movement, muscle stiffness, and potential mania with Lexapro.
As a professional contacting another professional organization, I wouldn't expect a fax number to be a highly kept secret. First, your fax numbers should be on your website. Second, I shouldn't have to be transferred to… 3 different people to get the fax number. Do better.
If I was just rating Dr. Marchand, Douglas, and the front office staff I would give them 5 stars, they are the best! The pharmacy however is problematic. They are rude, won't acknowledge you, and would rather eat than… get your medication ready.
These are the most incompetent and uncaring individuals in the mental health field. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with their staff or the equally incompetent Genoa pharmacy.
I have been with Henderson for many many years and I am Blessed to say that I am very happy with my service I currently receive from Henderson. They have friendly staff and the Pharmacy is onsite with knowledgeable… techs which are also very friendly. I would definitely recommend Henderson as I feel they are a great help to my issues.
Every psychiatrist I’ve had at this place is either negative, incompetent, overmedicates you. The one therapist I’ve had at this place didn’t feel like she cared about and had me just write in a notebook every time in… “therapy.” In summary: Rude reception, they don’t fill your prescription unless you go in for the visit and if you can’t make it, oh well, they leave you without medicine, unhelpful therapists, rude and unhelpful doctors and staff that only make you feel bad after leaving that place.
If i could put no stars i would. I had an appointment scheduled for 3 PM and got there still haven't been seen by the doctor. My mother and i heard the doctor laughing and talking in the hall while i waited my turn… which is an hour past due. i waited an hour and half then eventually got frustrated then asked to be changed to a different location, I had to leave my job early for this appointment which is an inconvenience. This wasn't the first time something like this happened & i was already very annoyed and frustrated. They never have anything updated in the system, i been going to ALL of my appointments with my mom & for them not to have it on record, pulling me from sitting next to my mom to ask me if she's not on paper she can't be there THE SAME PEOPLE SEE ME WITH MY MOM EVERYTHIME I GO. What made it worse was they were speaking like she's a stalker or something.. Mind you the first time the doctor didn't know why i was taking certain meds from my first appointment... Maybe it's just this location because the very first time i went to Henderson in Lauderdale lakes, i had a way better experience, the Lauderdale lake location everybody was nice, respectful, and considerate of people's time. as far as for this location i don't have positives things to say at all.
I had Appointment yesterday it was a Breeze to get through.... Awesome Services
I am extremely satisfied and happy to have a team that help me with my mental health. Also I recommend going to Henderson Behavioral Health because in all honesty, the staffs help me through tough times and I’m very… grateful with Dr. Scott words cannot describe how she save me through tough times and I’m very grateful to her! Also, the staff is really kind and understanding especially Jasenya she works really hard and she really cares about the patients so shout out to her!!!
Their website states they have a 94% satisfaction rate. Who are they surveying? Their mission: "It is our Mission to be the premier provider of accessible, cost effective, and quality behavioral healthcare services to… the people of South Florida, in order to promote their mental health and well-being." Their annual revenue is between $10-50 Million but they hire the most uncaring, incompetent staff. When I started with Henderson 10 years ago the psychiatrist I had was wonderful and caring. Now I'm told to "get over" the loss of my grandmother. As someone with bi-polar depression, I don't think that's practical. Today, I called to ask if my appointment could be done over the phone or via Zoom because my beloved dog of 16 years died yesterday and I'm not doing well emotionally. I was basically admonished by the staff for even asking. There is no care or compassion for those suffering with mental health issues. I won't even get into the times I've had to beg for medication refills. Medication I need to function. Upper Management needs to seriously take a look at the staff from LCSW to support staff and do A LOT of up-training. We deserve better. Full stop.
The majority of the staff here are highly incompetent and unqualified to perform their job description with any degree of effectiveness.. Don't waste your time going here if you truly seek help with your mental health… needs..⭐
I am beyond frustrated with this establishment. I no longer have the patience to speak politely to these people. I have requested my medical records since march and it’s now may. They made me do a whole exam because I… requested the records. I did not get the records that day because they told me they have to request them and I have to pay money for it at a different location. She also said they’ll call me when it’s ready. During our meeting she was on her phone the whole time and ordering Dunkin’ Donuts. I know this because she told me she was… 1 week later I’m still waiting for the other location to call me to tell me my records are ready to be picked up. I called and they told me there was never a request for my records. Hmmm must’ve been distracted. No biggie, So I request them again at the medical records office, she told me she’ll call me when it’s ready. 2 weeks go by and I call and she said why haven’t you come picked it up it’s been ready the day you asked for it……. Are you serious? I finally get the records and there is a ton of inconsistencies saying I’m a 32 year old black female. I’m not black and I haven’t time traveled to be 32 yet. SO i request for it to be corrected which only needs someone to change the nationality and age. It’s now may and I’ve been calling everyday for an update, I’ve left several voicemails to different managers and nothing. The govt has requested my records to see if I’m fit for the job. They gave me 60 days to turn in the records and Henderson knows this and still has no sense of urgency.
don't come here unless you have no other choice... had the worst doctor ever.. took forever during appointments.. had no idea what she was prescribing.. doesnt remember anything about her patients.. didn't even send my… new prescription to the pharmacy. called again and they still didn't.
